I had a run with Mama Tinkerson and Bling Bank, and I stalled against the squid boss that increases numbers when it attacks. The Bling Bank was showing 8x7 per kill or something like that when I had to end the fight. Finished the run with over 1,000 bling.
The way I evaluate zoomlin wafers is that if it saves you even one turn it already makes up it's draw cost of one card, since you can use one turn to draw 6 or 7. For example at 43:27 two plays and redraw costs 3 turns while zoomlin into redraw costs 2. That's already a net profit, even if you don't count being able to play the free clunkers which are almost like extra crowns.
For your screenshots, couldn't you pull a frame out of the video instead of having to time the screenshot? I don't know if Zoomlin Wafers is actually good, but I was definitely excited when I first saw it. I immediately thought of the one thing I ever used it for, which is Bom Barrel Mini Mika. It's almost like you're playing the version where you can play any card in the Crown Phase again.
i could but i'd have to hover the card like i do, which means i'd have to note where in the video i hover the card for the enlarged version, definitely smoother to just grab it as i go
I thought I might watch today's video on my break! Been feeling quite nice today, it was hot, but I pulled through like (in my opinion anyway) a champ! Good to know a year hasn't totally dulled my ability to function in costume outdoors. I'd do my Porkypine counting for the day, but I'm off break very soon you see, and I'd like to finish the video more than I want to count Porkypines. You all understand, I'm sure. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
38:00 see, this right here is the sentiment that I argue against. if you just send it when you see it it's almost always net positive, its not a dead card early if you just yeet it on sight. I totally get the reasoning that there's usually better options and you have to weigh the opportunity cost, I just think its always at least a little bit positive.
if you added zoomlin wafers at the start of every run without giving up anything zoomlin wafers would make your deck very marginally better, but sometimes worse if you miss an important card due to it, like bottom decking snow stick. the issue is that when you click zoomlin wafers there's usually 2 other cards in a pack that you're looking at, and especially early on those 2 other cards are just going to be better for you
@@Voyix I would argue that the amount it makes your deck better is less marginal than the chance of bottom decking something important specifically because of it. and then sometimes it lets you play shit like tinkerson jr. with pengu charm :^)
I do some reverse engineering stuff and Im suddenly very curious about your theory that early charm machines tend to give cheaper/worse charms. Ill do a little digging and if I find anything Ill post it somewhere Edit: for the curious only the charm shop uses prices or tiers for the charms. The charm machines even shop charm machines don’t interact with charm tier at all
Zoomlin Wafers just has insane ceiling cause there's no hand size limit. And people love the power fantasy of like hitting Mini Mika with junk 40 times in one turn 😂 while simultaneously unclogging the hand. Overkill? Yes, but it feels sooooo good! 😅
43:30 but why not play Wafers even without Noomlin there? Playing Storm Globe / Sun Rod / Redraw is an extra turn compared to playing Wafers / Redraw, and you get to play the extra cards. The lost turn and extra cards played don't mean anything because you would've won anyways lol but it would be strictly worse to do the former right?
Zoomlin wafers are so good, if you actually do an in-depth analysis. Sliming down your deck and drawing good cards is only one advantage. The expected value EE of drawing a good card increases as the deck becomes more concentrated with high-value cards. If ViVi represents the value of card ii and PiPi its probability of being drawn, the expected value E(V)E(V) is: E(V)=∑i=1NPi⋅ViE(V)=∑i=1NPi⋅Vi With a smaller deck size N′N′ and increased probabilities Pi′Pi′, E(V′)E(V′) is greater than E(V)E(V), thus maximizing the player's utility UU: U=∑i=1nui(Ci)U=∑i=1nui(Ci) 😉
So this is actually more nuanced, and I like that, but I still think people are forgetting opportunity cost. Yes, zoomlin wafers is usually net positive, or at worst neutral so long as you were going to play one other card in that hand. But the slight upside of playing a few extra random cards is not usually as good as just having another actual impactful card. It can absolutely be worth it with setups that draw the whole deck, or that create a lot of junk, but those are niche. Wildfrost lets you draw at any time, and typically you will have very specific cards that need to be played at specific times, so you will actually end up with situations where zoomlin is a dead card and not actually helping the situation.
I was wondering. What clan has better weapon? Scrappy sword is good, because it can be easily discarded or played nonchalantly. Gear hammer on the over hand can be a dedication type weapon with how it scales on play. But long fights is not that ideal. And tar blades are good self scaling, but do require to have numbers to scale. Otherwise they are no better than a Gunk fruit.
I mean gearhammer is just mathematically better, and tar blade is fine, so its gearhammer which makes sense when you consider that instead of tootoo or rod clunkmasters get sunsong box which is a rock in your deck like, half the time
I just recently watched you getting 8 4 4 barrage hero from clunkers clan 3 months ago. And now I see you picking 7 8 5 aimless. Man, sounds good but aimless makes this hero kind of sad. At least 10 4 5 wasn't that bad. She even got 3 hp on kill, which is not much but it's honest work

Oh my god I love money
Say it with me, I love money, I love money, I love money
big money always give me the hots, in game
I get sad every time you skip Firefist, she is so cool and reminds me of the times that I burnt my hands on my grill
