Great video. I've created a bunch of drawing list using the sheet set manager. But I always have to go back in and manually make my title and header with underline. Is there a way to do this in settings? I did not see anything under modify.
Usually we have bigger and complex drawing list with a lot of formatting. I like to create this linked sheet list and then copy the sheets to another table. When you do this, the update link function works on the copied table It's a bit hard to format the sheet list table style
Ya that definitely works well too! I tend to do a similar process for larger or more complicated drawing lists that need additional info like revision, phases and different disciplines. But the general process of setting them up is mostly similar. Thanks for watching and the comment!! Cheers, Brandon
Hey, ya you could make that work. Either with a bit of customization to the table using fields/formula that reference your sheet set attributes, Or simply naming and numbering the sheets like that in the sheet set, ie one sheet called Typical sections with the number being 3 - 8.
Our drawing list for a project must only contain the sheets that are being issued for that issuance. We then place this list on the cover sheet in AutoCAD. How do you "hide" sheets from the list if they are not being issued? I don't want to remove them from the sheet set manager, only not list them in the list.
Hey Brandon, I am just starting with autocad only i run into 2 problems: 1: when zooming in closer my hole screen turns grey, i can not see the drawing anymore. 2: when drawing a line a big white cirkel is around my cursor this way i cannot exactly see where i am drawing. i have been searching the whole internet for this answer so i hope you can help me. Excellent tip Brandon. It's worth a 2nd and 3rd watch. Thanks

In Auto CAD do you have any tips on how to create a sheet set on a Mac?
For model space it will work?
THANKS
Thanks
Thank you for sharing this vid! But "Insert Sheet List Table" is not highlighted for me to choose after creating my sheet list. What do I do fix this?
Try it again in paper space, not model space
Can this dynamic table work with ranges of sheets? For example, 1-Cover, 2-Notes, 3 thru 8-Typical Sections, 9 thru 20-Plans & Profiles, etc.
