I LOVE this house and would move there in a heartbeat. Other than the water damage beginning the house seemed in mint condition and well maintained. So spotless. Love the layout and the gorgeous hardwood floors. Even the basement parquet floors were like new. Love the rooms with the real wood walls. Even the entryway with the window. I really like split level homes especially spacious ones. The bathrooms were nice but would prefer vintage tiles and fixtures. I’m really into vintage light fixtures. It seems like a lot of attention to detail went into the planning and construction of this home. So sad to think of it being destroyed. Why does everything have to revolve around money and someone getting richer at the expense of a beautiful home being destroyed. Don’t think I’ll ever understand it. I really enjoyed this one Ethan. Thanks for sharing. Take care be well and be safe! Looking forward to the next adventure!
It’s a disgrace to tear something like this down? Not much updating would make it a nice home. Thanks Ethan for sharing. How is your housing project going?
I can't say how much appreciation I have for those that lived in this home to have taken such awesome care of it. On a side note though WTH is up with having to tote the laundry up three flights of stairs? I mean they could have put that somewhere in with the bathroom and kitchen renovations. Such an beautiful explore Ethan, thank you ✌️
I could move right in that house and live happily ever after. I would remove the brick planter in the living room, but that's about it. So cool, Ethan. Thanks for showing us this one!
It can't have been empty long because those shiny floors and shiny black countertops would be dusty. I think you anticipate them to be spooky, from the movies you said you watch. I love the light and space in this house. Fix the leaking roof damage, and move in. Beautiful home. Thank you Ethan. Love your videos. Blessings and stay safe.
Plus, the garden looks mowed. It's a gorgeous house. Reminds me of a 70s or 80s American sitcom house for a family show like Rosanne or something. I wish we had houses like this in the UK. Less land here, land is expensive and our brick houses are so much smaller. Wealthy or upper middle class people would only have split level houses like these on the UK 🙂 We have wardrobes too rather than lots of built in closets because our homes are smaller 😔 We kinda suck in the UK for good sized homes for affordable incomes.
I usually don't like mid century homes that much, but I love this one! The front room with the stone fireplace, matching planter and large windows is beautiful. I could see myself living in this one. Not too crazy about the creaky floors though, and the water damage is unfortunate. Too bad it will be demolished. 🙁
This a really magnificent MCM home! 🤩 I love everything about this one. The wood design details of the front entry, the windows, the fireplace, and all the high gloss wood is incredibly beautiful! It is really sad to lose this spacious beauty! ✌️
Nothing like those floor to ceiling windows from the 60’s. The best. Beautiful home. I agree with you Ethan, such large bedroom’s for the era. Even the closet space was pretty decent. Love all the creaky floors. Doesn’t bother me. I’d live there. This hurts Ethan. Take care
I know! Loved the massive windows and all the wood. It would be my dream home (apart from the creepy crawl spaces and bottom basement - seemed a bit horror movie basement). I'm in the UK and we don't have many houses like this 🙂
Another beautiful older home 🏡🏡 I am glad you document the homes . Because at some time in the future you probably won't even recognize any of these homes or area looks like it has a really nice backyard to as well thank you Ethan for taking us here with you ❤❤
Thank you for sharing this gem with us Ethan! This home is so gorgeous. Will we ever see new builds that are so well made? Will we ever see an older architectural style like this return? One can only hope...
Beautiful home, I love the kitchen and all the windows!! A lot of space, too bad nobody wants to claim it. It could make a nice home for a family in need🥰🥰🥺
I wish you would have shone the outside front of the house. It would be interesting to get a perspective of all the floors from the outside. Huge house! It’s move in ready.
Nice big house lots of solid wood in there, love all those big window but a lot of cleaning is required. Beautiful shiny real wood floor. I think that wood panelling is oak saw the grain on the wood, another nice one Ethan
I'm absolutely blown away! Those hard wood floors are gleaming! I love the kitchen, the updated style that they chose looked beautiful! And I was thinking maybe someone that lived there had a moth phobia! Lol My grandparents home had mothballs everywhere! If you spent a alot time there, after you leave you'd reek of mothballs! Lolol. But this home is pristine! Yes, those craw spaces give me major heebie jeebies! I always think that there's a really weird knome type dude in there! Seriously, great explore as usual Ethan! 😸
Hello Ethan this home is absolutely gorgeous it’s something that I could live in love every room. With a TLC it would be so perfect for someone but no they have to destroy it. Whoever had it took really good care of it. Thank you for sharing have a great day.
OMG!! This is a larger version of my house!! I live in the ranch style, though. I have the same floor-to-ceiling windows with the same sheer curtains! One of my favs!!
Hey Ethan...loved this house ,the entrance with glass panels..floor to ceiling windows ,kitchen didn't look as big I thought it might ...all the doors looked solid...AB FAB 👌..thanks Ethan 💋
@20:08 Looks like the mullins from the middle window/door. I really like this house. Instead of sprawling horizontally they did some of their extension vertically thus the four levels. Beautiful!!
This is such a beautiful house! I love the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the hardwood floor is gorgeous! How sad that this place will be demolished. It looks ready to move in, the cleanest abandoned house I have ever seen. Thanks for showing us this beauty.
I love me a sweet little bungalow with some prairie-style influences, but I also appreciate a gorgeous mid-century with the nice clean lines... We have a cousin whose house is what I would call prairie meets mid-century & it's incredible!
Hi Ethan It is a beautiful house. You did a great job documenting it. It’s too bad they want to demolish it. That makes no sense. Thank you Ethan for sharing with us and taking us along with you. Stay safe and well.👍😊
Stunning home. Those paneled rooms were beautiful. I would have loved to have lived in a house like this with those awesome windows. The renovations weren’t awful but it’s a shame they didn’t leave the tile in the bathrooms. Great find, thanks for sharing
congrats reaching over 100K! i admit i haven't watched in a while but i'm a long time subscriber and i've been here since the beginning. i always love when you show these gorgeous mid century homes❤
Hey Ethan, I really love the homes from the early sixties & this one certainly didn't disappoint!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting adventure!!! 👍👍🙂
Hi Ethan 😎🏎💨,That was a nice house inspite of some mild 💦 water damage. The floors are really nice and kinda spacious, overall not a bad house considering it was from the 60s. 😎🏎 can’t wait to see your next 🏡 house 😁😎🏎
Hey Ethan! What is up? Another cool house! Those windows you liked that crank open are called jealousie windows. They're nice when it rains and you want outside air. I haven't seen those in a very long time. Keep on posting great finds, I love them.
love these mid century homes the homes of the 1960s and 1970s had a lot more style and class than what today home have to offer and being in an old 60s home you could say if the walls could talk they would tell you stories of days gone by and again Ethan thank you for another find great video and thank you for sharing this one
I loved this house! I grew up in a mid century modern home, and have a special place in my heart for them! Enjoy your content very much, keep up the great work!
i love the hard wood floors and chedder closesets especialy the washer and dryer seeing how i dont have one but would love to one day instead of sharing one with 15 other familys no one is happy about that here were we live but it is what we have for now thank you for sharing keep up the good work my darlin
Beautiful house, I love this design with the different floors. There are houses where you can imagine moving in immediately. It's always a shame that such beauties are torn down. It was again fantastic to enjoy this video, thanks Ethan. 🤗❤️
What a beautiful house. It's a shame that something that nice is abandoned, especially with so much homelessness in the world. What a waste😢 Thank you Ethan for showing us this gem of a house..I look forward to seeing what you find next.
High school friends of mine with a family of 7 kids lived in a home similar to this in the 1970s. Built likely 1968. The two oldest boys slept in the "den or office" off the living room. Nice pool in the backyard. 2.5 baths. It too was cool like this one. Ours in the neighbourhood was dull mid 60s build.
Quiet serene feel to this house and the renovations blended in well. Who noticed that all the walls in the house looked like the same color of cream/beige, or very close to it? Makes sense, bright colors might have clashed with the wood walls and floor. I've noticed showers in the basement of mid-century homes, could be for convenience if someone had been working in the garden or garage. The robin egg blue sink in the laundry room was a souvenir of the home's past, glad the owners kept it 🙂 Thanks for the explore Ethan!
I want this house!! All it is missing is a pool in the back yard, a spa, and an ensuite in the main. I should totally rebuild a replica of this house when we build our own house.
That space in the 'basement' where the bar used to be would be a great place for anything like a grand piano a pottery wheel, a painting easel, crafting table... Just a thought :) Love that they lined the closets with cedar & wait, that 'little door' on the lowest floor, was that a chalk-line on the cement floor?
Those were called Jalousie Windows! Were very effective in creating cross breezes especially beach front properties. Only drawback was they made it very easy to break into the House.
Nice work Ethan! Loved your explore of this lovely house which is very tidy for its age and would only require some minor repairs for a homeless family to live in! It’s a downright sin that this is being demolished!
It would be a nightmare moving out of a house that big!!! Especially if it were filled with furniture and all the stuff for a family big enough to fill it. All that storage in the bottom rooms. It's in good condition for It's age and clean with no one living there. Amazing!!
That is a really great house. Beautiful floors and woodwork throughout. Didn't like the remodeled bathrooms to much tho. And you didn't turn the bar lights on😮
That planter in the dining room is unusual. Usually those are at the front door in Mid Century homes. It seems like it could be easily tripped over if you're not paying attention. Thank you for another fascinating video, Ethan.
Nice, clean house. Obviously was well cared for. Such a shame it will be torn down.
I LOVE this house and would move there in a heartbeat. Other than the water damage beginning the house seemed in mint condition and well maintained. So spotless. The floors are so shiny. Love the large windows, cedar closets, neat sink in the bathroom, large rooms, it’s a shame this house was not taken care of.
It makes me sad to see such a beautiful house demolished and replaced with a generic monstrosity.
This was a neat house. Had lots of cedar closets. Hate that it's being torn down
This house is amazing. Really sad that these old split level houses are being torn down.
I would live in the house in a heartbeat it’s beautiful!!
I can't say how much appreciation I have for those that lived in this home to have taken such awesome care of it.
On a side note though WTH is up with having to tote the laundry up three flights of stairs? I mean they could have put that somewhere in with the bathroom and kitchen renovations. Such an beautiful explore Ethan, thank you ✌️
Lazy women
I could move right in that house and live happily ever after. I would remove the brick planter in the living room, but that's about it. So cool, Ethan. Thanks for showing us this one!
Love this house!! I could easily live here-without the water damage! 😍💖💖💖💖💖💖
I would move in there NOW. Such a cool place. Would have loved to see the original bathrooms & kitchen but they were reasonably nice updates.

Mid century modern is my favorite style of house! How I wish I could live in this one! You find the best homes-keep up the great work!
beautiful for its time even now beautifully designed and style
This a really magnificent MCM home! 🤩 I love everything about this one. The wood design details of the front entry, the windows, the fireplace, and all the high gloss wood is incredibly beautiful! It is really sad to lose this spacious beauty! ✌️
This is a gorgeous home - why wouldn't someone purchase it and update - love mid-century!
Take care
Why does everything have to be destroyed!!
I know! Loved the massive windows and all the wood. It would be my dream home (apart from the creepy crawl spaces and bottom basement - seemed a bit horror movie basement). I'm in the UK and we don't have many houses like this 🙂
Cause it makes the videos more interesting. Lol
This place is retro but it's gorgeous they really love their house they took good care of it I'll take it
beautiful house, love the open rooms, a lot of natural sunlight. my 2 favorites are the kitchen and the fireplace, thank you for sharing😃😃😃
Another beautiful older home 🏡🏡 I am glad you document the homes . Because at some time in the future you probably won't even recognize any of these homes or area looks like it has a really nice backyard to as well thank you Ethan for taking us here with you ❤❤
Beautiful doors and windows. A lovely house. Sad that it will be gone.
Love all the closet space!! Especially the cedar closets🥰🥰🥰🥰

The greatest house you've ever shown and found was this one thank you

This house is beautiful! I love all the different levels and windows. Why do they always tear them down. The house is still in very livable condition.

Love the house, such a shame they are tearing these homes down. Thanks Ethan❤️👍🇺🇸
😢what a beautiful home how sad to tear it down
This house was really "COOL". Thanks for sharing it. I did notice that some of the updated bathroom vanities were probably for a handicapped person.😊
I fell in love with this house ❤ Thanks for sharing . ❤❤❤ Stay safe love ya
Beautiful house, I love this design with the different floors. There are houses where you can imagine moving in immediately. It's always a shame that such beauties are torn down. It was again fantastic to enjoy this video, thanks Ethan. 🤗❤️
Beautiful home. It's a shame that it will be demolished.
Very good explore. Was the large room at the very bottom level a bedroom, or another oparty room?
What a beautiful house. It's a shame that something that nice is abandoned, especially with so much homelessness in the world. What a waste😢 Thank you Ethan for showing us this gem of a house..I look forward to seeing what you find next.
Gorgeous house, a shame it’s abandoned 😢
Love this house. Everything is a keeper except the windows. Thank you Ethan.
so beautiful and unique. what a shame that it will be demolished
Wow what an awesome home!
Thanks!
thank you!
Thank you Ethan for sharing this awesome home. I’d buy this one 😂
Nice house I've moved right into bad it's going to be torn down what a shame😢❤

I love these videos Ethan ♥️ I have a feeling that your going to end up with one of these amazing houses somehow 😊
What an awesome old home. I love the paneling and room where the bar was. Classic MCM. Such a shame that this one is coming down. 😢
I want this house!! All it is missing is a pool in the back yard, a spa, and an ensuite in the main.
I should totally rebuild a replica of this house when we build our own house.
Ethan thats the best house ive seen yet thx for the tour hope someone saves it last minute
I saw that too!
Those were called Jalousie Windows! Were very effective in creating cross breezes especially beach front properties. Only drawback was they made it very easy to break into the House.
Appreciate your work, Ethan!
Love those wood floors so shiny didn’t look like they had any flaws in them. House was well taken care of
Nice work Ethan! Loved your explore of this lovely house which is very tidy for its age and would only require some minor repairs for a homeless family to live in! It’s a downright sin that this is being demolished!
Love the floors. I lived in a 4. Level home in Bloomingdale Ohio for 5 years.. loved it. I have a larger home now. Thanks Ethan.
Oh my goodness my favorite is the front door and entry way it’s gorgeous. I get so excited for these 60’s mid century. Such a nice size home.
It would be a nightmare moving out of a house that big!!! Especially if it were filled with furniture and all the stuff for a family big enough to fill it. All that storage in the bottom rooms. It's in good condition for It's age and clean with no one living there. Amazing!!
You say planter I say my clumsy self says trip hazard 😂 I love the floor to celing windows, such a shame its going xx
That is a really great house. Beautiful floors and woodwork throughout. Didn't like the remodeled bathrooms to much tho. And you didn't turn the bar lights on😮
Awesome video thanks for sharing👍💕💯

SO BEAUTIFUL , AND SO SAD 😢
There is nothing “average 60’s family home” about this. This house would have been very high class for it’s day.
Gorgeous house!
I love this house. Tearing it down is such a waste.
I Love ❤this house, it shouldn’t be torn down 😢
congrats on 100k subs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
