Ps2 was not very powerful, the graphics in this game are still impressive but Gamecube or Xbox could have made it look way better, a good proove of this is comparing Resident Evil 4 Gamecube and ps2 version

I love this battle. I thought it was epic and kinda hilarious at the same time that they made the Colossus of Rhodes a boss fight, as that was a real statue in Rhodes. They started construction in 292 BC and finished in 280 BC, and it stood for 54 tears until it collapsed in an earthquake in 226 BC. The Rhodians did not rebuild it because they feared that they had offended Helios.
Because optimization would always do like 100 times the difference of the hardware. A 2024 low end PC with 2-4 gb of ram would even struggle having that much action on screen despite having the better hardware.

He has beaten ares zeus Kronos hercules hermes hepheastus Athena loads of hard enemies the minotaur a godamn god from another realm so yeah I think he can easily beat thor. Also this start is badly designed. They made I'd with a lot of pressure from time deadlines.
And Kratos fell for the obvious trap as if he doesn't know that Zeus can transform into an large eagle, he really is a fool but he's still a badass in my book and one of my favourite videogames' protagonists
Actually he thought eagle was Athena, because later in the game when Zeus calls out to Kratos, Kratos states he does not need his help before Zeus could even say anything, also Kratos would not expect help from an enemy. As for Colossul's hand falling yes Kratos became very arrogant and he did not even see that comming.

I remember playing this specific Level when i sneaked into my Dad’s brothers room and playing this game on his PS2. After that i never saw this game again until now

He has beaten ares zeus Kronos hercules hermes hepheastus Athena loads of hard enemies the minotaur a godamn god from another realm so yeah I think he can easily beat thor. Also this start is badly designed. They made I'd with a lot of pressure from time deadlines.

@@bouno3824 . That's only because Kratos was in his younger years. He is still strong in GOW 5 of course, but not AS strong as before.

And Kratos fell for the obvious trap as if he doesn't know that Zeus can transform into an large eagle, he really is a fool but he's still a badass in my book and one of my favourite videogames' protagonists
As long as the cutscene where he got squashed is forgotten. Which will it never will be, cuz its the most hilarious scene ever
Actually he thought eagle was Athena, because later in the game when Zeus calls out to Kratos, Kratos states he does not need his help before Zeus could even say anything, also Kratos would not expect help from an enemy.
As for Colossul's hand falling yes Kratos became very arrogant and he did not even see that comming.
That BGM is against Kratos which makes fight more epic.
we want a real remastered of grafhics and quality!
Why not make something similar but new instead of just rehashing and remastering old stuff?

i still remember my brothers and i going to gamestop cause they had the demo and this was the fight we played, we saved up to get this game when it came out and man it was so worth it
