After my chemo my new hair grew back curly but… soft, and beautiful. I never complained about a bad hair day again! You look beautiful!

Curly soft hair is quite common after chemo. Love yours as it’s growing back it suits you xx
My hair changed completely after chemo. Color, texture, Everything. Except color, I like it better than before.
My friend was about 40 and her hair had been straight and brown. Came back in very curly and salt and pepper. She had a really hard time accepting the change. I only met her shortly after and so I nay knew her to look one way, and I really thought it suited her. It is interesting isn’t it?
That is exactly what I posted about Jess' hair. As a chemo nurse, I made sure to explain the 'why' of it to my patients. At least they are well informed and expect that it may happen (amongst a ton of other side effects). That way the shock of it happening is lessened with a plan ahead of time.
I was a home care nurse and one of my patients had the most gorgeous hair when it came back.🇨🇦

Hi Jess, it us so good to see you looking so healthy ,,,answered prayers for sure,,,i have a bit of news to share with you,,,you commented in this video that your hair has a curling to it now ,,,i have always heard that after hair loss due to chemo &/or radiation when the hair comes back it has changed in one oe several way color,texture,straight to curly or curly to straight ,,thicker or thinner hair strands ...your hair now seems to b a little darker & curly ,,,,it did keep one thing tho ,,its beauty your hair now & then was very pretty😊

Jessica, I noticed it too that your hair is coming out curly. It is quite common when your hair starts to grow out, it become curly after chemotherapy and I do not know why.

Coffee is life! I love the Hunger Games, but I haven't seen the new movie yet. Was that SilverCity London? I used to live a 1 min drive from there. Except back then there was no movie theatre there in the 80s 😂😂. The hair looks great! The curls are so easy to style at that length. Use gel & your imagination for the hair. ❤❤
Merry Christmas to you and the whole Brock family. I had a round of a chemo type drug for my MS. My hair thinned out then what I lost came in curly. I had it for about 6 years and it gradually is going straight again 😞 Loved it when I had it.

I am 60 years old. I go to bed around 1a.m. Get around 10a.m. To 11a.m. The way I see it as long as you get what you need done don’t worry about. I don’t care what other people think about my sleep schedule.. I love your hair. Embrace it!

Let me tell you a story about need/want. My husband tells this story and I use it now :-) My husband was living in Churchill, Manitoba. He, and a friend, were shopping in the general store with the friend's 5 year old son. The little boy came up to his father with an action figure and said, "Dad, I need this". His dad decided it was a good time to teach him about need versus want. He said, "Well son, I understand that you want the toy, but I do not believe that you need it. Can you explain your need?" Little boy goes, "Yes, if I don't have it, I will be sad". Not being sad is very definitely a need, lol. So, when I look at something and go "I need this!", my husband just rolls his eyes and says, "Yes, yes you do.".

I grew up on fountain pop from our soda fountain that we had in our town. It is amazing I only drink from soda fountain pop when I do drink it

I don't know if you can get them in Canada, but my family loves Bach's Rescue Remedies.
They do night drops to help you sleep along with stress, skin etc remedies. Even one for pets! Not sure if they work on sheep though 😂 The remedies are based on flower and plant essences.
My daughter found out about them when she was taking her exams at university, and now all the family use them. My eldest grandson is eleven and has the kids' night drops. The impact on his sleep has been amazing and he wakes really refreshed.
It always best to check with a pharmacist/vet before taking/giving them, but if you can take them, I thoroughly recommend them.

My Bestest friend/sister of 44 yrs. Just beat lymphoma, she had a long road & still will be trying to get back to life.. I would tell her along the road how great you are doing and when you were going through this, ( chemo) she would go through it and I’d tell her Jess did too. You are looking more gorgeous by the day, Jess! Your hair looks amazing and does have more curl to it. This can be another side effect of chemo. Hair can actually change its color, thickness, and curliness. It's hard for some people to understand why this might happen and how the chemo caused it. However, you are just a beautiful young lady with a heart of gold!! 😍
I have been wondering if you got into all the classes you needed? I understand how that works, since I've got an Associate, Bachelor and Masters degrees in nursing. I've even waited in line before the counseling department opened to be sure. First come, first served.

It explained a lot more about Panem and why Katniss was singing The Hanging Tree in the later movies. Very nice Christmas ribbons. Very nice things from Sephora. Very nice pajamas. Very nice theater. Your curly hair is so cute. My mom's hair grew back curly after chemo, too. My cousin's grew back just as straight as it had been before. She was so mad, "I went through all of that for this!! Where are my curls??!!!"

My eyebrows and eyelashes never returned after chemo. As far as my hair goes.. it come in and falls out all the time
My hair had gotten really dark when I was pregnant with my daughter and after chemo it turned back to my natural medium to dark blonde from my twenties. My naturally curly hair got curlier and the curl pattern changed a couple of times. It suddenly started curling in small tight spiral ringlets. Thankfully the thickness of my hair returned because it had gotten so thin and sparse and I had so many bald spots. I never lost all of my hair and at times I wished I had because it would have been easier to deal with. I did cut it really short ,but it didn't help. LOL
Yea, Jess shaved it all off when it got to that point!
The thing that has really changed about my hair is it is so oily now. My hair is a little better longer than yours. Enjoy Your Life While You're Young. My Prayers Are With You and Your Family Always. 🙏🕊️🌹🌼🌻☕❤️💜🎁🎄⛄
