Keep adjusting to whatever is thrown at you. Keep progressing. Keep looking up, and at the overall picture. Keep moving forward. Keep your focus tightly fixed while in that race car. Keep your head up while down. Keep your head down when your up. Keep going for it. Keep ripping it. Keep your dreams alive. Keep having fun young man! Just a little bit of advice from a 65 year old, old school racer.

Ive watched sprint cars for 50 years . . My home track was where , sammy . .jeff. .greg hodnet and bobby davis jr. Grew up . . . Its rare that a car flys through the field from mid-pack , the winner comes out of the first 2 rows usually ! Good luck young man

Stephen Gregory - Yep, I have been going to Riverside ever since the mid 70s too. In the mid-to late 70s, Sammy Swindell “owned” that track. I never saw anyone Race there as well as Sammy did.
I agree with you about racing from mid-pack on bull-ring sized tracks, but on bigger/wider tracks like Knoxville, there’s plenty of room for a chance to win from the back “if” you have the car and the talent. Kyle Larson just proved at the Knoxville Nationals that you can shred a right rear tire, change it, and still get a top 10 finish…

The 18" curb is a summer time standard at Placerville. It does all kinds of bad things to a race car if you hit it wrong. To be consistently good at Placerville you have to be super aggressive and push cars out of the way and squeeze between cars entering turn one. It's terrifying but it's also a joy and wonder to watch the Outlaws go 35 or 40 laps there without a single caution.

I've seen that cushion in 2 & 3 and in 3 & 4. 2 & 3 can end your night quick. Placerville is a tough track. I've seen guys run that track for years and not get top 10. Get a strategy together for Pville go back and conquer it. You didn't tear up anything so you survived. Go back and win.

That kinda track sucks.. you need some room to race. Like Knoxville as good as you have been lately.. congrats on your last win .. I had a really strong feeling you were gonna get it 👍 done tanner. ..was I right.

Kiddo, how come you didn't include any fight video from in front of your car..lol. Flo had a bit of it and I could see your car there before you went out for the feature race. I figured you were in perfect spot to add some "content" to your channel. 😁😁

You said at the beginning run where they are not and you didn’t do that you played follow the leader. That happens with a 360 you should be able to run a lot harder virtually wide open around the top. Until you do this you will be middle of the pack? Sorry to say but the truth hurts. You need to stay in your area like your doing this year. Run like a scalded dog before trying to take on the big BOYS!! Be the track champions on these local tracks. Then and only then you will be a true contender. GOOD LUCK WE ARE WITH YOU !!!!!!!!

Placer ville is no one where the “big boys” this is pretty much local for him. Tanner has top 15s with all stars or world of outlaws. That’s the big dogs. He had a tough heat race simple as that , and track was garbage.
