@@TehMezdawg It might be worth mentioning that you need to do it for each login on your PC. My wife also uses my PC (but not Adobe software) and she was still getting the same error. This wouldn't be an issue, but Adobe update was still running while the PC was in standby and was using a lot of battery power.
Wow! Thank you. I used another video from someone else to fix this problem yesterday. It worked perfectly. Shut down last night, cant open XD this morning, retried last night's fix, and it won't reinstall, Found your video and it worked perfectly. Thank you!
Hello. I am having difficulty opening one of my xd files. I receive an error message saying "This is not a valid xd file. "Error 86. Could you kindly advise how to fix this?
I haven’t had that problem but when I google it, it looks like your issue is your subscription is being used on another computer at the same time. Is that possible? If this isn’t he case do you have two computers? The Adobe support page recommends opening the file on your second pc (not the one it’s failing to work on), re name the file to something else (just throw _2 at the end or whatever you want) and then try opening it on your original “problem” pc again. If that doesn’t work you might need to reach out to Adobe. Good luck!
