My Mercedes R350 had the same pedal setting. I use to think I was crazy that it had like this extra inch that you had to mash down on and it would really jump up in power.

That “acceleration button” is a kick-down switch that puts you in the best gear. You’ll most likely never use it if you’re shifting manually with paddles/shifter.

@@mrgilamonyet mine is a 2010 e93 328i with 115,790 miles and it's an absolute dream to drive especially with the hardtop convertible!! Ive owned it since the first day it came out in late 2009. Bought it new with 37 miles. It's not without its faults but still once you get over those common e90 generation issues, your car is golden for another decade of driving! I only had to change an O2 senor, shaft sensor, and the cylinder head cover in over a decade!
The E46 sedan looks better than an E90... But the E92 coupe looks better than a E46 coupe. It's a drop dead gorgeous car. If they weren't so heavy, I'd have one. (even though I hate the E92 turn signals, I hate the E46 climate control more) Hey Zach, if you can find a Manual 2002-05 Lexus IS300 to drive, I recommend it. It's the closest thing to a RWD Nissan Skyline we got in the US.
i think its a coin toss between e46 coupe and e92. i do like the form factor and the wheel arches of the e46 coupe a bit more but it's harder to get a well maintained one at this point in time (2022) so going with an E92 is overall the better option. i'd have a super clean e46 330i coupe with nice rims oder an e92 325 or 330i. where i would go for the E92 vs the E46 is with the M3. nothing beats that V8.
The reason the steering feels heavy on that car is that it more than likely doesn't have the Driver Assisted Steering option. I have it on my E92 and the steering is very light, quick and reactive at low speeds and gets heavier as you get more aggressive. I wouldn't buy one without it. My friend has one without it and it feels like you're driving with under inflated tires. Very heavy.

@@th3orist honestly…we all know the “if it’s too good to be true…” well in this case it was the exception to the rule. The interior is immaculate. It looks better than cars half it’s age. ZERO flags on the diag with my Veepeak. The only flaw is the washer fluid container. is messed up but that is a price I can live with. Drives like it’s on rails! However, I am replacing the front headlight housing to upgrade to Angel Eyes. It’s honestly a safety thing. The current headlights are just too damn dull and in daylight, I guess where it’s silver and low to the ground, I have to dodge my way out of no less that 5 car accidents because people just didn’t see me. Well by god, they’ll see those blazing halos staring at them.

zach thanks but i own a 2007 328xi and you do not have to put key in key slot ,,, to start car, you can have it in pocket. and it will start .... maybe my fob was programed to do so, there are so many things more it will do that mines not doing yet
If you push the turn signal n it clicks it would stay on until u turn if it dosent click then I would either flash once or three times depending on how your setting is
Ha! I didn't catch it, but I'll have to re-watch that part. Just fixed that exact issue on my E90 a few days ago. Gasket was completely flattened! Edit: watched it back. Yep! Looks very familiar LOL Luckily for me it wasn't the oil filter housing gasket, but just the cap gasket.

Majapan yeah I almost didn’t get the car because my gfs whole family called me dumb lol but I didn’t care and went with the car I wanted. I got a pre purchase inspection and I found that the oil pan gasket needed to be replaced and my mechanic did it for $380, that was the only problem besides I might have a leaf in my ac motor blower but I can fix that myself.
Your opinion on the backseat surprised me. These cars have absolutely no room in the backseat, I don’t mind it but I’m 5,8 and with my driving position I barely fit behind the seat.
You can run it without the key I do mine all the time you have to start the car then take it out only thing I like about my Infiniti g35 better just need it in my pocket or close
uh that engine bay does not look clean at all. this brown leather is one of my favorites from bmw. another one that i never thought i would like until i was actually sitting and testdriving a car that had one is the red leather interior. on photographs it looks way brighter than it is in reality. i fell in love with it the moment i opened the door
2008 BMW 328 Xi, AT... I'll start with what I don't like about it: Automatic Transmission - Made by GM Door Chime - it's fucking annoying! Door handles - cheap plastic feel Door - they feel very light and flimsy Tires - fucking stupid run flat crap Car Jack / spare tire - fucking missing Aerodynamic - poor airflow, very noisy Cup holders - over engineered crap Trunk opening - very narrow Steering - very hard feeling Turn signal - very annoying as you mentioned OBD port - Very stupid location, I wish I would keep a Bluetooth Reader all the time in without being noticed. Things that I like about it: I'm glad it's my girlfriend's and I own an Audi!
He has no real in depth knowledge. Yes they were great with the 6's BUT faltered in the early 2000's with motors that died really early. Time chain issues etc. not to mention all those growing pans of stuffing electronics into cars before the tech is ready. As a guy who had so many BMW's from the 80's through early 2000's I saw the trend for young kids to skip or trade in the Hondas for BMWs and not really know much about them in real detail other than the general religion that is preached.

Looks like your friend has a oil leak around his oil filter housing. I like the wheels.

E9X 328’s do not have turbos. The 335 is the only turbo option from this body style. The E9X M3’s have a N/A V8.
