I've been with you since you started the channel, Mary, and I'm so glad you're back doing movies. Great job on making it through this one. We all know how much you love a good horror, lol.
Good to see you back doing movies, sorry for the copyright issues you've been facing. Hope to see more movie reactions coming soon! And well done for lasting through The Conjuring :)
I thought it was all in my imagination, SO HAPPY to see you back doing movies(!). You were missed! I don't know how other's don't get as much in the claims department, especially with the amount they show. Maybe a slight watermark over the movie? Or at least making it a bit transparent. I've seen so many of those from really strict film houses and yet they're still up. Good luck however you tackle it, Mary :)
0:39 lol so generous to your community 3:03 Thanks for the translation 10:05 no, it was a great idea lol 11:10 the “I take it back” comment had me laughing One of my favorite horror movies. Thanks for putting yourself through it even though it was tough. Enjoyed the reaction as usual.
I haven't been watching your reactions due to not having seen the television series you've been doing. I hope you'll be able to continue with movies again but I can understand why you'd set that aside with the issues you've been having. You're my favorite reactor and this was a great one!
Thank you for torturing yourself for our benefit! I love all of your reactions and I really appreciate the effort you put into making these available. Your videos always brighten my day ❤
I'm sure you'll be very excited to know that there's a whole series of films that are loosely linked to this one known as the CONJURING UNIVERSE... All more scarier than the other. 😁 Were's the list on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Conjuring_Universe
That doll is in the Warren's house. Very close to my town. They did a talk at our local college with all the photos and tapes they got from investigations like this one.
I used to love watching Lorraine Warren on an older ghost hunting show that used to be on ( she makes a cameo in this movie, btw). Ed and Lorraine were headed off to Amityville to investigate the Amityville Horror house in Long Island right after this case
I’m so happy that you’re reacting to this movie. IMO, this and the Exorcist are the top 2 scariest movies of all time. Followed closely by Anabelle: Creation.
Awww you did so well! I hope at least next halloween you watch the second one, theyre such good movies. Theres always heart and emotion along with the scares.
I wonder how well Mary would do if she did a haunted house for Halloween in the U.S. Not the "real" haunted houses but the ones set up in October you walk through and people are hiding waiting to scare you.
I went to the theatre with a girl to see this one, and I was the one who was the most scared of the two. She ended up hugging me halfway through the movie. 😆😁
For a horror film recommendation: Flatliners with Keifer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon and Julia Roberts. It’s got scary parts but is more about redemption. Like the haunting of hill house explores, our “ghosts” and what haunts us are our remorse and guilts from our past. For a true (crime) story: In Cold Blood. Several scenes filmed on the actual site of the crimes.
4:20 Is the house on a discount? Listen, as long as ghost pay their fair share of the mortgage/rent, I am more than happy to get a little jump scared here or there with blood coming out of the walls, noises under my bed, etc. I would rather not have children laughter at the end of the corridor, but if the discount is large enough...
The old and the remake of Amityville Horror. Base on true story also. Definitely worth the watch Ryan Reynolds is in the remake od Amityville Horror movie
I am from Rhode island and in 2020 my friend wanted me to watch her house while she took her kids and husband to Disney, i was down the street from the Conjuring house, just know all the lights were on 😅 the 3 days i was there
I would vote for The Conjuring 2, and that's it. All of the Annabelle movies and The Nun and the Nun 2 are complete fabrications, made up using characters from the first 2 Conjuring movies.
This movie scared me, and I'm a grown man. Was scared to walk through the house that evening. Amazing that this seemingly happened to someone, albeit with some Hollywood embellishment.
What helped me with this movie was right after the dog incident to imagine that not the Perrons would have move in, but John Wick instead. Very different movie then...
Mary you get a big atta girl for powering through this movie. This is about as scary of a movie that ive ever watched. Sometimes i think they tell us its based on a true story just to add to the fright, i dont know, just me hoping its not really true i guess. Anyway, to help you get over this might i suggest a nice not scary movie called Harry and the Hendersons from the 80s, its about bigfoot.....lol. But its a family movie, a comedy adventure i guess you could say. It just popped into my head when thinking what would be a nice anti to this movie. Have wonderful Halloween...😅 and enjoy all those little ghosts and goblins if you have those in Belgium. ❤ from fla usa
Although it’s based on a true story, the actual story is way less impactful. However, the home is now a historic landmark for both American History and paranormal history.
Women,100 percent gay here but you look stunning and healthy and your dimples are amazing. And like I said, I’m gay not hitting on you. I just want to let you know that you are gorgeous.
Isnt it a shame that a man cannot even compliment a beautiful woman on her dimples anymore without being treated like a creep? And then women wonder why men just keep quiet and dont even acknowledge their existence anymore. Its not worth the public shaming to be nice to them. But i agree with you 1000% that Mary is hot and those eyes and dimples turn guys knees weak. But her sense of humor is the deal closer for me.
Mary, you are one of the best movie reactors on RUclips. 👍👍 If you really don't want to watch horror films, then by all means, don't! I never expect anyone to watch films that they don't like, be it horror films, musicals or whatever. Movies are supposed to be enjoyed - not dreaded. I understand that your subscribers want to see them, but in my opinion, a reaction channel should be pleasant and entertaining for everyone - especially the reactors!
Yeah, the real Warrens didn't have a skeptical bone in their bodies. Their first and only explanation for any phenomena was "Demons!" They were legendary for inserting themselves where they were not welcome, and for grossly overstaying their welcome when they were initially allowed access. In this case Mr Perron actually punched Ed in the face when he would not leave. The Warrens also commissioned writers to just make up stories about their investigations and constantly hovered around the periphery of any case that had media attention and a claimed link to the paranormal. The Warrens in this movie are much nicer, saner and more ethical than the real Warrens ever were.
As fun as these movies are, the Warrens were the only real monsters in these “true stories”. Stoking fears, wrecking families and traumatizing children, just for material to write books and to add stuff to their collection of “paranormal” garbage. Parasitic, emotional vampires those two were.
Great reaction, I'd work with Nancy perron and she always spoke openly about her childhood, sisters and the Warrens. One thing she wanted people to know is that Hollywood watered down the movie from the actual events so it could make it into the theaters
I hope your child never freaks you out like this… my 2 year old niece saw my dead uncle Kevin once twice and she never met him.. she was 2 and she said “oh look it’s uncle Kevin”
Showing a new mother The Conjuring is devious work
Has she done Babadook?
next up Pet Sematary...
I've been with you since you started the channel, Mary, and I'm so glad you're back doing movies. Great job on making it through this one. We all know how much you love a good horror, lol.
you know it's a good scare when the "Godverdomme" comes out lmao.
IM SO PROUD OF YOU!! Great reaction!
THANK YOU!! :D
0:26 "I know that some of you little sadists really enjoy when I record something that hurts my soul"
I've never felt so seen
Little? I feel insulted!
I for one am just very grateful for all the unusual new Dutch words we are all learning! 😊
On behalf of the little sadists, thank you for your service.
"my pain is my gift to youuuu" 😆
Glad you're back to movies.. heck of a first choice back, lol. 😉
No security pillows were harmed in the watching of this movie.
I dont Edward, she was workin them over pretty hard...😂😂😂
Good to see you back doing movies, sorry for the copyright issues you've been facing. Hope to see more movie reactions coming soon! And well done for lasting through The Conjuring :)
We commend your bravery Mary 💀🖤

Way to go Mary! 🙌🏼 You just leveled up 😅 Maybe next year you'll watch the Conjuring 2 😁
0:39 lol so generous to your community
3:03 Thanks for the translation
10:05 no, it was a great idea lol
11:10 the “I take it back” comment had me laughing
One of my favorite horror movies. Thanks for putting yourself through it even though it was tough. Enjoyed the reaction as usual.

Movies with Mary without movies is just Mary.
i am AMAZED at how BRAVE you are! 😳 you POWERED THROUGH this one 😉 thank you for your EXCITING, THRILLING reaction! 👍☺
Thank you for torturing yourself for our benefit! I love all of your reactions and I really appreciate the effort you put into making these available. Your videos always brighten my day ❤
"This is the worst idea i've had in a long time!" omfg I could not stop laughingggg
It's so good to see your movie reactions again. Very entertaining especially the scary ones. Much appreciated. Lol. Lots of luck to you.
L AND O AND L , I have not gotten to laugh like this in a long time ! 😁😆😅😂🤣

Thank you for your "gift", Mary.
Nice work, ma'am!
And thank you.
Face it, you're great to watch scary movies with.
Heavily edited, but still a very fun reaction!... Thank you for suffering through that for our pleasure! 💋
Welcome back to the movies World. Nothing against TV shows but, I prefer movies
Awww you did so well! I hope at least next halloween you watch the second one, theyre such good movies. Theres always heart and emotion along with the scares.
You swearing in German... I giggle every time. Hahaha
I wonder how well Mary would do if she did a haunted house for Halloween in the U.S. Not the "real" haunted houses but the ones set up in October you walk through and people are hiding waiting to scare you.
I love your reactions Mary, you're funny and insightful. I hope you'll be able to continue for many more years despite the difficulties.
I went to the theatre with a girl to see this one, and I was the one who was the most scared of the two. She ended up hugging me halfway through the movie. 😆😁
Yay movies are back
Great to see you back reacting to movies. Hey Mary , who was the guy watching behind you? 👻🤣
This was great Mary!! What a fun scary movie! Great reaction!

The thought of playing hide and clap on that top floor that close to the railing, gave me a new level of fear.
I'm usually not easy to scare. but some of those clips made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!
Insidious would be a good choice to react next. 😁
Love your reactions.
Well done brave Mary! Sorry but I admit I do enjoy when things make you exclaim in Dutch lol
I'm excited about this.. but also guilty.. idk how to feel really.. but if it's wrong, I really don't wanna be right 🤷♀️ 🤷♂️
*(Sees movie title)* Poor Mary!!!
The old and the remake of Amityville Horror. Base on true story also. Definitely worth the watch Ryan Reynolds is in the remake od Amityville Horror movie
Thank you for putting yourself through this 😂 it's a pretty good movie.
Fun fact: the real Lorraine Warren has a small cameo appearance she's setting in the lecture hall ✌️
“My pain is my gift to you…”
Very poor choice of words… 😏
This was funny, looking forward to the other parts of this universe. 😁
This one was a lot of fun. Though I think we need to try and make this one of the most popular videos to incentivise more
"Get Mary to Watch Hereditary" Challenge. Difficulty 11/10
You know it's good when your swearing and I can understand it. Lol
I am from Rhode island and in 2020 my friend wanted me to watch her house while she took her kids and husband to Disney, i was down the street from the Conjuring house, just know all the lights were on 😅 the 3 days i was there
I love it when Mary speaks her own language
Great reaction. I’m looking forward to Mary reacting to the SEVEN SEQUELS in this franchise!!!
I would vote for The Conjuring 2, and that's it. All of the Annabelle movies and The Nun and the Nun 2 are complete fabrications, made up using characters from the first 2 Conjuring movies.
im so sad that i forgot this channel existed. Show reactions i dont get into much
Ngl i got jumpscared when you said "godverdomme"💀
This movie scared me, and I'm a grown man. Was scared to walk through the house that evening.
Amazing that this seemingly happened to someone, albeit with some Hollywood embellishment.
You are a champ Mary. Great Job!
Movie Recommendation: On The Waterfront, with Marlon Brando
What helped me with this movie was right after the dog incident to imagine that not the Perrons would have move in, but John Wick instead. Very different movie then...

This whole universe is worth exploring if you’re up for it. Conjuring II got me worse than this one did and then I saw The Nun 🫣
I would love to see her reaction to Hereditary but I’m not sure she could handle it. It’s one of my favorite horror films.
Although it’s based on a true story, the actual story is way less impactful. However, the home is now a historic landmark for both American History and paranormal history.
Dang, you good Mary? 😂
Mary...another good one is The exorcism of Emily Rose...also marginally based on a true story.
I am sorry to say, but the Schadenfreude was very enjoyable.
Great birthday gift🎈 I’m one of those sadist you mentioned in the intro (sorry)
Happy birthday!🎁
Ahh finally a movie and a good one as well.
The Grudge! Now do the grudge!

Well, you've started in the Conjuring saga. You might as well watch the trilogy. Plus there's the Annabelle movies. teehee
my ex wife is South African. she would swear in Afrikaans when she watched a horror movie..........sounded so much like you 🙂
When I was a child I heard our piano at night. Odd cacophonic tones. Turns out it was our cat walking on the keys.
they were catophonic tones
Thanks, Mary! 😱
I’m a part time paranormal investigator this stuff is 100% real
Except for anything that the Warren's ever said was true.
Lmao
Look up the real Annabel doll. It will make u laugh if u imagine they used that in the film!!!
this movie does have some basis in truth to lol
We love you Mary.
Glad to see you back , let the torture begin !!! lol
As fun as these movies are, the Warrens were the only real monsters in these “true stories”. Stoking fears, wrecking families and traumatizing children, just for material to write books and to add stuff to their collection of “paranormal” garbage.
Parasitic, emotional vampires those two were.
Call the ghostbusters, mary
did that grogu doll give a wink?
You do the best raspberries lol
I'm very happy that you're back to watching movies again, and by the way, can I ask you what zodiac sign you are?
Thanks
I learned some Dutch 😂👻
Good reaction u truly care about us😢 -sadist
more please 🎃
Why does Mary remind me of the actress Cobie Smulders right now? Hmmm . . .
heck yeah
Great reaction, I'd work with Nancy perron and she always spoke openly about her childhood, sisters and the Warrens. One thing she wanted people to know is that Hollywood watered down the movie from the actual events so it could make it into the theaters
