Great videos! Heads up, the description need "to" after "How". Typically I'm not the Grammer guy, but it might help when people search "how to". Hope that helps, and I love the channel. My 5 year plan is to own and run a gym
Thanks so much for pointing that out, I can believe I didn’t notice it and no one else said anything else about it haha! Thanks again and best of luck getting the gym💪🏽
Coach..what is the population in your area? How do you get revenue during school hours or when players are in season? Do you also use your gym for other activities?
Excellent video. Just what I’ve been looking for. I just can’t find anything in my area!!! Any tips when looking for a building? All I find on loop net are giant spaces way out of my budget
Would speak to a realtor as well! They usually have access to off market stuff but also just gotta be patient, I looked every day for months before I even found anything
How are you protected from the property owner not renewing your lease or drastically upping your rent? WIthout owning the property how do you feel safe investing so much to outfit the courts and facility?
Hey Tyler, question for you... I want to open my own gym however I do not plan on coaching/training (since I'm not a trainer) I plan on running mostly a gym subscription model for monthly payments. Do you think this is a scalable method or should I just rent out the gym? Also how big of a facility should I be looking for? Thanks in advance
Another question! When you were amassing the funds to open your gym, did you put it all in a savings account or did you put it in the market to grow and then later withdraw it? Thanks!!
Thinking about basketball training full time and eventually starting my own gym. What do you typically charge per client? Obviously it could vary but just curious
@@tjltraining is the course still up? I am wanting to open a gym here in Vegas. But when I clicked the link it said site not found. (Don’t know if my first reply posted)

@@tjltraining sorry coach...didn't get what you meant...
My bad, my gym is in Lowell, small city. All business is primarily done after school hours, and rented primarily to all basketball activities
@@tjltraining Mahalo Coach!
Blessing brotha !!!
Thank you

Thank you for your advice. I think I might go the loan route but will a bank give a business loan if you are just starting?
How did you make out bro I have the same vision

I had at least two years locked in which was enough to make a return on my investment and you factor all that in when signing the lease

Can definitely work, all depends on location, pricing size of the gym etc. size of the gym is up to your budget and expected income

Saved it

Yeah it can vary a lot, worked my way up to 125/hr for individuals, groups around 30-40 per player per session depending on the package
@@tjltraining wow that’s awesome. I’ve only been charging $40 an hour. Did you have to get any certification or licenses?
Is your website still up?
Yes

how can we find investors?
Network find the big players in your area
I hear you say the word “scalable” frequently in your videos. In your own words, what does that mean to you
The ability to continue to grow and make more money without completely changing your current model
bro you said a whole lot of nothing
Yea alright buddy
