Thanks for the kind words; making a video like this takes about 85 man-hours, and quite a bit of creative? capital. As for me, Ham Radio is fun and should always be fun, even when poking fun at each other and the hobby. Make sure to see my web site: 146415.net as well as other vids on my RUclips channel, including the Simplex nets I record for our area.
Unfortunately, CB has, for the most part, turned into a drainage ditch for bad communicators. It was fun a long time ago. Anyone serious about getting on the air and having fun gets a Ham license.
Thanks for the kind post, Penny! There aren't many bad operators on the air, but it's fun talking about those who choose to be disruptive and operate badly. Never ceases to amaze me when I hear of FCC actions against Hams who do bad things and then lose their license, gear, and sometimes go to jail. Hoping you've seen our other vids on this channel. Also our club's website at 146415.net
Well, we are the only Simplex net (that I am aware of) that simulcasts the net for everyone to listen to. It helps participants with crap antennas know who and what I'm talking about it they can't hear them.
Don't know about the genius part, but we are apparently nuts. Nuts to have so much fun in Ham Radio as well as helping others have fun in the hobby. See club website: 146415.net
Love the video but you need to correct 1 part. The FCC DOES NOT set the rules on Ham Radio. It is the ITU and the FCC only follows the rules set by them.
While that may be true, no U.S. Ham looks up the regs in the ITU to see what is necessary for compliance. U.S. Hams are also NOT fined or have their license removed by anyone but the FCC.
Thanks!! We had a good time (kinda) making the video. XYL and I laughed and argued our way through the production. We hope to make more in the near future. Make sure to subscribe and click on the "notifications" icon.
June n Paul, Enjoyed this one as all your others. Keep them coming. 73 K2LED
This is the kind of quality content I signed up for.

6:16 just broke my internet. WELCOME TO CB HEAVEN!!
I think talking to truckers on CB all day long would qualify as Hell. NØIDX

No more Kazoo on the air!!!!!
That actually makes me kind of sad.
Awesome
A great way to make an excellent point.

Very funny and well done guys
I was hoping you would do one called Ham Radio Centerfold with a ham radio magazine like HRO.

You guys are either Geniuses or total NUTS but either way keep em coming!!

This is hilarious
Glad you enjoyed it; share with your Ham-Buds. Keep working on your Extra Class license as it's worth the work!

Looks like Ham Radio Hell
So I assume that he went from fone to CW in order to get into Ham Radio Heaven. How else are you going to avoid CB "Heaven" (i.e., HELL)?
Isn't that kazoo backwards?
Once again! Making fun of 11 meters
Not really making fun of, but having fun with the caricature of what people "think" of CB.
Thanks for posting!!

Get a lot more views if the singer was in bikini. No more skits just let her talk.
Yes, I would agree, but wife likes to sing and dress up; you can probably guess that she's a lot of fun to be around.
