Yaesu FT-4X Rough guide to Basics. Using Dual watch and memories.

This is for the Yaesu FT4-X Dual Band Radio. Aimed at paragliding but hopefully useful to others.
A quick run through of how to use the Dual Watch feature to monitor a second channel whilst using another.
This way you can monitor a safety chanel used in organised events but still chat privately in your own group.
Also covers basic storing into memory bank.
I forgot to mention..
Hold down 6 for KEYPAD LOCK
Repeat to UNLOCK

Very helpful, but I currently can't transmit on frequencies below 144.000 - do you know how to enable this?

Hi Adrian.
Switch radio off,
Hold in the tone call button and the ptt, switch it on,
Type in..
32406665,
Ptt.
That should unlock the frequency’s 👍

And it is hopeless on this radio that if you want to scan two frequencies from memory, one of them must be stored in the 1st memory location
