Darryl's been here for a few years now, it's time to really judge him. This off season is all about Daryl Morey. He created cap space and decided to basically not improve last season's team in order to go big this off season. No excuses, he had better come through. I've always believed this was the worst offseason for his plan as there was really no major FA other than LBJ and we know he wasn't coming to Philly.
IMHO, he is not going to get it done. As if he is going to land Butler or George. Not to mention, he is ready to bail on Buddy Hield, who never got a chance to play with Embiid enough due to his injury. Buddy was DNP for three games vs. Knicks then played game six and scored 20 points. They need to re-sign him, get rid of Cam Payne.
I think they should keep buddy and Payne. You can’t get players that already want to be elsewhere. Og wanted to stay and bridges wanted New York and no where else. Philly just need competent players around Embiid and maxey. A few ten points per game players who are consistent will make a world of difference

This dude Morey does not work for the fans… he works for the owners. The owners mostly care about Daryl maintaining enough interest in the team to keep the stadium full. He doesn’t want to take chances or put the owners in the luxury tax. He also has a terrible reputation amongst players and other GMs in the league. I prefer Elton Brand in this role… he made the wrong moves, but he took chances… and I’ve learned to appreciate that

This kid could hit some big shots like a Deuce Mcbride who killed us last year need that off the bench a guy who can consistently splash it when open and not hesitant at the 16th pick thats all you can hope for a quality guy who can contribute when their number is called and as a younger star shooting is the easiest route to effect a game when your superstars kick you an open shot..
