Traditional Sicilian Festival and Successful Son of Sicily Returns

Carts were used for centuries to transport people, food, and products around the island . Today they are an important part of Sicilian tradition . The parade in Viagrande in the Province of Catania on Etna was the day before the Festival of Sant Mauro. Then we speak to Sal Paterno of Milan Men's Fashion about him leaving Sicily at a young age and then later opening up a men tailor store that dresses the who's who. Sal returns frequently to Melilli.

I flew to Palermo as a child. Stayed with my mother’s cousins. Before my father died he used to take us. I think you saw a couple of the photos Salvo… Sicily is so expensive, too…

Another awesome video! I have a picture of my great grandmother Antonia Maugeri taking in Via Grande in the 1890's (Harry D'Urso grandmother) so probably another area we have relatives. Urso in Aci Sant'Antonio. Safe travels to you both and God Bless.

When I was in Aci Castello in October, I jumped out of bed hearing explosions. When I got up, I looked at the clock and saw it was midnight. The explosions went on for a couple of minutes. In the morning I found out it was fireworks for someone’s Celebration, a Birthday or….
