He’s a narcissist. They normally behave this way because they are able to control their children more when they are younger. Kody can’t manipulate his older children into who he wants them to be or act the way he wants them too, as easily as he can with the younger children . That loss of control makes the narc revert back to the younger children to pit them against the older ones and to cause jealousy.
If Marry had to divorce Kody just so he could adopt Robin's kids, why didn't Robin act as selfessly and divorce Kody after the adoption and encourage him to remarry Mary? If he didn't want to remarry her then the fair thing would have been to be legally married to none. The family was started by Marry and Kody and Marry helped bring every wife in. She should have had the honorary position of first wife and being married the longest, the legal wife. Janelle was correct when she assessed that Mary would be fair in dividing up assets and worried Robin wouldn't be. Just looking at Robin's house and the furnishings in it compared to Janelle's or even Mary's which was only rented proves that along with the unequal division of the property. Kody and Robin own over half the land together. It doesn't matter if Kody claims the lot as only his. Robin is his legal wife and we already know by her last divorce she will want what Kody owns spot in half with her and child support too. No Mary there was nothing wrong with your turkey, Robin just gobbled more. Yes I mean it the way you are thinking.

Kody would probably say he was involved when they were younger, and now he is less involved because they don't respect him blabla. You have to believe you are in the wrong to be affected.
It’s so sad. I’ve said the show shouldn’t be going on because by keeping it, it only show how hurt all the kids are but Sobb”n tearless Robyn. I hate to say this but I’m surprised the kids haven’t sued. They didn’t ask for this. The adults did. Robyn got what she wanted and all the adult kids seem better off away from home, but it shouldn’t have ever been allowed on TV. IM 50 and it crushed my heart to see the kids in pain while Cody profits in it. Not right. No morals at all.
Many of his kids are strong minded highly opinionated and carry a bitterness that stems from mothers energy. If you see mothers teaming up to down talk the father, the environment creates a hostile one for children in regards to their father. As they aged and begin to read internet comments on top of it, they created biased negative opinions of their father. Men are so disappointing but oddly enough aren’t built to handle the results that come from being so disappointing and can’t handle wheh their women or kids look at them with such disappointment. His kids begin to live their affinity towards him and he seemed to foster the relationships that were respectful and TWO WAY. His kids as they got older thought they were just going to disrespect him once they moved to a more free spirit city and Kody was not going for the disrespect and he could’ve handle how his kids begin to respond to him. So he seemed to become closer to the ones who still carried reverence for him. That’s human. Most people only gravitate toward the humans that like them best.
