We need to stop feeding into this narrative created by fake fans. Mr. Morale is a classic. This man's video has a preview and an intro - and they are actually that: a quick summary, and a short introduction. Do you realize how confidant it is to basically wrap up nearly seventeen minutes within the first three and still be confident that the viewer will hang around? I'm impressed...and subscribed.
I think Cole has peace mistaken and he’s in his people pleasing phase (I’ve been there too), problem is that turns to having no back bone and that turns into becoming unintentionally phony. Fine you wanna stay away from all toxic things the hood taught us, but the reason I always preferred Kendrick is he seemed to actually stand on something and is ok with upsetting people & understands approval is out of our control. You gotta be an adult and act like a man at a certain point, you’ll never be able to cater to everyone, life is gonna teach Cole that eventually one way or another.
Listening to all of this re: J Cole…the word I find everyone searching for is “Integrity”. It’s the word I hear every time pods speak on it with a preface, “let me first say J Cole is a top lyricist..” or something like this..then they go on searching for the reason -and trying to articulate the reason they personally feel some inner conflict about this character. It’s integrity. He hasn’t been moving with integrity and the pattern has finally come in more clearly. Before Port Antonio, there was a puzzle piece missing. Let’s stop being apologists for people~we can still like folks, and call out other truths. Cole lacks integrity.
Drake dissing rocky about the Rihanna thing isn't a flex, it just shows Drake is a creepy weirdo stalker dude. Rih never claimed Drake as anything more than just friends, even after he professed love at the award show, she still never claimed him 😂. She is happy with rocy and he didn't even try to impress her, he's just him.
I’m ngl the way you broke it down made me disappointed in Cole all over again 😂😂😂. I just think it’s funny how everyone always calls Drake soft but J Cole is the softest out of the 3.
At 40yrs old, mentaly there is still some cultivation needed from Cole's side but that's ok, he will get there. You can't have a history of backtracking and gaslighting your whole life and then try to reassure/convince us that you are holier that thou, moraly superior and above the fray to battle when you were the first person to diss Kendrick. Cole did the same thing he is doing now, jumped out the window, later returned after the public disdain blaming the fans, public and his friends 😂 This is nothing more than a love letter to Drake, the hypocritical and disingenuous messiah...❤
Ngiyabonga Mbali. Cole is a walking contradiction. He's confused and he's trying to convince the world that we, in fact, are the confused ones. It's the type of cognitive dissonance psychologists have wet dreams about.
When I heard the song I thought I was the only one who heard something that made me think "Wait a minute, am I listening right? This shit is passive aggressive", then I watched several reactions and it seems that the feelings are mutual from the majority I saw

J Cole doesn't have a backbone even in his late 30's he doesn't know how to take a stand!!! Does he not understand that Drake won't ever trust me after he collaborated with his Opponents. At this point if I was Kendrick I wouldn't trust him either because Drake will absolutely use Jcole to get to Kendrick!! Why is Cole acting so oblivious?!!!
Holy shit I didn't peep that. J Cole commented on Kendrick's fire and last albums. Kendrick comments on his first and last albums as well, so you may be right.
Cole is an extremely smart dude and an extremely talented emcee. There is no way in hell can he be this oblivious in so many situations. FTR, I do believe that he already knew that the beef could get personal before 7MD, but he put it out anyway.
@@crowing3886 Cole knew these guys for over a decade. He knew the nature of their relationship. We all knew Kendrick and Drake genuinely did not like each other. I refuse to believe Cole was completely oblivious to the possibility that the battle could get personal when he decided to put out the first direct diss record in the whole thing.
@parkermudsen1063 over a decade. People seem to forget that kendrick an drake were friends and cool for over a decade aswell... A few slick jabs on a few tracks over the years and calling someone a pdfile, rapist, who deserves to lose his kid, deserves to die is NOT remotely close to the same lol. People are arguing cole was even friends with kendrick like he didn't fight diddy for him 😒
@@crowing3886u wrong . How can Kendrick and drake not like each other for over a decade then also be friends for a decade? That’s 20 years all together by your math but neither artist has been in the game for 20 years. Both artists haven’t been cool with each other since Control and that’s was in 2013.
@KwabenaDonkor-r9p because they've literally invited each other on stage post control and have been to each other's shows as late as a few years ago lol..
Never ever have I been on genius for a cole lyrics breakdown TPAB was played back 4 times in the first 6 hours of its release. first 2 listens to listen, last 2 listens where to understand and breakdown. Cole lost me when he challenged man's pen
TPAB is legendary. All of Kendrick’s albums have insane replay value. And many artistic albums need re-listens to be received and understood. Something about TPAB once you get into it, it’s truly some next level art.
Oh and imagine if Drake won the battle. How do you think he would look at Cole then? I think he would have more sympathy for Cole. I think since he loss the battle and loss it viciously it’s making Drake more irritated with Cole’s actions.
Sound like me with the not even tripping on Cole for that wack 7 minutes or the apology.. But coming back months later and throwing slick shots, claiming you're morally superior, but if you weren't you would have won.. & Then coddling Crodie after repeating narratives that [redacted] has been desperately trying to push on Dot.. Yeahhh, I gotta do Cole foul now, bc Idk why tf he's still pretending lol smh.. Sht was lame.
Now yall know that's not features work. However he is either jealous or really doesn't *fk with Kendrick because he is "fake work" or "false prophet" which i honestly believe is his sense of self and comfortably with his blackness. "I remember when you are conflicted..."
IDK if this is common knowledge, but "Red Leather" and likely the other features that Cole (and Drake) did around the time of the beef were recorded BEFORE "Seven Minute Drill" was released. The only thing that was done was Cole/Drake gave their consent to release their verses. (I know Drake went in and re-recorded his verse with Sexy Red... the point still stands)
7:22 if these walls could talk? Or Wes theory? What was cole talking about. "I'm a killer you a killer we some killers bitch" "walking zombies tryna scratch that itch" coles pen has never
This is a pattern of his. when yachty called him out on it to his face he spent 5 minutes backtracking then describing this deep personal journey about realizing he was being a hater on SoundCloud rappers stealing his thunder. The notable thing missing from his long story about his love for hip hop was he didn’t actually apologize to the man’s face. He jumped in on this with drake knowing the stakes and then backed out leaving drake hanging. The dude is clearly a snake who can barely hide his envy. Throwing rocks and hiding hands.
Idk. It's very possible those verses on the songs with the "opps" could've been recorded before this beef really started. That's probably one of the reasons he felt the need to release Port Antonio. Because of how crazy he's looking right now.....
I’ll still listen to Cole’s music but him and his stan’s are being very hypocritical. I refuse to believe he is this oblivious. I won’t allow him to insult his intelligence along with mine.
Did we already forgive Cole for the apology? Many people refuse to listen to his new music because of it, so I'd say some have forgiven him; the same way this record is polarizing and seems to have fans split 50/50 is the same way people feel about listening to any of his music now, new or old.
Even tho drake and Kendrick were at it all these years but I believe cole set up drake in this beef he surely betrayed drake but why even open ur mouth now Kendrick on a another level. Unless drake got something on cole.?
Wait, how are you mad that he said that to Drake?? They was very cool before. Nothing wrong with clearing the air publicly with him to say that he wasnt taking sides, despite how it looked. Anybody thats hating on that...something up with yall. FR. IJS But I do have other issues with hiw Cole did things though. But ever since the beef happened, Cole been moving funny anyway, so it is what it is.
I hear everything except the Red Leather chat. That's the equivalent of pointing fingers at Ab Soul and DayLyt for J. Cole's verse on Pi (let's not act like Pi wasn't a jab at K Dot).
Lol. The way you described it was funny. But that's why J. Cole said what he said at the end of that song. I ain't mad at that part. Anybody mad at that are either Drake haters or super toxic. You can't be mad at ppl clearing the air and being cool again. Cmon now. And yes he shot a few subs at them. They both did to him during the beef, so I ain't mad at it. The only issue I have with Cole is him constantly talking on both sides of his mouth. Like who are you bro?? Cmon now. SMH 🤦♂️
Cole needs to leave the beef alone and say nothing about it anymore. I think that will help his career. The numbers on his song is inadequate for a rapper of his status.
Yall reactors are a problem. Cole ft with TDE affiliates on Might Delete later, even tho he had 7mins drill which is a warning shot to Kendrick in the same MDL. So cole hoping on a track with Daylyte or ASAP after the beef isnt a siding with Drake's ops as yall making it out to be. To say the lines are mixed up is not as mixed and messed up as the jumbled commentary you making. Cole didnt switch from side to side, he's always been the one tryna make the 3 camps get along. But he noticed that this aint mere competition, there's hate between Drake and Ken. And like he said in 7mins drill..."i love my brother..."
Clearly these niggas never listened to Note To Self or heard what Cole said during the Kevin Durant interview. Kendrick's stans are worst than the Swifities. I've never seen so many grown adults center themselves in a situtation that doesn't involve them at all.
People acting like drake aint him because he lost the kbot battle is like saying napolean aint him because he lost to the 5th coalition Unfortunately drake had to win every battle while kendrick only had to win against drake Drake was in a 20v1, all the best came out and all of them got smacked….
Imagine being this wrong on purpose...you're worst than What's The Dirt with the reaching. You literally start off lying...Coles features were all recorded while might delete later was being made...which was before Like That or the beef.. Also, PLEASE stop calling this beef Hip-hop or about competition.. People were shit, people got jumped, drake and Kendrick literally accused each other of felonies....pdfile, rapis, woman beater, having sex with another wife, and wishing DEATH on each other... That shit was a messy tea blog expose. The fact you wanna compare 7md to ANY of those drake and Kendrick tracks is ridiculous. It's already been said Schoolboy q talked to cole at dreamville fest and told cole what was gonna happen with drake and Kendrick. Cole been cool with ALL these people before the beef...just as drake was. Nobody is dropping all their friends because one friend wanna beef with the entire damn industry 😂
Teach who what ? Nikka push ups, taylor made and family matters are all quality diss tracks and are legendary, never mind back 2 back and duppy Drake is solidified, a general with all his colors and medals, the greatest to ever do it
Lol, y'all trying hard to get a round two. I get it... it's the most engagement (AKA dollars) that y'all will ever see. Instead of trying to think for these men, let's wait and see what happens next, if anything.
Nah fr. All of these anti-Cole dissertations from reactors and tik tokers. Over a "rap beef" for entertainment purposes? Are these people okay? The outrage is OD.
The control verse is the verse that keeps on giving. A lot of Cole's core fans and fans of hip hop at this point, don't want to hear not one more noun or verb from him and literally just want him to shut up and stop embarrassing them.
Honestly as a fan of hip hop I want people to chill out on the Cole slander. I get he looks crazy in certain ways, but objectively he did nothing wrong

Cole doesn't know that we see thru his facade becuz he doesn't think we're smart enough. Why is that? We underestimated his true nature because of his feigned, calm demeanor. Now we're seeing the cracks in his mask. He's a broken man playing Mr. Highground, with no real pedigree, btw. Our guy from Compton, who rose up to become Hip-Hop's first and only Pulitzer winner, has the prestige Cole believes he deserves. Cole's obvious disdain for Kendrick has nothing to do with rap. It's deeper than that. Way deeper.
Holy glaze 😂🤣
Good lord you doing tricks on it 😂
@@michaelobiekwe913this is the only response y'all can ever give to "challenge" a valid opinion you disagree with.💀💔🤢
@@R0Z3MVRY valid opinion? 😂 . Kdot fans are know to turn on people that don't fw Kendrick, he can do no wrong in y'all eyes . Everyone can believe what they want to believe
Am I the only one who wants Kendrick to bash J Cole in his next record so bad he finally comes out of his make believe hypocritical hole he been hiding in?
it’s WE STILL DONT TRUST YOU
This man's video has a preview and an intro - and they are actually that: a quick summary, and a short introduction. Do you realize how confidant it is to basically wrap up nearly seventeen minutes within the first three and still be confident that the viewer will hang around?
I'm impressed...and subscribed.
That's hood journalism right there. That's hip hop and why in spite of its failings still remains perhaps the greatest genre.
Soundly put
❤
Drake dissing rocky about the Rihanna thing isn't a flex, it just shows Drake is a creepy weirdo stalker dude. Rih never claimed Drake as anything more than just friends, even after he professed love at the award show, she still never claimed him 😂. She is happy with rocy and he didn't even try to impress her, he's just him.
The apology part 2. Jcole just made everything worse 😂. Not only for him but Drake too because we talking about the beef again
People were already talking about it this entire month about cole about to diss drake 😂
I always wished Kendrick would have gave Cole a complete diss record even after the apology.
Why? You don’t like Lightskin niqqas
Lol. Same
Omg yes!
For real cole deserves all the smoke. No mercy,no apologies and no sympathy.
Nah! He is not worth it, and tbh thats what cole wants for kendrick to give him. An alley oop to redeem him himself.
I’m ngl the way you broke it down made me disappointed in Cole all over again 😂😂😂. I just think it’s funny how everyone always calls Drake soft but J Cole is the softest out of the 3.
Kendrick ain’t soft… just the two hugging and kissing on stage
'J Cole' is like that SLIMY🪱WORM that keeps sticking its head out of the😱dirt until The Blackbird finally😮bites the HEAD💀OFF..!
J Cole is going to inherit the sh*t Drake has been getting..
Don't forget J Cole only took his words back after people said his response was wack😒
Great breakdown 👌🏽 I was waiting for your video!
J cole is such a karen - passive aggressive, self-proclaimed victim, and self righteous
I just said this that's what him and Drake have in common. They Karen's
We do remember the Wale, Noname, Kanye, Lil Pump, 7 min drill rants. Cole did the same thing he is doing now, jumped out the window, later returned after the public disdain blaming the fans, public and his friends 😂 This is nothing more than a love letter to Drake, the hypocritical and disingenuous messiah...❤
If he is pushing 40 he not changing much if any mentally.
Facts fake Messiah I think him and drake suit each other Meet the Cornies
Ngiyabonga Mbali. Cole is a walking contradiction. He's confused and he's trying to convince the world that we, in fact, are the confused ones. It's the type of cognitive dissonance psychologists have wet dreams about.
Cole's fans expect honesty and genuinity from him. But Cole just keeps hopping between sides, its sad man.
@@Spartan122S 😂😂😂stay at home wife, mom, kids homeschooled, husband travelling - I have all the time in the world to call out hypocrisy 😂😂😂❤️
When I heard the song I thought I was the only one who heard something that made me think "Wait a minute, am I listening right? This shit is passive aggressive", then I watched several reactions and it seems that the feelings are mutual from the majority I saw
Cole messed up in so many ways. He lost just for speaking. He's still a skilled lyricist but not very in tune with what's going on.

J Flod doesn't know the meaning of loyalty
👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 GOOD JOB AS USUAL!!!!!
Good breakdown brother. 👌🏾
Deep, nuanced breakdown. Love it!
J.Fold always acts like the biggest dog in the fight until he gets his heels nipped.
The line in euphoria when Kendrick was talking about his classic albums I believe it was a shot at Cole
Holy shit I didn't peep that.
J Cole commented on Kendrick's fire and last albums. Kendrick comments on his first and last albums as well, so you may be right.
lol Cole got classic albums bruh y'all let the grammys and pitchfork the critics tell ya'll what a classic is
@@collegedropout2766 Cole only has 1 classic album
Cole has classic songs not Albums there’s a Different
@@collegedropout2766albums? No. Maybe 2014FHD is a classic but honestly, I’d struggle to think of at least one standout song from that album.
“I remember you was conflicted” that’s J. Cole’s motto in 2024
Cole is an extremely smart dude and an extremely talented emcee. There is no way in hell can he be this oblivious in so many situations.
FTR, I do believe that he already knew that the beef could get personal before 7MD, but he put it out anyway.
If tde is to be believed he found out during dreamville fest when he talked to schoolboy q. Which was after 7md came out.
That ‘Door Dash’ analogy was atrocious 😂
ayt that’s it, K-DOT it’s time to grab the stick
Cole the type to back door a homie & still look like a good guy… smh 😪😪😪 I’m tired of that dude
Agree with you 100%
Kendrick's friend Glasses Malone says Kendrick is taking Port Antonio as a diss and is planning to respond on his album ❤
Je said he THINKS that's what Kendrick would do because that's wjat he would do and bith he and Kendrick are on the same wavelength
If he does I’d love it. Just one good get back for dissing To Pimp A Butterfly
Your friend changing your opps flat tire is wild!!! And it's not like he didn't know the mission they were going on. 🤦🏽♂️
lmao it’s like fighting a boss in dark souls with a friend and then they disconnect
Seriously j,cole is two faced simple as that
Sound like me with the not even tripping on Cole for that wack 7 minutes or the apology..
Had to subscribe ❤
Sad part j cole stans believe him 😂😂😂 j cole won !! He's the goat
Did you just 🦶🦶Cole out the culture 👂👂👂
IDK if this is common knowledge, but "Red Leather" and likely the other features that Cole (and Drake) did around the time of the beef were recorded BEFORE "Seven Minute Drill" was released. The only thing that was done was Cole/Drake gave their consent to release their verses. (I know Drake went in and re-recorded his verse with Sexy Red... the point still stands)
7:22 if these walls could talk? Or Wes theory? What was cole talking about.
"I'm a killer you a killer we some killers bitch" "walking zombies tryna scratch that itch" coles pen has never
I think Kendrick should bleed him just for the heck of it at this point.
If j cole never said his name in fps kendrick wouldn't be doing the super bowl after what he started and I bet that eats him alive lol
Idk. It's very possible those verses on the songs with the "opps" could've been recorded before this beef really started. That's probably one of the reasons he felt the need to release Port Antonio. Because of how crazy he's looking right now.....
no the opps put in disses towards drake after the disstracks as they react to it. so even if cole had his verse before he could have backed out
We will never now😂😂😂
I’ll still listen to Cole’s music but him and his stan’s are being very hypocritical. I refuse to believe he is this oblivious. I won’t allow him to insult his intelligence along with mine.
Overall it’s the hypocrisy!
The answer is obvious - JFold is a coward.
Wait, how are you mad that he said that to Drake?? They was very cool before. Nothing wrong with clearing the air publicly with him to say that he wasnt taking sides, despite how it looked. Anybody thats hating on that...something up with yall. FR. IJS
But I do have other issues with hiw Cole did things though. But ever since the beef happened, Cole been moving funny anyway, so it is what it is.
Bruh like that verse had more shots at cole than the stick bar
It seems he is the snake he ain’t cool
J Cole been corny
Cole apologizing reminds me of what Macklemore did with the Grammy win like wtf you saying sorry for
Say bruh, I can’t let you go around saying drill mission. It’s just a drill.
I hear everything except the Red Leather chat. That's the equivalent of pointing fingers at Ab Soul and DayLyt for J. Cole's verse on Pi (let's not act like Pi wasn't a jab at K Dot).
Kendrick don't speak for everybody straight up
❤️
🍀👀🍀
The algorithm bots are at it again working overtime.
Dreamville been eating eversince their STICK album. I guess TDE want its share. Seems some Y'all been sleeping on TDE. Check out new Absoul joint.
Nah if it ain’t Kendrick or drake I ain’t worried
Cole is corny and overrated
J cole bum😅😅😅
People acting like drake aint him because he lost the kbot battle is like saying napolean aint him because he lost to the 5th coalition
Unfortunately drake had to win every battle while kendrick only had to win against drake
Drake was in a 20v1, all the best came out and all of them got smacked….
🍀👈cole pooh'c not wet and to pimp a butterfly is boring foo.

Kendrick biasness is annoying af at this point
Zero objectivity 🤦🏿♂️
Teach who what ? Nikka push ups, taylor made and family matters are all quality diss tracks and are legendary, never mind back 2 back and duppy
Drake is solidified, a general with all his colors and medals, the greatest to ever do it
TaylorMade is just showing that he couldn't actually get Snoop Dogg on his song
Lol, y'all trying hard to get a round two. I get it... it's the most engagement (AKA dollars) that y'all will ever see. Instead of trying to think for these men, let's wait and see what happens next, if anything.
Nah fr. All of these anti-Cole dissertations from reactors and tik tokers. Over a "rap beef" for entertainment purposes? Are these people okay? The outrage is OD.
too much kendrick glazing
Kendrick overrated trash. Drake bars was better.
