- Two objects moving toward each other collide. Given their initial distance as well as their velocities, calculate the position where they will collide.
This kinematic problem often comes up in introductory physics courses such as high school physics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C and even introductory college physics
we was given assignment and I was trying trying...
But at last I see this video and get the answer.
Thank you so much
Thank you! This helped lots.
Such a nice explanation ❤
Glad you liked it
Amazing solving.
Is there a similar explainer for when two objects would collide in case of 2D ?
Can you do an example of the horses running at eachother but the second hast to start a few seconds later. pls? :D
Thank you so much for your help!
You're welcome!
Could you do one example with thr other displacement method
This was really helpful. Thanks
Glad to hear it!
I LOVE YOU MATE thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Thx beta
The youtube teacher has come to save us...
...with Legos.
Simply t= Distance/ V1 + v2
V1+v2 is relative velocity.
T=4
Therefore s1=v1*t = 10 x 4 = 40
Correct; I set this problem up the way I did so that if someone runs into a problem where the objects are accelerating they have the technique to solve that problem.
@@INTEGRALPHYSICS thats great! I didn’t think of that
Integrate acceleration bud
then we'll have velocity.
@@INTEGRALPHYSICS tops
