could do another test exactly this like but split the two spouses into identical rooms with identical children. ofc may have to have Bob leave his work for said test

I play with walls up to admire the literal hours of work i spent decorating but I also spend 90% of the time decorating and less time playing with the actual sims
When i did this it was the opisite! Bob did everything! Including work. Eliza got addicted to video games

A lot of fathers thinks that going to work excludes them from taking care of the child, they don't even remember the birthday of their own child but " i pay the bills 🤓". Obviously not all are like that but is sad how common it is 😢

this is why i couldnt play the pancakes anymore. i had gotten a notification that they had adopted a baby, Lonny. the baby had no crib, nowhere to sleep, so they left him in the bathroom on the floor upstairs. he cried and cried. then he became a toddler, same thing, he cried and cried and no one would do anything for him. my sim household that was visiting, i added the baby to my family and raised with my own children. it was heartbreaking to watch, i couldnt just leave the poor thing there.

The pancake family is the worst in so many ways lol
Sorry but I find it a quite silly to blame sims for that given game's limitations and constant bugs. For example for the longest time had a bug that after trying to pick up the infant both my sim and infant would freeze, and I had too literally reset them to brake them out of it, which made feeding infants completely impossible (thank mod Gods for UI cheets extenton). When it comes to lack of baby stuff it is on you boo, because sims literly have no power to modify their house on their own. Also if kid made it to toddlerhood and wasn't snatched by social workers they apparently did SOMETHING, which without any kid furniture, which as I mantions they CAN"T buy on their own, is as good as they can get. Also if they stayed as an unplayed household they were 100% fine since it kinda frezes sims satisfaction and needs, but in this state they aren't most proficient at... well anything, so I still don't see how it was Pancake's fault.
@aquamarina5216 Great point made, but even with gitches and shit, it's still fun to see the experiment play off on it's own. But yes, the stupid game is to blame here, Not the sims

Idk what you're talking about but you can control how much they take care of themselves. I have mine set to if I'm not playing the other Sims in the household they take care of themselves. I haven't seen much of a problem with that setting. In fact sometimes it's hard to get them to listen to me when I want to make them do something.
Makes me wanna play this family and divorce bob and take the kid lol 😂

If some items get selected by the Toddler (select Toddler, and select an/the item(s), they can ask the parent/caregiver to, example, switch on the TV for them. Anyway, that was a cute moment 😊. Take good care, and all.

This reminded me when I was playing The Sims 4 on Xbox one I had this sim named Mason he was so respectful and mature to the point he take care of trash without me doing anything 😂😳

In the sims 4 days is 1hr 36 mins at normal speed.
I used get irritated when my electricity got shut off for the day until I realised the 12hrs they couldn’t have it was just 12 minutes for me. 😅

Jhonny Zest is a good father. My sim had one baby with a radom guy, one baby with Jonny's father and an accidental baby with Jhonny himself. Jhonny raised the 3 kids alone while my sim was getting rich in another city.

@@simbellaz That's the idea, mom dad and 6 kiddos. Vary the age of the kiddos as you want. But you can only control one Toddler you can vary the diffuculty by having a teen help to make it easier, or if you want it more difficult, add infants.

Interesting. I had one of my sims marry a Tom Pancake the first born son of the Pancakes and then I saw Bob and Eliza had twins after him.

Probably the long middle-high school relationship that only works in school, but since they've never dated anyone else, they don't have enough experience and just go along with it after they turn into adults.
Unpopular opinion I kinda like both Pankaces and usually in my game they make a pretty good couple, can't remember even one time when they divorced, and I usually don't play with them that much, besides some set dressing at the beginning of the save (I like to set up families the way that I like before I start real game with my own sims) so it's all on them. Also from what I've noticed in my game they usually get "opposites attract" sentiment, so it seems that dispte everything it works out for them, at least in my game. But what's funny is that if I don't add Iggy they usually live their best child-free life because at lest one of them doesn't want kids ( have a mod). No shame to anybody who breaks them up though, I understand and respect it, though in my game I usually do it to Goths, which isn't that difficult since Bella naturally gravitates towards Don.

elisa pancake in my save file just randomly died. I wanna know what happened? How can i get to know? Also, the vampire siblings have a kid and moved out 😭 they still walk around as townies but i cant see which house they moved in anywhere 😢
@nanfahkg1601 For the sims moving out and about, try turning off "Neighborhood Stories" in settings (I believe that's what it's called)
By trying to figure out how Eliza died.. if you can find her tombstone, try somehow to make her appear, shift-click on her and say Modify in CAS with the "testingcheats" cheat enabled. Go to the option of occults and see there if you can figure out her cause of death :)

@ i found the answer. She was electric shocked. She and Bob have 2 kids, and Bob has no job right now. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 And the vampire siblings adopt kid and a cat then moved to the desert map. bro just dont fear dead anymore.

I saw someone else do this with like 4-5 sime but it was for a sims year or something. and what happened you may ask? Oh you know
90% of the sims died,cps came for practically everyone except the most neglected child,a BUNCH of cheating and neglect,divorces and marriages....what did I learn? give your sims pacific traits if you don't want total disaster

10:53 When you say it erased their kid, do you mean in older saves? Because if you mean in newer saves, you have to add their kid from the gallery. The first thing I usually do with a new save is switch out the Pancakes in the game for the ones from the gallery. I recently learned that the ones on the gallery have no relationship, so I re-add that they are married and make Iggy their son. Second thing is usually make Johnny related to the Landgraabs, but that is unrelated to this point.
Now, if you do mean that it is getting rid of a pre-established child in older saves, that’s not cool.
@StoryGirl83 No, see i didn't know that Iggy was still in the gallery, I actually just thought it erased Iggy (the "save" from in which Iggy was born into the pancakes family) that's why I said "I don't know" after talking about that.. cause I never just want to make claims that something I say, IS so😅
@ Gotcha. Then the good news is, if you want him back for anything you can find him on the gallery under Maxis’s account.
you should really update ui cheats extension... that will fix your glitched events window xD

This video is a perfect example of why Bob is a waste of space and Eliza is the best of the two. Everyone says Bob is depressed, but if you were left to clean a house by yourself and raise a kid alone while your husband wallowed away in filth, wouldn't THAT be a more depressing existence!

At times, Elisa looks like she is trying to give birth, but she's not pregnant? I've played the Sims 4 long enough to recognize the animation, so I don't think that it is my imagination. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it. LOL. It happened twice when she was near the highchair. LOL. It happened once around the time stamp of 640...

I wonder if it's a thing for Sims children to go to their mothers first and how it would be different for other families (eg Hecking/Tinker/etc) because my sims kids always seem to autonomously go to their mothers 😅

I wonder if everyone all around the world refers to the children as little ones. I refer to children as little ones, and I'm from the USA. Simbellaz is from Africa, I believe, and she refers to children as little ones. It would be interesting if many different nationalities use the same terminology, even if it is a different language. Hym?
@markdicristofaro904 Good question actually, whether I'm South-African or not, we all learn terminology from other nationalities.. i do atleast. There's also alot of afrikaans terms we use (afrikaans people speaking english, like me) that's derived from other languages.
