This game is a perfect example of a "90% of the way to god tier", but that 10% is so god damn hard to nail.
As if 90% of God tier for an unfinished game isn't insane......
Can you do this format for every other game ever please? The lack of bullshit is incredibly refreshing.

Very good comprehensive guide, loved that you had it on pastebin, thank you so much, i didn't know about the mulitiplicative nature of the gear's stats.
On another note, i've tried really hard to get high evasion builds, but seems like the highest %evasion I've been able to stack was 75-ish, this is with -almost- all equip based on evasion and the master evasion boon from the fates. I don't know if this stat is not multiplicative or maybe it has some cap onto it, it could be nice to know if you have access to that information.

I love this genre and game. I haven't beaten baron yet but I'm progressing... Slowly. I think the note that you only get 3 gods is probably the most helpful thing I didn't notice on my own. Thanks for the video!

the best combo to stack up Mayhem, is Mort+Time+Justice, as both Time and Justice have few boons that deals damage, time having 1 (his dash, that can be avoided by taking Justice's dash), and Justice having 2, one being Consecration, and the other being Reprisal (also i'm not considering Alteration Ritual from Time, because it can be either a passive boon or a damage boon), also Time and Mort synergise with each other, because you can use Mort's Execution to ramp up Time's Gem High (which is another broken boon, alongside Mayhem). If you want, you can do a video entirely on the fact that some gods synergise well, and others don't, and that can basically garantee you a win most of the time.

I have two questions about Legend offers that you very likely have answers for after getting so much experience with the game.
1. Do Legendary offers still spawn when no new master offer is available? In other words have you ever seen one spawning when you banished some boons and only level ups are availabe?
2. Do Legendary offers roll independent on each Master boon available, or are you always presented with one Legendary (roll is made on the whole selection whether single legend will appear)? In other words, have you ever seen two or more legendary choices appear in the same menu?
I am asking since depending on the answer, there is a significant merit to keeping one (if 1. is yes and 2. is no) or two (if both are yes) unbanished, unneeded boons.
1. Never seen it, but I imagine the answer is yes. There are some data miners who might have more precise info on this.
2. Yes, 2 or more legendaries can spawn in the same Pick3 Menu.
Can you plesase explain the reasoning at 13:51 of why someone would not instantly want a master offer? Seems like the immediate better option since the rarity is higher = better, no?
I meant this: When you have 3 boons in front of you, and you potentially want to click 2 of them, taking the new Master Offer (that you don't have yet) is beneficial because you are unable to upgrade an Expert Offer to a Master Offer.
This wasn't clear in the video - I apologize.
@@PerrythePig Hm I'm still not 100% sure what you mean unfortunately. I'm also new to the game since 1 day, so that might be why I'm not seeing the point you are trying to make. To me it sounds like you can never upgrade expert -> master, so one should ALWAYS pick the master boon if presented (provided it's the spell you want).
I´m just confused by the "you need to consider should I take this master boon, beacause I can't upgrade to it later". What is there to consider? It's always the better option to pick a master boon, no?
Even if it were possible to upgrade from expert to master, I would still instantly take the master boon now and skip all the time needed to upgrade it from novice to master myself, right?
You're making it sound like the options are "garbage, garbage, and Master Offer". That's not always the case. It might me "Upgrade something I already have, New Master Offer, Legendary Offer". In that scenario, you need to turn your brain back on and consider what's best for your run.
@@linegrinder Seeing a Master boon pop up has more weigh because if you were planning on waiting before picking that boon, the next times it might not be Master level, in which case you will NEVER get it to Master.
You don't always want to automatically pick the higher level boon just because it's higher level. You have different strategies, where you may want to wait until picking it up, or never pick it at all. Knowing that a boon can never get upgraded to Master from a lower level can change your entire build/sequence/strategy.
@@thegochie can you explain why you would not want to pick a master tier boon if you were planning to use that boon but instead skip it and chose it in adept tier instead? Because that's how I understood it. In my opinion if you are looking for a specific boon and its presented to you in master you should alsways pick it because you won't be able to upgrade it to master yourself later on
At roughly the 12 minute mark you mentioned that if you take something like, Morts melee buff, deadly strike was it? You can't get another offer like that. I once got a dash from Summer and that winter person (Don't remember her name) and I took them both. So when I dashed it left a trail of fire and ice.
That's a bug -- you're only supposed to have one attack buff and one dash buff. Maybe you had Winter's Trail (which is not a dash buff) and also Summer's dash, which leaves a small trail behind her? Could be.
Are you sure it wasn't just the ice trail from walking? It will still follow you in a dash, but it's not actually a dash ability.
This game is the very definition of easy to learn, hard to master
Smadi was my first character to 100% skill. Shes nasty wirh attach speed and attack crtic plus thunder double strike

Merris is my main character all u need to do is grind her get her good gear. Once u get that mage good gear you buff her with damage, armored spells she squishy, critical damage, speed , there a skill that drops extra gems gives u damage and speed get that u going be Godlike :). Kill Dracula and drop alot of Red armor .

Alright this is where I'm lost got everyone unlocked all their skills unlocked then I go to star crux how do you get a new realm that is where im lost
when can you choose different characters?
Just keep playing. It takes 2 or 3 runs on each character to unlock the subsequent character.
dude i just seem to stuck at this game. i've only played it for like 3 hours though so maybe you get better stuff. i need some way to get better gods. it seems like i get the ice one every run

I have killed Dracula like 4 times now, why does not Death appear?
in case you're not meming: There is no "Death" in the game right now. Dracula is the current endgame afaik.

Your crit segment. it makes perfect sense actually... idk what your talking about. If its a 300% crit that means i just auto attacked them 3 times in 1 auto. if its a 200% crit it means i just autoed them 2 times in 1 auto. You just made it giga confusing.

just got the game on 20% sale after trying the demo way back. they seriously need to overhaul the new player experience. the first few hours are horrible.

Can we as the gaming community change the genra to be “horde survival games”? I know vampire survivors kick started the wave again and max production of this style of game but they weren’t the inventors of it and it’s good but not like woah.
