Oh man I was actually a few tables away from you at trappers. You walked by me and I said oh my god it's the carpetbagger and my dad replied what's a carpetbagger 🤣
The Precious Moments Chapel is one of the most beautiful and strangest roadside attractions I've ever seen you visit. I almost wish I hadn't heard the tragic backstory behind them, but I'm happy they've brought so many people happiness and peace.
The memorial, seen from above, is really beautiful and serene. Together with the wall of toys it is a valid and good memory of that terrible day in 1995. Together with all the smaller and bigger sights you shown us a very nice day and sunny day in Oklahoma.
@@saguaro2231 Two American citizens blew up the Murrah federal building resulting in over 160 deaths. The reasons for doing so are still unclear to me.
Actually the bomb was placed underneath a large truck which was parked right outside the the entrance to the Murray building, unfortunately the damage reached the daycare center located inside; love your videos
4:05 I love when you travel youtubers do the thing where you leave two takes in. Justin Scarred does it all the time too. So neat to see the process you guys go through to make these videos.
Damn this channel has world class content. I had a lump in my throat listening to you narrate the precious moments museum. The subtle change in tone of voice says everything. By the end of the big blue whale I was laughing again. That little boy catching a fish ♡
You really covered a lot of ground on this one. That ladder problem----easy up terrible down was the start of my fear of hights. I hope that is not the same for you.Wonder House really has changed. Esp. loved the paintings. Great video. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Hi Jacob 🙋🏽. This is really beautiful. But it's somewhat sad too. I never thought about it being statue's of deceased children. For me it has a whole different meaning now. Thanks for sharing this with me/US. Have a awesome amazing weekend ‼️😃🙋🏽👍🏽. for you this is really an amazing trip.
Another wonderful journey with you; I'm so grateful for your adventures, the time it takes for you to bring your explorations to fruition, and your genuine sense of wonder and creativity....oh, yes, for the perfectly softy gray cat too
Loved the Buck Atoms shop n giant figurine!!! Thank you, Jacob, for letting me see all these iconic roadside attractions, which I wouldn't be able to see on my own!!! Wonderful way to go!!!!
May all sweet children rest in peace. They died way to young Our swimming pond is way dirtier. Getting down is scarier then getting up I agree. Passing the night in a Star Wars room, jayyy! Nice to visit the remoreal and to include it. Thank you
Its time for a new bucket hat to fill with pins, thanks for trips, enjoy seeing you and best friend boogie's adventures,it was a lot of fun with lots of laughs!!!!!!!!!!
The guided tour of precious moment chapel is even better if you get a chance to do it. There are lots of hidden things in the paintings and you learn that the creator of precious moment got back on the scaffolding to repaint the clouds on the ceiling when he was like 80 years old because he didn't like the color anymore. Such good stories. Even if you aren't a collector, you will find this place is worth the stop.
I've always found those Precious Moments figurines to be downright unsettling, so I skipped that part. The rest of the video was, as always, well done.
@@conniecrawford5231 For me, it was probably because I believe they talked about hosting actual funerals for kids there, and as a necrophobic, stuff like that creeps me out.
9:38 I LOVE the colors & design of those picnic tables! I've never seen ones like that before! I wish they had ones like that (at a free location) in Columbus, OH! So pretty!
My mom collected the Precious Moments figures and I always felt so sad looking at them. Nice to see you return to the Wonder House. : ) Love that Haunted Mansion wallpaper. ♥
I had no idea the Precious Moments origin was so sad. You do a very good job narrating the place as always. I have the same ladder fear. 😂 That house is amazing. I love you got to stay in the Star Wars room! They have some collectibles I’m very envious of!
Great video- lots here. THE PRECIOUS MOMENTS are really meant to be the spirits of dead kids? I had no idea THE WHALE! Have you swum off it, CB? back in the day?
The guy that created them started making them before his sons passed away, so I would say no. Supposedly God spoke to him when he started drawing when he was younger.
My grandma used to collect Precious Moments glass figurines I guess. I have their 50th wedding anniversary one. Cuz my grandma and grandpa passed on. But she also used to collect Hummels. And boy does she have quite a few of them I have a music box I got from her after she passed a bunch of her glass dolls.
GREAT 👍 vlog, Jacob - Thank you! As many times as I have been to the Big Blue Whale 🐳 of Catoosa, Ok, I was impressed with your videography, narration and knowledge of this curious attraction along Old Route 66. LOVE 💕 the GRAY 🐈 CAT called “ASH.” What a sweet, cuddly, healthy gray kitty. He looks like a 🐱 I could love, (being a dog person). Incredible displays inside the Oklahoma Wonder House with friend Paul’s awesome creations. Lovely reverence to the OKCity bombing tragedy. Cheers.

But on a happy note, I love your channel and I'm so jealous of all of the traveling and exploring you get to do! I would love to be able to do something like this as well. I will live through you instead or until I get to do this someday maybe :)
Hi Jacob! Cute vid! However, my warped sense of humor told me that the lil doll reading the paper was actually sitting on the turrlet (toilet) 😄😄!! God🙏Bless!!
My first thought was that it was no wonder that they were all angels because all of them were on rooftops and hanging out windows. They are cute, but my pastor never liked when people said that people who died were angels now.
The funny part of tom cruise next to all of the iron Man armor is he was approached to do that role. Robert Downey Jr got it after cruise turned it down

Always watch a couple of eps of Carpet Bagger before i go to sleep! Lol. Even better when its a new ep!
Out of all the creepiest places the Carpetbagger has been, the Precious Moments museum is definitely the creepiest.
As a kid, I just thought Prescious Moments was tacky and awful. Had no idea the whole franchise revolved around death and tragedy.
