+Kerbal Pictures open start, control panel and to the left click network places and within the submenus you should see it. I pinned mine to my desktop. I'm not in front of my PC now so take the above info with a grain of salt.
Drove myself crazy because the virtual box guest thing would not work. You can browse to the virtual box cd and install the app.exe that way,and all works great. Thanks for the vid,it helped

this is late but whatever hahaha.. u click on my network places .. if it doesnt show up u'll click next on add a network place in the network tasks bar in the left u do next then u choose the location by browsing in Entire network ( Virtual box shared folders) the name will be vboxsvr.

If you can't find the Devices Menu, exit the scalated mode Clicking Hostkey (Right Control) + C and you'll find the devices menu. If the Additions CD dont pop-up after you click on it, just manualy open it in the Windows Explorer. That solved my problems. Thanks a lot!
jokamutta I managed to solve the issue a while ago but I cannot remember what I done. On virtualbox, right click your virtual machine, go to network settings, and change it to internal network. I think that's what done, not 100% sure.
Finally a good tutorial about that!!! I have newer version of VM and I had to install guest additions manually from the CD drive (after clicking "Devices/Install Guest Additions I had to open CD drive to install the iso file). Can I share any program from Windows to VM????
So initially when you try to load tools from the disc image nothing happens...but actually if you open up 'my computer' it's ready to be executed from the virtual disk drive.
jokamutta I shared a compressed folder, but I was not able to see on the virtual Windows. Then I casually clicked on 'Show all program' then I was able to see.

keep in mind guys that you have to make a path to the folder from NETWORK->user->etc and NOT from the DESTKOP otherwise won't work
