Snuggling on the sofa with my husband watching a movie brings me joy, also seeing you thriving after being so sick very much brings me joy this Christmas.
What brings myself and my family joy is when we visit my husband who is 73 with Lewy body disease and he is having a really good day and he is cheeky and smiling. We thought when he was diagnosed in 2021 we would lose him quickly but with the help of CBD oil we have stretched his time out. You are an incredible inspiration Jess. I have watched your journey this year and you are incredibly brave and strong. ❤❤️😘🥰
I'm really old, and I fully understand the "comfortable silence". My favorite part of the day here is mornings on our front porch, hubby and I having coffee, with our 4 dogs at our feet, everyone peaceful and quiet, just enjoying the morning air, the paper, a book, a nap for the pups, whatever. Just peaceful and quiet time together.

Oh my goodness Jess when you brought out that Santa mug it brought tears to my eyes I had that mug as a child seventy odd years ago I have never seen one like it since, being Scottish I love my tea we have a lavender farm near by and their lavender tea is delicious you can pick your own lavender and they dry it and make the tea for you. Jess you are doing so well. My joy is morning coffee with my husband and three dogs all calm and quiet sitting there with a nice home made scone topped with butter and rasp jam delicious 😊

I do counted cross stitching and that always brings me joy. I could be in a funk and at loose ends, but I pick up the needle and thread and a calmness takes over! I also sit with a smile on my face and your mom’s excitement every lambing time🎄🪡🐑

What brings me joy at the moments it's all the volgmas videos here. On a regular basis though it's definitely reading and my quiet times- prayer times in the evenings. I can't do without that.
For my joy, I enjoy early morning quiet, drinking coffee and reading a novel from one of my favorite authors. Another joy is during the holiday season picking the perfect gift for someone in my family knowing it will bring them joy.
When my family is happy and well. Learning about new ways of looking at life. Baking for family and friends on holidays. So, probably weird but it's just what's on my mind so I'll say it. These vlogs are really nice to see over the holidays. I'm mostly ok/recovered now, but the past 3-4 years were really rough for me health wise. A lot of close relationships sort of dissolved over the course of being ill too 😅 These vlogs are always so cheery and somehow make me feel less alone. I really appreciate that

I know you mentioned in previous video what you and your brother may do with farm if parents retire, but not sure if I've ever heard what your post college plans were or what you would like them to be.
I had the same idea for a question, and I was also wondering if her experience this past year dealing with the cancer diagnosis and treatment has changed her outlook/plans for what she'll be aiming for post-college.
Beware the comfortable silence! My wife and I were comfortable with silence, I would be reading, she would be working on a charitable organization website. When she passed, the silence was devastating. Even after 9 years, I always have something playing in the background, music, tv, fan, etc. God bless

Comfortable silence! Very nice concept! I see that when all of you are out at the cabin! Sometimes hubby and I will be just sitting and maybe reading, or even half asleep, and one or the other will reach out to squeeze a hand or rub an arm. Took me a long time to understand that we don't always have to be talking.
Laying in bed for my 3pm nap after the dogs have been fed and gone out. The 4 pups surround me in their own way. That is my favorite thing. We communicate love and I so love my naps. Good morning. Nice Santa mug. I don't drink coffee. I drink tea. Piper looks very comfortable. That's quite a lot of tea. I love Earl Grey and lavender. I buy my tea exclusively from Tebella. Very nice tea equipment. The conversation cards are a nice touch. Watching yours and your mom's vlogs brings me joy. Also traveling with our favorite cruise company, Viking river and ocean cruises. Those cookies look delicious. You have your tea organized so well. I put all my tea in the pantry in our kitchen.

Coffee on a slow quiet morning when camping. At the beach or in the mountains…doesn’t matter.
I like Instant coffee and cream. No sugar. No special machinery. Just a kettle. ;)
