Great!! You’re starting crochet!! I’m not really a knitter, really, though I can knit. Good for you! As for the cross stitch projects: I really would love to stitch all of them!!
Caroline - I have to tell you about a "Sure Cure" for tendonitis, which happened to me when I strained my left wrist doing floor exercises. Luckily there was a nurse in that yoga class that told me about this. She was a sonogram nurse, had strained her elbow at work (pushing down so hard all the time), and thought she would have to change jobs. Fortunately, a nurse-colleague passed on this sage advice. The simple cure is Castor Oil; a natural inflammatory, super cheap, and works in about a week. My tendonitis had lasted for months, even with a wrist brace. She told me to saturate a folded piece of white flannel (about 3x5", 4 thicknesses) with the oil, place it on my arm, lay plastic wrap over that, and cover with a heating pad for about 15 minutes (to help oil penetrate skin). After doing this once a day for a week (reuse same flannel, just add more oil), unbelievably, I was cured. I definitely believe in modern medicine, but this old method is amazing. Hope this helps you get back to your stitching in a few days. I love cross stitching too. And your and Cary's channel.
Hi Kerri and Caroline. Love your floss tube. I so enjoy your interaction and your stitching is fabulous. I am so excited 5 of us from a small stitch group in Salem, Oregon are joining you for the first weekend of Stitch North and we can't wait. Looking so forward to seeing all the beautiful things in real life. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed your floss tube very much. It was my first time watching you! I love Kerri’s fabric choices for the projects discussed today. I want to get the fabric for the Tiny Modernist Haunted Teapot! I love Halloween designs. I need the fabric for one of the Artsy Housewife piece. I have that pattern and it looks fabulous on the brown linen. I am going to place an order soon!
You were wondering why it was so expensive to fly 'last minute' to Edmonton for the Stitch and Stash Retreat? 1. Quilt Canada is on in Edmonton at the same time; but even more important: the Stanley Cup Play-offs are ON and the Oilers have come back in Game 4 to make it even more exciting. Just FYI!
That game was SO fun to watch!! I am new to hockey this season and it has been such a blast to watch and learn this season. A nice change in sport from my lifelong watching of NFL 😁.
Caroline… I feel the same way about knitting as you are about crocheting!!! Lol I keep telling myself… how hard can it be, it’s just knit and pearl … My knitting looks bad when I practice. You can do this. Both of your WIPS are beautiful!!! I hope to someday use Roxie floss, every one I watch talks positively about Roxie floss. Keep up the good work. Ohh before I forget, I use an elbow sleeve for tendonitis and it does work.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ So many pretty things! I haven't knitted socks in a few years, but I may have to this fall. And I love the Pub Crawl/Warm white floss combo (Legacy?) you showed us, Caroline. Kerri, I am so glad you're seeing some improvement!
How exciting, Caroline, to be learning crochet. Although I wish I knitted, I do enjoy crochet very much. Sampler September looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤
You two are so fun to watch together! Kerrie, I also always forget to cut on one skein of floss and end up in a mess. And my floss ring always looks messy once I get going in my project. I tell myself it means that I'm working hard on my project. 😊😊 As usual I had to go shop after watching the video. Love the Christmas Bells project! I also love the Sampler September projects. When will they be available to order? Thanks so much for sharing with us!!!! I don't always comment (watching from my tv in my recliner) but I do always watch and love your videos.
Kerri, happy to see you are so much improved. Caroline, hope your tendonitis clears up soon. Love that you are going to crochet. I'm self taught in recent years & hold the hook like a knitting needle. Works perfectly for me but bewilders other folk. I've done a couple of corner to corner blankets for our beds. Love them as they start small, grow big on the diagonal & then decrease. I'm planning to do a couple of rectangular ones as lap blankets as gifts this year. My wish list of patterns grew watching all the stitching & kitted up projects. So much inspiration & the Roxy Floss colours are beautiful. Continued good health to both of you. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
I am watching this in a room surrounded by boxes with all my stitching stuff having justed moved from Dallas Fort Worth (North Texas) back to my hometown of Bryan College Station (think Texas A&M/just of Houston) so I KNOW that I need nothing else and yet, I now have a HUGE list to order from you. I have a definite problem :)
Overload of excitement!!! Kerrie, when you bend down to rink from your straw you need to stand like a 🦩🤣. I haven’t knitted for a few years but that self striping yarn is to die for. My birthday is in September and may have to stitch the modern version. I am cutting a quilt today for my son’s 50th birthday in November.
Me too!! Honestly - I really liked the collection before, but when I saw everything go together yesterday during the video - I just KNEW that it was great. Everyone involved knocked it out of the park. Thank you for your kind note 😊❤️
July 7th? My daughter’s birthday also - her 60th. She will be going to the UK for her big celebration. You and Kerri are joy together. Hopefully you both are on the road to feeling better.
I am always in such a good mood when I watch you guys! And I feel like since we met at SN 2024, that I am visiting with friends! I’m so dorky…anyway, good to see you both. Kerri, glad your back is improving and Caroline, glad Roxy is growing up!
I am but I definitely fell off the SAL bus in May (as predicted)😂😂😂 This is one that I’d really love to have the finished product so I will get back to it when I’m able to stitch for longer periods of time comfortably.
We have so much fun together and the interaction with you and the entire community is just so great - we love it. Thank you so much for your kind words 😊❤️
Yay for Caroline’s Crochet adventure! I’ve been waiting for you to announce it so I can join you. I have crocheted for an hour in my 55 years so clearly I have no idea how to crochet! Ooooh the September Return and the original antique colours are gorgeous! Please stop making me spend money!! lol. You two are hilarious together as usual! Kerri I almost died laughing at your floss because mine often ends up like that too! 🤣
My floss looks just like Kerri's too!😂 I just wanted to say I just got my first two orders from you ladies in the mail this week (because I put in an order then I saw your floss toss video and had to go back and order more colors) & I absolutely love love love everything! You are amazing geniuses and my planned adaptation of the "Kingdom of Books" Andriana kit thanks you from the future (when I get around to actually starting it). ❤❤
You make me smile every time I watch the two of you. 😊 I had the same problem making a bond with my Lily. It took much longer with her than with my other girls. I think because she is a very high energy breed that we weren’t expecting when we got her. Things have really changed in the past few weeks and it is only getting better and better. It will take time with Roxy and the journey may be tough but in the end it will be well worth the struggles. 🐕❤️
YES! The absolute overwhelm at the beginning with her anxiety and crazy energy (plus hound nose and a neighbourhood absolutely RIFE with rabbits) made us question our sanity. Her little personality is starting to show through the nerves and I know that we're going to have a great life together. Also - thank heavens John and Nicholas are runners..... because that's the only thing that tires her out! Going to buy one of those food puzzles for her later today. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Lily, and I'm so happy to hear that things are so good now ❤️❤️❤️
Caroline , Kerri hi. Could you tell me that balm lotion you are going to use for your tendencies. I have a sore thumb and have to rest on knitting. I wear a compression glove and use a hemp roll on. ❤
Great video today. I've just come back to cross stitching and I didn't know you could use yarn to cross stitch. Do you have a video explaining the process. I have done needle point in the past. Are they related? I want to sign up for your crochet class. Will you let us know when we start to sign up? Happy Stitching.
Good morning! That is one of the samplers from the Honeysuckle Manor boom from Blackbird Designs, and was personalized by my friend Ellen for her grandmother. Thank you for asking!
Morning Marlene! Mine is on a 32 count Night Owl - I've got them all put together as kits in the "Evertote Curated Kits" section on the website with the floss that I'm using, because I thought it was a great way for stitchers to try using a black fabric with a small project if they've never done it before 😊 Shoot e an email if you have trouble finding it and I'll send you a link.
Such a fun episode!! Loved seeing all of the kitted up projects and Kerri all of your stitching looks amazing! Excited for your crochet adventure, Caroline - it was a steep learning curve for me, but once it clicked it was such a rewarding feeling! Those Clover hooks are amazing - definitely recommend. TL Yarn Crafts is an awesome channel with great tutorials - this video goes over a lot of the basics & was super helpful! ruclips.net/video/zzWX2dx8ufc/видео.html
Looking forward to seeing you again in Edmonton, Kerri. Lorraine 😊
Great video! I want to stitch every chart you showed. And, of course I will need the Roxy Floss, linen and Evertote bag! ❤️
Great!! You’re starting crochet!! I’m not really a knitter, really, though I can knit. Good for you! As for the cross stitch projects: I really would love to stitch all of them!!

This is sorcery!! I will definitely give this a try, as well.
I am going to have to try this - thank you!!!

Thank you so much!!
Isn’t it fun to kit up multiple projects. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I recently have resurrected my love of crochet! I’m making a granny square cardigan. ❤ your channel!
Love seeing your projects!!
By the way, I received and set up my new Hearthside floor stand, love, love, love it!!!
I’m so glad!!!! I don’t know what I would do now without mine 😀🩷

Kerri, are you still stitching on the MFE SAL 2024? I haven't seen it in awhile. Love the Flosstube updates. You and Caroline do a wonderful job!

Keri, you are funny. We have our 58th anniversary in August.
Hi ladies
Caroline , Kerri hi. Could you tell me that balm lotion you are going to use for your tendencies. I have a sore thumb and have to rest on knitting. I wear a compression glove and use a hemp roll on. ❤
Lol my floss looks like that too 😂

Wait, do pinking shears keep the linen from unraveling?
They do! Not as *perfectly* as a serged edge but pretty darn good.
, I am going to stitch Hamilton on my Two Skinny Dogs
Enjoy your videos. Please share who design the three ladies with quilt skirts designer. Thank you
They are the queen series from Ellen of Maximum Cross Stitch 😀 Queen Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth
What is the stitch count for the modern September sampler?
The sampler behind you Caroline that says Barriefield ? Has white house is it one from your design? Who is it by, thanks
Good morning! That is one of the samplers from the Honeysuckle Manor boom from Blackbird Designs, and was personalized by my friend Ellen for her grandmother. Thank you for asking!
What count are you stitching the carnation vase sampler on? I would love your floss conversion too!!
