Did mankind propagate bird flu with factory farmed chickens?
We have dead birds and mammals washing up here on California's Central Coast. Big mammals and smaller ones.
Very coincidental
On Sunday 9th July 23 I took a walk along the beach of Aberdeen. I counted at least 40 dead birds, mostly seagulls, and the rest seabirds. I asked people passing if this was something they had seen before, they told me nothing like this. I reported it to DEFRA as this was the online advice.

I saw some black-headed terns on the Polish coast a few weeks ago and the birds are extremely rare in that area. Unfortunately I don't have any good pictures, but this was an unusual encounter and I wonder if it could be caused by dispersal of the colony caused by bird flu.
In October there were wood pigeons dropping from the trees round here. I told defra but they weren't interested as not domestic birds. Then a load of swans died, so many they suspected someone was shooting them and the police actually mounted an operation to catch them. That was eventually traced to avian flue as well. It's serious.

How many are killed by pollution caused by humans……and what about the hundreds of thousand birds killed by wind turbines?
Heartbreaking
I like that at least one species had the intellect to identify the risk to life of gathering around the other species, and changed their breeding location for the season.
I wonder if there's racism between bird species in times like these.
The scientists need to get on it!
Zombies still waiting for them

any new 5G transmitters?
5G is not good but this is clearly a bird virus.
Did this also get made in a lab somewhere?
What a stupid thing to say
Devastating. Just stop intensive farming. Stop with the chicken wings and obsession with eating chickens

Life always adapts. The Sahara desert is thriving. As are those space ducks on Mars.
I wonder what it’s like for the birds to experience the virus, I had that covid deal and damn about 2 weeks out the count…. If I was same size as the birds I’d be dead too I think
What a sponge 🧽

The influenza virus might have started in fish. Researchers trawling genetic databases have discovered a distant relative of influenza viruses - which are responsible for seasonal flu, not to mention the avian flu roiling the globe, pilchard fish contaminated with sewage treatment
