  • Margaret Cho is an American stand-up comedian, actress, musician, fashion designer, and author. She is a proud Korean American who from her beginnings has discussed social and political problems, often regarding race and sexuality. I met Margaret years back in San Francisco and it was immediately clear to me that she was one special stand-up.
Margaret is an actual legend. She has always been an advocate for the Asian community, the LGBTQ+ community, and basically all good humans. Margaret is a strong, loving, and charming person. This makes her performance skills as a comedian and actress even more accessible and wonderful.
She has many great acting projects coming up. This week, on January 14th, she stars along with Paris Jackson in the premiere of the Hulu movie "Sex Appeal". She’ll also be guest starring in "The Flight Attendant," for three episodes, which stars Kaley Cuoco & Rosie Perez. (Damn, I love that show.) She’s also going to be seen co-starring in Hulu's movie, "Fire Island" with Bowen Yang & Joel Kim Booster later in the summer of 2022.
Her stand-up career is also stronger than ever-You owe it to yourself to see her on tour-And she has some really cool significant dates coming up soon, like playing The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on May 6 and The Greek Theatre on May 7th as part of the Netflix Is a Joke Comedy Festival.
Margaret has such a unique voice and has been a strong personal influence in the careers of Ken Jeong and Bowen Yang. After listening to this, you’ll feel the same way I do… You want to be friends with the extraordinary and legendary Margaret Cho.

Bob had a strange thing going on. The same people that loved him hated him. A lot of fans from the TV shows would think Danny Tanner was who they were going to see doing stand up. When it turned out to be Bob Saget they went off the deep end. I also think that his love people that were deemed unlovable by a select few landed in his lap on social media.

I never got into Bob's comedy (apart from his HBO special in the mid 2000s) but I always liked his energy bc he didn't sound like a comedian who had any ounce of hatred in him. His jokes were often dirty/ dark which sharply contrasted w/ his Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos image which was even cooler. It's sad that he died unexpectedly. R.I.P Bob.

I agree!! I grew up watching him, but didn't discover his podcast until he passed 😢. I hope they will keep them up which I'm sure they will. He was such a genuine guy and kind hearted, we need to be more like Bob!

It was so strange; I just discovered this podcast about 3 weeks ago. And then I just started watching the episodes. This hit me so hard....

Aw, I adore Margaret. My mom got to take photos of her at her home around 10 years ago and I came along. She is so sweet. What a bittersweet podcast this is. RIP Bob.

Grew up watching this man like may millennials, this has been a rough couple years for anyone and his passing is rough for anyone who enjoyed his performances. Great men like this don't come along as often as you'd like which reminds us our days are numbered and the need to reflect more and just focus on being a good person.

Wow, couldn’t get through this without tearing up every 10 seconds. He was just so full of life and seemed so happy and grateful for everything in his life. He didn’t deserve to go so soon. RIP 💔

Is the Dane Cook episode not going to be shown?.. also, Bob mentions in this episode that it’s January 10th and before that he says the words “I am on the other side”… I thought that was kinda crazy… and confusing!
