Not even an army yet but I can't help to be proud for these boys! Knowing how far they are now from what they have been when they were just starting. The results of their hardwork are now paying off! Thank you! To start it off I'd say listen to some of their songs, doesn't matter from which era just as long as it's a BTS song. 2nd, watch some Bangtan Bombs, they have a channel called BangtanTV and there are LOADS of content but if you want the subbed versions I suggest going to channels like BangtanSubs or ARMY Unnie. 3. Get to know the inside jokes and watch a few nonsense cracks from ARMYs. That's how I got into ARMY anyway, I hope this helps!😊
Try watching their first debut song way back on june 13, 2013 with the song 'No More Dream' and up to the latest, also u need to get to know them first so I suggest you should read each members updated profile. Or you could also watch an "Ugly Guide videos to bts/rap line/vocal line" you'll love it I promise it won't be a waste of time. Hope this helps goodluck on being an army hope you can choose your bias. 👍

When I got into BTS I fell in love with their dance practices, since they show how human the members are, and how amazing the choreography are at the same time.
I also recommend watching their older MVs - especially I Need U, since it was the beginning of their storyline MVs (and tons of theories).
Also, if you want to get to know the fandom better, I recommend the Army Amino app, the V Live app, and watching funny videos on RUclips. (Ramenai and Bangtanedits are my personal faves). Crack videos and Bangtan bombs are also a must!

Also, what not to do:
DO NOT try to learn them by hair colours. I tried that, and they change it every two seconds, it's a useless method. Just binge a bunch of videos, and I recommend the channel Squishy Min Yoongi. They have guides to each member, which will be VERY helpful to you!
Their run episodes are funny ASF so you should watch that and go Amino app and join BTS Army Amino

I remember him saying, "Love you," in the Hollywire interview didn't sound awkward at all.
crossingmyrubicon anybody could say "love you" in the 21st century without sounding awkward but it's just not the same hearing it in their mother tongue. But I still understand that for a foreign army, having them speak English must be something special. It's just a matter of perspective I guess :)

You can see how Namjoon is close to Yoongi in this interview and how he tries to support him, because Yoongi was so nervous even that his hand was shaking and he didn’t speak much. Befor the performance Yoongi said that this is the first time he got nervous because he grew up watching AMA performance that's was so meanful so that he cried in the bathroom at the time of announcing their performance. He also said that it is not because he was happy but because he was afraid. What if everything ended? I am really proud of him and proud of the best leader Namjoon and how he supports his team members, and army who Scream and supported the members because they said that their tension was reduced because of the presence of the army..
