I'm so with you on hairdresser's, I literally only trust one stylist in the UK and I always try to get the first appointment of the day because I want the stylist well rested and fed lol Everytime I have someone new in my head there's a problem mostly ripping through my hair or braids being too tight. I definitely want to learn how to do my own hair.
Thank you for the video. I had the same experience with a hair stylist. The shop was to specialize in natural hair, but the stylist I had ripped my hair out and tried to say it was damaged. Prior to moving to this new city, my hair stylist told me that I would meet someone who would be gentle with my transitioning hair or someone who did not care and would RIP it out. I thought by going to a salon that specializes in natural hair they would be gentle. I feel your pain and definitely understand. Love the silk press
Hey Nucchi, love your video, I love watching silk press videos, I find it satisfying. If you want to achieve a silk press in-salon finish, you should apply less product before the blow-drying start by applying a leave-in conditioner ( creme or spray to help detangle your hair) then apply CHI, blow-dry, and then before straightening the hair apply the silken seal liquid sheen (but not so closed, it should be a light spray ) to avoid the greasy effect. I love the conditioning Hairdress Cream but I use it to moisturize my hair during the week but I will not use it on wet hair. It's good to know that if I need to do a retouch during the week the product contain a heat protection, and I'm not going to burnmy hair
Thanks for the tips!!💖 yes will defo take this on board! I ended up putting more product because I had to do it 2 days after which made it even more greasy 😭 In tomorrow's video you'll see I used dry shampoo and it fixed it! but I know for next time to use a lot less product from the start.. thank you again really nice of you 😁 x
I have the newest model of the steampod and I really like it but you are right about it not getting the roots. If it did that it would be hands down the best iron I've ever had and I've had all types of straightening tools.
Running to binge on the next videos now!!!! 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️💨💨🤍🤍 I love how the hair came out babe!! Soo silk and smooth! ✨✨ are steam pods still available to buy?
haha yayyy 😁 binge binge binge ! they are still available but mine is the old model, they have a new version now which looks so much more convenient! I really want it haha
No I'm transitioning from relaxer dear! I got the texture release some months ago to help me transition easier, but it's worn off now! It wears off after a few washes on it's own, it's not something to transition from.. I feel like I've learnt how to deal with my hair texture better since then so don't feel the need to do it again but I did enjoy it at the time xx
Hi! I’m currently transitioning as well but how often do you use a blow dryer/ flat iron? I’m wondering if I should use the same because I haven’t at all
@@kelseylindsay7972 this video is quite old I’m fully natural now. If my hair was out I was washing every 1-2 weeks. However to avoid washing altogether I preferred to braid it up and do protective styles, because washing with the 2 textures wasn’t fun haha
My silk press whilst my ends were still relaxed honestly lasted as long as I wanted. Basically would would last until I washed my hair with the occasional touch up if necessary. BUT I would say it looked most fresh for the 2-3 weeks I'm now fully natural so have no idea how long it would last now 😭

@@rainabeaugris363 Yes, and I don't like it. I trashed it.

Hello! I’ve been watching your videos. Are tou transitioning from the texture release? Did this damage your hair?

I was using a blow dryer every time I washed my hair. So I never allowed the 2 textures to exist at the same time lol.. worked for me! X
@@nucchi u normally wash once or twice a week?

Ok thanks much!
Enjoyed!
Thank you ☺
Your hair colour is gorgeous
Thank you! ☺💖
How long did your silk press last before you got another style?

Is it silk Press if it’s not titanium plates and also does the steam not reverse your hair
Yes its still a silk press :) and the steam doesn't revert your hair x
Which hair type do you have?
most wont care for your hair but they will do it...smh
Honestly!!
Right!
That’s why I don’t want to a stylist right now.
I know right! so hard to find a good one
