To what my liking. Comfortable firm. While it provides good body roll control yet maintain the good comfort level.

Around 1000cc but with Turbo charge. The power delivery is quite impresive, better than some higher cc NA engine in the same segment.

KIA Piccanto and this Almera has huge different in price. And Piccanto is a segment lower than the Almera. Of coz if budget allow this Almera is a better car than the KIA Piccanto for sure.

@@AnthonyLoh yes. Mine 3 months old with only 900km mileage, this is common issue for this almera, who ever have this almera confirm kena one.Already claim warranty and replace new one, hope can last long.

Fortunately nope. It is quite stable. I need to drive a X50 to actually compare both of them which are more superior interms handling the vibration on the 3 cylinders engine.

Hi thanks for watching my videos. As for my preference I will more to Almera. Reason is I am more to new technology type of guy. I felt the car is more lively to drive at least at city driving level. And secondly I felt the car design is more to my liking.
As for the reliability of turbo charge engine, this is an unsure territory since we do not have any testimonial that showing how reliable or unreliable the car is. But turbo charge engine do get higher tempreture compare to NA engine and there will be more parts and components compare to NA engine. More stuff means higher chances of things getting break down.

About that turbo stuff they lying, turbo actually realible, till now my Peugeot 3008 2007 turbo still got no problem at turbo, whoever say turbo got problem r nissan hater

Surprisingly both are quite same on 11.3 seconds(from other source). But from acceleration test I felt the Almera was the quicker one.

They are totally different cars. If you have the Budget of coz the Almera turbo, it has latest technologies and far more powerful and efficient. Else the Almera 1.5vl and it is just because of the price

Actually (typical), I've been considering (and comparing between city, vios, Almera turbo and Almera 1.5vl) less bumpy (good suspension), better acceleration & transition, stability and fuel efficient (again, typical). Do you think Almera 1.5vl has it all? If you said 1.5vl is good enough than I might opt for it then.
@@lolol2699 If you just looking for a comfortable, spacious and reliable everyday B segment car. I would say the Almera 1.5vl is the car. I am not sure how efficient it will be compare to the newer cars out there. But by judging on its size and weight alone, the car supposedly won't be a fuel guzzler.

All things being equal n constat i'd say the 3 cylinders have much quieter cabins..what say u sifu....?
While for engine itself the 3 cylinders engine might be a bit more noisy if compare to 4 cylinders engine. It still depends how well the car sound insulation being done.

Did you take 0-100kmh how many secs?
Not quite a 0 to 100kmh. You can check at 6:56 acceleration test. If not mistaken it was 0-80kmh took around 12 to 13seconds.

To me the steering weight is 4/10. 1 to be the lightest and 10 to be the heaviest.

Nvh between vios and almera,which one better?other than that,how about handling?
NVH there pretty similar. The handling I will give a slight edge to VIOS. To me Almera is like new tech toy which is refreshing and efficient. As for VIOS overall felt like a bigger car in terms of driving sensation.
How's the torque from the turbo engine?
The torque comes early. The acceleration really a breeze. Pretty impressive from a 3 cylinders engine I would say.
WHICH ONE IS BETTER TO DRIVE ? CITY 2020 OR ALMERA 2020 ? INTERMS OF ENGINE POWER
The new Almera is more engaging from the initial pull due to the turbo charge engine provide early torque. But if for high speed I can foresee the higher capacity 1.5L 4 cylinders engine from the city will have a slight edge over this.
How does the driving and NVH compare to the X50? How do they compare?
X50 is better in term of NVH but it has the wind noise issue when over 80kmh.

You mean NVH? It is quite decent overall. There is no doubt a bit more noise from the engine while hard acceleration. But overall for this segment is quite good.

Reason is I like the turbo charge engine that has a bit more responsiveness and more cooler meter cluster. Btw it definitely cost more than the latest v spec city. Have to wait the RS variant come only can compare again. Personal preference.

You mean 1.4NA engine car? If yes then it is better than that. I felt more powerful than a 1.5NA engine car tho.

@@fdesign6784 I believe you can tune it. While this is 3 cylinders 1000cc engine. Although it is turbo charged it still has a disadvantage on rear end or on top speed compare to high cc engine.

Definitely is a yes. It has been the best Almera to date, and it is a good looking sedan as well as properly specs.

City RS is better equipped, especially on the advance safety features. In everyway the City RS is better I think. But so as.the price difference. Some people don't like hybrid car due to their maintenance tho.

Better than expected in the segment. It is as good as the new city or vios.

@@malmilmul01 Nope. I have both test drive videos. I guess there are many out there have the comparison videos in RUclips you can look for. For the time being I am yet able to do any walk around or in Dept review event comparison video due to I can obtain the car for longer time.

Hi, I went to the Almera show room but didn't test drive it as the price still unavailable. I managed to start the engine and to my surprise the steering shaking like Kelisa, is the test unit you drove also like that? It shake for a few seconds only and after that I can hardly feel any rattling from the dashboard or the steering...is very quiet ...
I notice that is a little bit of vibration but not to the extend like Kelisa's shake or vibration.

I don't get people who turn off the blower and aircond before shutting off the engine. There's no benefit whatsoever. You're just wearing out the knob and button faster.
Perhaps you are right. But the button exist for a reason. So far from ownership of over 5 cars in these 20 years none of them the air-conditioning button spoiled but the other parts of the aircond does.
@@AnthonyLoh The button exists if you don't want the aircond but just the blower or vice versa. Other parts spoil because of wear and tear or defects. It's not like the aircond system is running when the engine is off. Turning off blower/ac is a very misguided "advice"
@@RegBinary while there is no official instructions that what is the way of using the button. It just a personal behaviour that I used to and it is not an "advise". But anyway I glad you bring this up so many can have what they might aware or not aware all this time.

Underpower? I dont think so because it has turbo. The HP is the same 2.0 litre engine. It's not underpower like aruz
