  • For this adventure, we head to Mt. Laguna / Cleveland National Forest to hit some trails, including Gatos and the anticipated Noble Canyon Trail. To say the least, the day was great. A little back story: the weather was looking great, and we expected a 50% chance of rain, although that never materialized, thankfully. The day was around 85F - 90F. For some reason, I spoke to a lot during the video but that's because I was genuinely enjoying the ride.
We spent some time with good friends at the campground (not shown) eating, and hydrating before heading out to Noble Canyon around 4pm. In the morning, we went up to the observatory, down the Los Gatos trail, and a spin around Big Laguna. It was a day's trip and we wanted to save the energy for Noble Canyon. Towards the end of the Noble Canyon Trail there is about a 1-ish mile climb on somewhat loose sand that can be challenging after most of the descent from upper Noble, however, be advised you will be highly rewarded with a flowy and technical section towards the very end of the trail to finish up strong. I had never done this last section before, always choosing to go towards the side trails along a fire road but now that I have experienced the fullness of Noble Canyon, I don't see how I could do otherwise.
Enjoy and as always, keep riding!
