A stray dog represents a number of things: A missing pet who is crying for its family, and can do so socially, since dogs are social in the same way humans are, or a stray dog is seen as a potential threat. Usually both at once. A stray dog is always given shelter whenever possible. Nobody takes in stray cats. I know, because when I was 19, I did for a bit. And nobody wants stray cats. It's a goddamned sin. Rarity has a better chance because she's a semi-celebrity cat heh. If someone in WI sees the missing cat poster, finds Rarity, and makes the connection between the two may very well want to keep her, and for a number of reasons. But, at the end of the day, Rarity isn't a unique looking cat. She's not some hairless 3k breed or a chatty siamese. She's just like my cats, she's a stray housecat. And while we should all do our best to protect this demographic of displaced animals, a lot of people don't. Nobody has adopted her for any reason other than pure love of the cats, or pure "holy shit this is Rarity!" I suspect that Rarity is outside exploring. Unless Rarity was spayed before ALR adopted her, I won't assume she is spayed now. She's probably out trying to get laid. That being said, people may not take in strays, but the number of people who will take them to a shelter is slightly larger. Slightly. I think while emily was at work, Amber was tasked with taking the dogs out to the backyard to use the restroom and she was being lazy and left the door open so the dogs could come in and out as they please and thought the cats wouldn't even think of going outside because they've been indoor cats their whole lives

Also, the way she declares how much her animals also love her. I talk about my dog that my ex took all the time and how much I miss him and love him and how special our bond was but, I don’t sit around and say “he just loved me so much too”. It’s just weird to me.

My heart is completely broken for those poor animals, I used to not really understand when people would say Ambers an animal abuser, but now, I understand. She’s 100% a narcissistic abuser whose love for animals is as shallow as a puddle.
To be fair I live in Ontario, near the Canadian/US border, not far off from Wisconsin and we haven’t had a winter here at all this year. I’d hardly even call it a fall. It’s been very unseasonably warm, like I’ve MAYBE had my furnace on a handful of times this fall and it’s not unusual to have the windows open.🤷🏼♀️
Amber has always been neglectful of her pets. Leaving them behind while she runs to safety from a tornado/storm, not taking Twinkie to the vet when she is in pain, etc
This is Amber’s karma. She doesn’t deserve these pets but those pets deserve a GOOD owner. It’s absolutely cruel that all 3 animals, Twinkie, Rarity, and Wasabi have all been shuffled around in at least 3-4 different homes just being under the ownership of ONE person. It’s no surprise that after 6 weeks of not leaving WI and also other animals that belong to Emily that a cat would be stressed. Like our gorl literally said that Rarity is ANXIOUS IN CARS and dragged her 19 hours across state lines for a feeder
My animals have GPS trackers that tell me exactly where they are and alert me if they leave the yard. I don’t think Rarity even has a collar with an ID tag

Like I commented already on Snowflake's video... Cats don't just get lost any time they get out the door! I've had cats at home, literally since I've been born, and our cats have both been inside only and both inside/outside cats. Never have we had a cat just leave, even after moving to a new place. If you've been at a new location for a few weeks, most cats who get out will know how to get home on their own. Cats who leave, or repeatedly "get lost", are usually uncomfortable in their home - either because too crowded, not cared for properly (dirty, hungry, etc), too chaotic... So. In my opinion, this is a pattern that tells on how she cares for her pets, and also the fact that she's NOT actively looking for her cat. This situation is ridiculous, and she's pathetic. She needs to get off the internet, seriously.
Hard agree. Especially indoor-only cats - I have an absolute lunatic, but he's extremely wary of outside or new people. It takes a lot longer than twenty minutes for them to assess new surroundings. Rarity wanted out. A long and stressful trip, a new human, new place, gigantic new dog, nothing familiar...Big Al showed vid of the cats both shuffled in a corner, wittering on about how happy they were. No they weren't. And if her gigantic useless self can do nothing else, at least stand and call for her - what use is Emily going out looking/calling for her? She's a stranger and indoor cats especially need familiarity, a territory, their own safe place, time to adapt. Did they get any of that? yep. The Ankle posted a vid about it. There is a screenshot of the missing dog poster from facebook. People were commenting on the fb post saying that the missing dog was probably just a troll and a bogus post because that is a well-known youtubers dog whose cat also just went missing. However, the facebook page confirmed that the lost dog submission WAS in fact submitted by 1 of 2 names ..and those name were Amber and/or Tommy.

When our power went out last year and we had to go stay at a neighbors house up the road with our cats. I was so paranoid about them being at a strange house and them getting out the day and a half we were there I checked on them constantly and closed them in a bedroom with their stuff. Emily is a chaser and a big part of that is seeking out the same thing over and over and seeing people as objects. She has a script about how much she "loves" her partner but the partner is interchangeable. She acts the same way with everyone. People get hung up on the feeder thing but chasers are a problem period even if there is no physical harm.

@user-wd8vk8kl7b i guess my thought is more, if I was 600lbs or something else low mobility living in a city (not some rural farm) it'd be more likely that someone else could find the cat rather than her having absolutely no way of finding them whatsoever. Or a name tag with info at least? A lot of animals by me that get out are returned pretty fast with microchips or a Facebook post.
Thank you for not showing the video, I watched enough of it to tell how she got out and I just couldn't finish it. My cat is strictly a inside and I will be a complete asshole about how the door is open. She gets curious and she has been out before, on a leash, but it's over stimulating for her. Ive had past pets get out and they've always end up dead unfortunately. It is heart breaking and I pray for Rarities safety.

Cats and animals in general are good judges of character. If the vibe is off, they're out (if they're able to get out) or go hide somewhere if they can.
One thing about this situation, it’s interesting to hear how everyone pronounces “Wisconsin” differently lol. I grew up there and every time Alex says “Whestconsin” I get a little giggle. Her food again - very carb heavy with not a veg/fruit in sight. The temps now are lovely - 70 to 80 with breezes from the water. Amazing they could not find an outdoor bench to share that meal rather than the car.
I hate the animals may be out and lost in a strange city, and as bad as that is, that means there is a chance they will be taken in by someone. I HOPE that's what happened and not that they were unalived by the Shepherds.
Amber has hardly done a thing to actually find rarity, I assume it is partly due to her bodily constraints. I feel bad for her but it is 100% her fault. She opened the door for the dogs and then goes and sits back down and waits for them to be done. She said she left it open for at least 20 minutes. You can’t do that stuff when you have cats. Every cat owner knows that. Not to mention, Twinkie is a small dog and should be monitored in the yard. Especially in an area with heavy wildlife.

My cats are little sprinters, so I open and then slam the doors closed as fast as possible. I don't even wait for swinging doors to swing on their own because that's too much of an opportunity. You need to to be aware of your surroundings and care for your innocent pets properly. Just heartbreaking. Poor Rarity.
I understand not having an AirTag on the cats as they are indoor cats, but Amber specifically said Rarity has gone out before. You can’t put the cat back in the bag once you give them a taste of outside. She should have at least gotten Rarity microchipped after that.

Maybe Salah and FB unconsciously and mutually accepted the relationship as a companionship situation type deal. Hey so there is now a missing post for Twinkie, however the picture used is from the wiki and it could easily be copy and paste. I’m really hoping it’s not true either because she’s an elderly dog. Some mods on the lost dog Facebook page were contacted by haydurs to see if this was a troll or if it was submitted by someone named Amber or Emily. The mods did confirm that someone with one of those names did submit a missing report for the dog but it’s uncertain still if it’s an actual posting or just an elaborate troll / poo toucher trying to get her to show Twinkie on camera.

👀 I think she got there and almost immediately something horrible happened between her pets & Emily’s pets and she was too embarrassed to talk about it OR MAYBE IT EVEN HAPPENED DURING HER HOTEL CASINO TRIP TO SEE ALEXIS when she said a “friend of Tommy’s” was “watching” the pets and that’s the real reason why she had to take a mental health break from RUclips / she didn’t know how to broach the subject of the awful events and Rarity no longer being here. Even Twinkie might still physically look injured from the original fight, so she can’t show her either.

Like I commented already on Snowflake's video... Cats don't just get lost any time they get out the door! I've had cats at home, literally since I've been born, and our cats have both been inside only and both inside/outside cats. Never have we had a cat just leave, even after moving to a new place. If you've been at a new location for a few weeks, most cats who get out will know how to get home on their own. Cats who leave, or repeatedly "get lost", are usually uncomfortable in their home - either because too crowded, not cared for properly (dirty, hungry, etc), too chaotic... So. In my opinion, this is a pattern that tells on how she cares for her pets, and also the fact that she's NOT actively looking for her cat. This situation is ridiculous, and she's pathetic. She needs to get off the internet, seriously.
Hard agree. Especially indoor-only cats - I have an absolute lunatic, but he's extremely wary of outside or new people. It takes a lot longer than twenty minutes for them to assess new surroundings.
Rarity wanted out. A long and stressful trip, a new human, new place, gigantic new dog, nothing familiar...Big Al showed vid of the cats both shuffled in a corner, wittering on about how happy they were. No they weren't. And if her gigantic useless self can do nothing else, at least stand and call for her - what use is Emily going out looking/calling for her? She's a stranger and indoor cats especially need familiarity, a territory, their own safe place, time to adapt. Did they get any of that? Nope, they're hauled out and plopped down in terrifying new surroundings with all the attendant shrieking and mauling around. Snaaaaarl.

Then if she couldn't look worse, she spent the other half crying about how Emily is a godsend or whatever and how much "Rarity loved her". yep. The Ankle posted a vid about it. There is a screenshot of the missing dog poster from facebook. People were commenting on the fb post saying that the missing dog was probably just a troll and a bogus post because that is a well-known youtubers dog whose cat also just went missing. However, the facebook page confirmed that the lost dog submission WAS in fact submitted by 1 of 2 names ..and those name were Amber and/or Tommy.

When our power went out last year and we had to go stay at a neighbors house up the road with our cats. I was so paranoid about them being at a strange house and them getting out the day and a half we were there I checked on them constantly and closed them in a bedroom with their stuff. Her poor animals. And they’re seniors!

Emily is a chaser and a big part of that is seeking out the same thing over and over and seeing people as objects. She has a script about how much she "loves" her partner but the partner is interchangeable. She acts the same way with everyone. People get hung up on the feeder thing but chasers are a problem period even if there is no physical harm.

No they aren’t chipped. She’s too lazy to take her own dog out so of course she wouldn’t put in the effort or money to chipping her pets. Because she was always the one at home while others walked her dog. So why would she even think to chip her cats too. She’s truly so selfish

Or a name tag with info at least? A lot of animals by me that get out are returned pretty fast with microchips or a Facebook post.

Thank you for not showing the video, I watched enough of it to tell how she got out and I just couldn't finish it. My cat is strictly a inside and I will be a complete asshole about how the door is open. She gets curious and she has been out before, on a leash, but it's over stimulating for her. Ive had past pets get out and they've always end up dead unfortunately. It is heart breaking and I pray for Rarities safety.

Her food again - very carb heavy with not a veg/fruit in sight. The temps now are lovely - 70 to 80 with breezes from the water. Amazing they could not find an outdoor bench to share that meal rather than the car.
I hate the animals may be out and lost in a strange city, and as bad as that is, that means there is a chance they will be taken in by someone. I HOPE that's what happened and not that they were unalived by the Shepherds.
Amber has hardly done a thing to actually find rarity, I assume it is partly due to her bodily constraints. I feel bad for her but it is 100% her fault. She opened the door for the dogs and then goes and sits back down and waits for them to be done. She said she left it open for at least 20 minutes. You can’t do that stuff when you have cats. Every cat owner knows that. Not to mention, Twinkie is a small dog and should be monitored in the yard. Especially in an area with heavy wildlife.
I truly hope Rarity will be found safe. :) I hope everyone will understand how truly wonderful you are. Learn to love yourselves, no matter what happens 💙💙💙

My cats are little sprinters, so I open and then slam the doors closed as fast as possible. I don't even wait for swinging doors to swing on their own because that's too much of an opportunity. You need to to be aware of your surroundings and care for your innocent pets properly. Just heartbreaking. Poor Rarity.

I understand not having an AirTag on the cats as they are indoor cats, but Amber specifically said Rarity has gone out before. You can’t put the cat back in the bag once you give them a taste of outside. She should have at least gotten Rarity microchipped after that.

Maybe Salah and FB unconsciously and mutually accepted the relationship as a companionship situation type deal. So, nobody expects anything romantic from the other anymore - Salah is probably not being attracted to her and that makes her eat even more. But they're both not financially independent it seems, so they need each other.

The door was open as long as it took Rarity to run away. Could have been 2m or 12hrs. 20m is not unreasonable, just irresponsible. Anything less, no one will believe and any longer is downright neglect. She's admitting a minor offense to seem credible about the bigger issue. Doesn't work.

Hey so there is now a missing post for Twinkie, however the picture used is from the wiki and it could easily be copy and paste. I’m really hoping it’s not true either because she’s an elderly dog. Some mods on the lost dog Facebook page were contacted by haydurs to see if this was a troll or if it was submitted by someone named Amber or Emily. The mods did confirm that someone with one of those names did submit a missing report for the dog but it’s uncertain still if it’s an actual posting or just an elaborate troll / poo toucher trying to get her to show Twinkie on camera.
As a cat mom I feel truly terrible for anyone who loses their pet. It would kill me.
