This is genius. I wouldn’t have ever thought of something like this. I guess it’s something you wouldn’t think of until there is a need for it. Well done
Dude, i am binging to catch up on the last 4 years and i am smiling ear to ear knowing she will be running around and playing with you soon enough, so happy for you buddy
Love the sleeper crane lift, I've used that loads with little ones once they have head control (or with a second hand under their head) its super secure and most babies seem to quite like the feeling 😊
My husband and I have a 9 month old daughter ♥️ I love this, this is such a good idea. Could you do a parenting duty update video? My husband's a T5 complete and his 1st anniversary is at the end of this month and now that's she's more 'sturdy' it makes things easier for him to do more care
Lisandra Rook yes good idea! I’m in the process of editing a vid where I show how I get her on/off the floor. I agree that it’s a little easier these says now that she’s not so fragile. But she’s getting heavier!
Neat idea...this unique invention make it much easier to care for your baby. I like this idea a lot. Thanks for sharing and demo video how the modified crib works. Your invention is genius. Take care and have a wonderful day!!! ☺☺☺
I love your video, they show how you can Modify everyday actives to fit you... I will say that she is probably going to love rollercoasters when she gets older :)
wow this is really well done. it would be amazing i you came up with a company/non profit that you can make these for other people and take donations to help new parents that need it.
Wow! Think you are on to something special there Brian..!!! You are obviously Paving the way for other parents in the future of simular situations as yourself! You adapting skills are so amazing..!!! Great Dad also...i must say..!!! Wife/ mommy handling the camera fir your vids..? lol... Lotta love to you & Wife, Both! Awesome couple..!#! 👍😀👍
Hey, do you have a link for the rails? I'm trying to find the same ones but I'm not having any luck. I found ones similar but the lock is blue and looks smaller. I don't know if theyl be harder to unlock or not.
What crib brand did you purchase? Who would I have customize the crib if I am not able to do it myself? Love this! I’m going to be a grandma, T4 paraplegic so I need all the baby stuff at my house too. Great info, please keep making these videos
My husband is now paralyzed from the waist down and has little function in his fingers. We JUST had a baby boy. How can we recreate this crib in dark brown to match his room?
Haha yea it may have happened once but I got good at transferring her. Honestly I don’t think I would change much since it worked very well for me. Some cribs have doors that swing outward but I didn’t feel that was a good option since the sliding door allowed me to make sure she wasn’t falling out as I opened it.
By chance do you have the crib name? I'm having a hard time trying to figure out which crib to buy that will have the same frame yours does. I have hEDS, which is a genetic collagen issue. I go through 30-40 dislocations per day and I can't lean or bend over, lean, reach.. etc. I would love to be able to modify our crib like this! Thanks so much.
This is awesome. Do you make them for people? My daughter is a dwarf and so is the baby, and this would be perfect for her since she is now living on her own. I also showed her your channel which can give her ideas. Thank you for sharing!
leanne allen thanks! No I’ve only made this one out of necessity but it’s definitely doable and sounds like a good option for your daughter! Glad it might help!
@@ParalyzedLiving Hi Brian, how are you doing? This is awesome. Do you make them for people? My husband needs something like this. He can walk but he has major back issues due to a spinal injury years back and has an auto immune disease which really doesn't help. How could I do this with in a way to help him out. he cant bend and pick her up or put her in a low crib so we need something tall enough for him to not have to bend to set her inside... there are some online but they are about $3000 that we don't have...
Hi, my husband is a T7 paraplegic and we have a 4 month old. We don’t have an accesible crib, still in the bassinet at the moment. Did you and your wife make the adjustments yourself to the crib or did you have a professional install the drawer slides? Thanks, God bless❤️
Hi 👋 if you are not using this crib anymore, would you be willing to sell it? I have a friend due in June 2022 that is having a hard time finding an accessible crib that is not $5000
Hey Michelle - I will be selling it but probably not for a year since I converted it to a toddler bed and we are still using it. The crib parts are still in tact though so whoever uses it next can just put the gate back on.
This is genius. I wouldn’t have ever thought of something like this. I guess it’s something you wouldn’t think of until there is a need for it. Well done
Hi! So good to see you again. You are a wonderful dad and role model! Just awesome. Love to you and your family.

So nicely integrated.
This is awesome. Thank you for showing the world that having a disability does not mean you can't do things another way
Great idea Brian! It's nice to hear from you again.
I love your videos! They are so helpful and informative and your daughter is precious
Beautiful crib and great idea for easy access to the baby! Great work!
These should be common place . We need products more accessible without modifications. Great work brother . Need to get a hold of you !
It does the job. Excellent product.
It’s great seeing another paraplegic using ingenuity and mechanical effort to make a daily task work! Great job Brian!

You are just so clever!! Absolutely love it and beautiful crib. Hope you post a little video of Ms Ellie soon.
Awsome man.. Your really a good dad... I wish that you will be a dad of hope for your child and your future children❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome idea! I will be a dad in days!

Very, very cool!
Bonjour, super idée pourriez vous me dire qu'elle est l'as référence des rails ? Merci a vous

I’d be concerned about bashing heads on the upper bar. Did this ever happen? What, if any improvements would you make if you had to re-design it?

I just finished a crib with identical slides for a friends son, this should give him many dirty diapers for the years ahead
Long time no see!!!!
Where did you get the slides for the door?
How smart was that?
Are you back on youtube now

No, it worked fine for me.
