Hi, for those with milk foam issue, try to clean manually enter milk dispenser. I had the same issue, and couldn't make decent foam for 1 year. But in the beginning, when device was new foam was very nice. Then, I was in a Nespresso shop, asking for new milk dispenser, seller told I have to clean it always after using it. I've explained that Im doing it, and showed her how. While she was laughing a little, she showed me the trick, and the most important thing I didn't do, like never. The button on the dispenser that releases the transparent milk cup, also release the plug that goes to the machine. So keep pressing the button and pull that nossel out. If you never done that, you'll see a milk residue that needs to be cleaned. Also opening it helps you clean entire dispenser much easier. Just wash it under tap. After doing this, my milk foam was good like when I first try to make cappuccino. Hope this will help everyone who made the same mistake like I did.
I love mine, and I don’t know what people are complaining about, I use almond milk and it works great, it makes a lot of foam and froth, and it’s too hot to drink right away
I think the foaming of the milk has to do with the milk you’re using.
Just put a cup when cleaning the milk system so the water won’t go everywhere 🙄
But don’t you think it should be better designed so as not to spray it all over my counter?🧐
@@ErinLawrenceTV All coffee machines are designed to have a container underneath to clean it. I bet if you check the manual it will ask you to do so 😁
@@snowywolf6754agreed. It's like letting the hose spew wherever! 😂
Love your sincere review. Thanks!
Thanks for watching 😊
This review is the most accurate i have it but lucky for me. I dont use foam fhst much also a down thing that the milk for me sometimes it has smoke idk why is that but when it works I actually like it but sometimes it doesn’t
Thank you.
I have an older version of this machine, the Latissima +, and the milk function works great! I use 1% Milk, could that be the problem?
the more fat, the better for frothing. whole milk is best
Nice video Erin, thanks
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Website says you can use any milk.
My Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista doesn't have those milk problems, but you should put a cup in the machine for cleaning the milk container. I have to do that with my Mr. Coffee too.
what about Espressor Tchibo Cafissimo milk? Is it worth?
Hi there, thanks for the informative video! Can I ask what process you went through to start the milk nozzle cleaning? It seems that no-one else on the internet knows… ; )
Did you find any solution for this? My ‘clean’ button always lights orange despite how many times i’ve cleaned it
@@tanyamirza1976it’ll light clean after each use, if you get the gran Lattissma there’s a rinse function instead.
Honest reviews.
I have a Delongi lattisimo touch which has six buttons. I agree about the milk frother is not that good and really only adding slightly hot milk. They are not suitable for large coffee mugs as it comes out too weak if you have to put the coffee through two cycles. The milk spout on mine is adjustable so it goes where you aim it too. My machine has a rinse button on top of the frother which puts hot water through to flush out the milk in the machine. The cleaning light comes on after you have made one coffee but you can ignore that if you are making several cups and flush it after the last one. I do not put the milk frother components in the dishwasher but pull it all apart and wash it in the sink with warm water and a little detergent and rinse and leave it to dry on the drainer. I feel the heat of a dishwasher would damage the components over time. While probably a 7/10 it still quick and easy way to enjoy a coffee at home without the cost and the space required for a professional barista style machine. 🤗

@@ErinLawrenceTV Hi Erin,
I’ve been toying with the idea of refilling pods or using refillable ones. Maybe you could do a video on this?
You are very cute btw. 🤗
So would you recommend it if you picked up a brand new one for $52 usd? 😊I agree the 399 usd price tag is ridiculous but if you can get one for cheap I’d say it’s worth it. As for the issue you have with the milk not frothing I found that whole milk works better than the 3% you had and there is a trick to using milk alternatives with this machine (paper towel between the milk canister and the machine sensor) 😊
Great tips, thank you! And yes!
whole milk works best confirmed!
Very good...
Oat milk Works really good
give a photo of milk if you have good milk foam🙏
Very nice review! Too bad that the milk function doesn’t work very well!
Thanks Dan.
I use this same machine and the milk function works very well, I guess it depends on which kind of milk you use
You're using the wrong milk if use the correct milk it would foam up and get really hot I have the same machine
Oh, thanks!
Will having a separate Frother work better than the built in one? I’m thinking between this one or essenza mini
The essenza mini is the one I own. In the past I’ve just used a handheld wand like this one to froth milk amzn.to/3UNbA0L
@@ErinLawrenceTV oh okay much appreciated
Do you like it more than pixie ?
Nope. Pixie is great. But my keeper is the Essenza Mini.
I thought I was doing something wrong. I have had Gran Lattissima machine for 2 years now and have not been able to make good milk foam☹️
:(
Try using skim or 2%. Lower fat generally = better foam.
😍
no expresso
I got foam in mine no problem
Why wouldnt it work with Oat milk?
It would work with any milk. The frothing ability would depend on milk used but at the end of the day the taste of the coffee is what we want. 🤗
has anyone found a reusable pod for this machine yet??
Most online retailers have one but amazon is most likely to have the best variety of reusable pods 😊
Yes in Amazon
You do a latte cafe not cappucino , no ? You not push the right button
Did you just speak a whole sentence in Italian?
That milk is trash. Get a regular espresso machine, waste about 3 months of your life until you perfect foam. You’ll be the life of all parties.
Wrong milk.
🧐
Yes for sure
