Her playing is so smooth, clear, crisp and clean.......I'm trying to absorb as much of her style as I can, and I'm 70 years old, and I own a 1967 Martin D-28.
A 74 year old axe, in the hands of a master's fingers. Only Doc could play that tune better and maybe Norman Blake, but that could be argued, I'm sure. Fantastic !!
I went by my local guitar center and they had a vintage martin and another vintage gibson, I played them both and it was a thrill. as a guitar player I love the idea of the vintages, the history, who played them before, where they've been, the mystery and more its like they're living things, Of course at $28,000 out my price range, but what an amazing thing.
I hate to be a burden but what exactly is this genre they always play on old martins because I wanna put this style of music in my practice and playlist
What the fuck are trying to say? Also, vintage guitars are better. That's a well known fact. Tell me you can't afford one without telling me you can't afford one....

Among the best vintage d28's I've ever heard. Young lady did it justice.
I could spend all day watching Molly's right hand technique. It's so quiet and efficient.
Me too
She is a superb solo string player. Very musical and tasteful as well as technically excellent.
One of the best versions of the tune. Period.
name of the tune?
@@desanto1 Billy in the lowground
What a Nice Full sound!!!!! Thanks Molly 😃
Birth year guitar for me too.
what absolutely charming playing, makes me really want to practice my acoustic flatpicking. Nicely done!
Old D-28 best sounding guitar ever made! Amazing!
Goddess of the guitar
What a beautiful guitar and player. Thanks so much for the eargasm
Beautiful combination, playing very clear👍
Her playing is awesome ... and on my birth year guitar, no less ... 🎶 👍😃

Must be nice getting to have them beautiful guitars on your knee.
Molly is brilliant
good golly, miss molly!
Great sound ! but she could make anything sound great. Thanks Molly.
Even a rubber band stretched across a hogs asshole?
Billy in the low ground!
Wonderful! Thanks Molly
Billy has never sounded better
Amazing playing, and thanks for sharing!
Look at Molly's little finger, left hand. Almost as long as the adjacent finger---a definite advantage. She is built for flat picking!
Ehhhh
I own a D28 and I am so happy ! But I'm sure my Martin would prefer Molly's fingers over mine !
Funny she can play so fast, when her last name is Turtle 🐢
what a lovely lady with that sound!!!!!
Nice.
Damn girl ,I love it.
wonderful
The instrument was created the year I was born. If I could play it, in my humble style, I would by a very happy old man.
I hope you get to play this sometime mate 😁
good sound old guitar is fine sound!!
I copied this Molly’s wonderful performance. Billy in the Lowground

"Guitar Center" is a swear term.
I just got a 1947 Merriam Webster dictionary, so you know.
Wich strings were used on this box?
Ive been curious. Is that my pick
I can move my hands like that. Randomly.
Does anyone else think that the 1934 and 1938 D-18s she was playing on other videos sound much better than this D-28?
Unless I'm in the room I wouldn't be able to tell
wonder what's written on the hanging price tag? :P
approximately 3000 $ new, more expensive if it's an old one
Molly "the robot" Tuttle
billy in the lowground!
How much is it going for?
this pretty little petite girl is a beast on the guitar
I agree, except I met her once and she's about 5'10."
she's also 24 in this video.
Not sure why being "a pretty little petite girl" has any relevance to the skill being displayed here. . . . .????
exactly!
You would think that a 47 D-28 would get more views.
I hate to be a burden but what exactly is this genre they always play on old martins because I wanna put this style of music in my practice and playlist
These are bluegrass fiddle tunes, this one is called Billy in the Low ground.

The Guitar is expensive, and Molly is priceless.
'47 was a very good year for manufacturing. This is one time I was looking at the player and not the guitar. Boy, she's a cutie ...
