The philosophy is radically different. Apple Music is artists oriented, Spotify is user oriented. Open AM and Spotify side to side, search for one artist (for example Banks) and see what’s on display. Spotify’s first is “Donation”, then “Popular”, then Popular again, then a bunch of playlists (more or less related), similar artists you might like. AM highlights “Last release”, the top songs, the album collection, the videos, playlists related to, singles and ep, AM radio shows and interviews, then similar artists. the reason for apple music it's playlist is not accurate is because maybe you turn off some feature that allow to track your activity in the apple music but in the spotify app you can't turn this off or on because it is being used for you and the reason for apple music being turned off is because of privacy for me i like it being turned off than it is tracking me for what i do or listen to.
I just moved to Apple Music this week because my Spotify account kept getting hacked.. 3 times in the last year. I'm a playlist person and yes, Spotify is waay better at that but I'd take mediocre playlist management over a breach in security all day lol
I downloaded apple music honestly for it's shorcut capabilities but no.... just no! How are they going to make you go into a small three-pointed menu just for like a f..... song? seriously? and their play on albums vs. songs in your "songs" list just didn't vibe with me.... felt very very foreign. It's as if they're trying to do so much and in the meanwhile forget the small stuff like hey lemme like these songs easily which is like the biggest thing any music app has.... Spotify, Tidal, Sound Cloud, does apple not do this because they like being different? Got my three months subscription and canceled it within two hours of playing with the interface.

Spofity is best for me handsdown since apple music only highlights english music interms of recommendations for western users. As an indian i would like to all types of music. So the spotify recommendations are the best out there doesnt matter where you are from
I love Apple Music but I find it hard to leave RUclips music just because of how many songs it only has, plus you can’t sort your playlists by most recent
2:59 wallpaper????
Did you know about Mus Conv service?
the reason for apple music it's playlist is not accurate is because maybe you turn off some feature that allow to track your activity in the apple music but in the spotify app you can't turn this off or on because it is being used for you and the reason for apple music being turned off is because of privacy for me i like it being turned off than it is tracking me for what i do or listen to.
Changed since mid 2018, never had a thought of going back to spotify.
I just moved to Apple Music this week because my Spotify account kept getting hacked.. 3 times in the last year. I'm a playlist person and yes, Spotify is waay better at that but I'd take mediocre playlist management over a breach in security all day lol
Who hacks a spotify account and why??
@@ChristinaMagma right?? Apparently it happens a lot though...
Does anyone use both?
God bless you your family and your friends you have a wonderful fantastic awesome bless safe day enjoy the rest of your day 🙏
Spotify is ancestry based recommendations and it's awesome 😊 every time
Is Apple Music Downloading offline free? Or do we have to pay like Spotify Premium
apple music
does not have a free plan
You *imply* that you don't regret using Apple Music over the years, but you don't give any explicit answers. Kind of frustrating considering the title you use. Wish you would be more clear at the end. Thanks for the smiles!
ive been using apple music for a year now and i dont regret it because it works so much better on apple watch. so while im using apple products i cant even think on switching back to spotify fr
even tho i do think spotify is better overall. apple ecosystem got me trapped lol
50K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it, it's so crazy haha
I use both but I use Apple Music more.
If you only use apple ecosystem then yes but other than that Spotify works with everything.
My favorite streaming services is Apple music, but I still like Spotify and tidal

Fair point, BUT Spotify literally left Android behind. Android users have been waitng for the new UI (which IOS users have) for more than a year, and nothing. I have an IOS and Android device too, and the Android Apple Music experience is okay, but Spotify is just terrible. It's slow, it's ugly and simple features are missing....
Its quite funny how they only care about IOS users lol.
Yung Lean 🙌
Apple music hifi. Can't wait
I’m waiting the Apple Music HiFi and have no intention to switch to Spotify.
Sadboy & deadboy spotted
Another benefit of Apple Music is Apple Music has much higher quality audio.
I like Apple Music but I don’t get how people listen to non lossless music
I use apple music because I think it's cheaper
I checked your video because I'm switching to Apple Music after Spotify's last patent acquisition...
Do as you want but that feature is not enabled yet, at least not here in India
@@summerslider2487 It is possible that the feature never gets implemented, but I think the acquisition itself disrespectful.
@@GuilhermeTeixeira sure. Can understand
You literally can’t use the free version of Spotify. It sucks to the core with the endless barrage of Adverts! Ridiculous. Finding music is much much more easier on Apple Music.
In my personal use, I hate Spotify... It doesn't work well with all my devices including iPhones and android. RUclips music is superior in terms of convenience because all music videos are there and I can instantly click Video and Music back and forth. Apple Music however is like awesome music player and feels tailored for me. So yeah YT Music and Apple Music only for me...
Deezer Master Race lol
Since I've gone all Apple in my device portfolio Apple music has become the only thing I use. I mostly listen to albums although on rare occasions I'll listen to a playlist that i've put together but theirs not many of those
Love from India 🇮🇳 ✌️.
we stick to *IBITGEN. COM* !!
and rest, was history.
"0:16"
the only thing i don't like about apple music is that you can't follow artists
SESH
I enjoy your videos. But can you please stop telling us how your a digital minimalist
David Coady no
I'm the only one who is listening music for free here from Samsung music app 😂 paying for food and in the future for air is necessary .. but for music !!! Please people this world needs to change
spotify>
I switch from spotify to yt music just because yt ads just to annoying
Do you regret switching from Papa John’s to Dominos ?
So basically Apple Music is for people with money
Of course you must regret because Spotify clear winner the best better than Apple music shit...my S21 Ultra and iphone 11 pro max both using Spotify
#5 years I'm using Spotify
harry potter?
What the hell is on my screen.. 😒
Spotify is so much better
Why Apple Music? Better ui and lyrics. That's it.
Why Apple music? Simplycity, UI and Sounds better than mainstream streaming platform 🔥
Need that wallpaper without the Apple Music logo.
Apple Music work so bad on old iphones!
yes and heats up the phone (iphone 6s)
LMAOOO same for me, Endless was the main reason
Apple Music is just frustrating to use and is the second most annoying thing I’ve seen after the iCloud service 🤦♂️
Sad for you. Good for me
I agree. I had good reasons to switch to Apple Music, but it's amful to use on iTunes and their website is terrible. Going back to Spotify.
6th comment :") 👍
Haha thanks for the support
Ok so ur an apple fan boy.....cool
I left Apple Music because of how difficult it was to quickly add the song I hear to my library. On Spotify I can do that just by pressing the heart button. This is dealbreaker for me. Plus the recommendations are just too good and its like Spotify knows what I wanna hear.
Or you can swipe left to add to favorite, and swipe right to add to queue, which is awesome
@@NhungBui-vu2hb definitely. Small things make all the difference.
@@NhungBui-vu2hb I actually liked the swipe features better in Apple Music. Queue next, queue last and add to library, download (if I remember correctly)
But I’m back to Spotify bc of the integrations, windows app, and just the fact that it’s more like a radio
What I think is weird is that the swipe gestures in Spotify seem to only be present on iOS devices? Cuz my android friends can’t swipe. That’s so weird
hi first :D (also you are the most underrated person i've ever seen)
Haha thanks for the support!
Honestly
