- we used a random number generator to roll 2 numbers and those numbers decided the size of EVERY room in our build in The Sims 4. this time fate said “make it smol.”

I always love making head canons for Sims builds so headcanons:
- One parent is an interior decorator, the other an architect. They built and designed this all. Total power couple.
- The teen was totally into cutesy stuff, but is in her rebellious phase. One day she will discover pastel goth and she will be fulfilled.
- The parents totally know the teen is sneaking out. Who do you think made sure that window could open, and that the trellis could hold a person? They just know she wants some space and know that if anything was truly wrong, she'd let them know.
- As a baby, the toddler would always fall asleep outside, and they realized it was because he loved cloud-gazing. They redecorated his room accordingly and he's slept through the night ever since.

So basically, these are some of the best parents ever, that know their children whilst also giving them space to be themselves 😊😊 I love these parents already because they did/they're doing such a great job and I think they should know it

Tip for placing trash cans, if you don't have room for one, put in a dishwasher somewhere, size it down and cover it with the trash can. It'll slot under the countertop perfectly and if I remember correctly, it's still fully functional (this works for any decor you want to put under a counter so long as it covers the dishwasher)

I do this when I build tiny houses! I also use the minifridge shoved under a counter in place of a big fridge. Fully functional.
You can also make it a cutting board, put a counter and take a trash can press 9 to bring it up until it shows a little bit (it's also functional just drag it into the cutting board)

Oh my…Do any of you want to guess the amount of mugs added in this build? 5 maybe 6? NO. There was a whopping 12 mugs AND I COULD HAVE MISSED SOME 😂 The amount of detail you guys add is amazing and I love it. I am now the designated mug counter. (Thx for the spelling correction)

I could probably total up the amount of time I’ve played any Sims game throughout my whole life and it would still be less than an hour. And YET this channel is enthralling, the vibes are simply immaculate.

I do build a fair bit in Sims 4--more so than I ever did in any of the other games--but I'm still majorly learning stuff. Mostly I place things how they're programmed to go and deal with it, so all these clever little techniques they're showing really are a revelation. Heh.

At 6:43, to answer your question, I have used it! It reminded me a lot of the little curtains old ladies would have when I was a kid, so I used the kind of beige with blue flowers swatch to line the entire top of a window in a purposefully outdated country home inhabited by an old woman and her grandchild
i LOVE that randomly throughout their videos, they give short little tutorials on how to make your builds better. love them so so much.

This has to be my favorite build yet. I love it so much, and I have to say the back patio makes me want to be sim just so I could be in that house. The trellises disguising the escape trellis is such a good idea, the hot tub and trash can are so good I would honestly believe you if you said they were planned, not even mentioning how the string lights and the lounge chairs just make it look so cozy.
I am absolutely OBSESSED with the toddler copying his older sister and I would LOVE you guys in a live stream I would watch it!😁
I love how fun and cluttered these builds are. With the toddler room there is an actual hanging cloud light that you could have used.

The window frames and dark wood/white walls combo was giving me such a traditional Japanese house vibe, the rooms also reminded me of the micro apartments in Japan and Korea and I feel like the decorating and interior would fit in well too. in my mind this house belongs to a super wealthy business power couple like maybe at one point rival ceos that had an enemies to lovers arch and are now settled down and raising a family but still both work part time, perhaps sacrificing the pent house suit they had for a family house in the suburbs, high property prices and demand meaning that they snatched up this adorable micro mansion with only a 25 minute commute to work AND a garden. they have family meetings with water pictures and PowerPoint presentations, in this essay I will-

I’m not sure if you can do it in the sims, but if possible I think a fun idea would be to go through all of your builds and see what packs you use the least (like top 3 least used or smth) and then try and build a house out of just your least used packs!

Ok hear me out: the teen daughter is the grow up version of the Eldredge chaos baby from their *fixing the ugliest house very* video. Like they still have the bulletin board of where they’ve found her and she still has the light cool theme and adventurous spirit. Also a lot of the elements from the toddlers room are similar like the cloud shelves and moon rug, they were hand me downs. CARE AND CONNIE PLEASE SEE THIS AND MAKE IT CANON!!!!

As someone who has watched way too many roleplay series in Sims 4, I completely agree, there is so much potential and these houses don't look like regular old cookie cutter houses that people use in roleplay videos most of the time. Hehe

there IS a cloud wallpaper! kind of. in the parenthood pack, that themed wallpaper we got, there's a swatch thats blue with a strip of white clouds around the middle of the wall. i use it constantly for nurseries and kids rooms. the cloud wallpaper you made was cute as heck too though
