@@BertsBEATS-MDBC thanks a lot Bert. It was a lot of fun to make and using a new type prehistoric tool is really awesome way to experience the way it way done generation ago.
Indiginous people's of the Philippines are believed to have created the fire piston we know today. Rudolf Diesel is believed to have possibly seen a fire piston in a museum and gave him the idea for his compression engine. Of course we will never really know. As far how indiginous people's figured out compression/ignition probably by chance reaming out a bamboo tube with a wood plunger and the dust and shavings from bamboo ignited.

Very cool, Lorenzo 😊
Thanks! 😃
Wonderful. Now I know how to start a fire in the wilderness. What we need to know is how to make camp coffee with no electric.
