Lindisfarne - Holy island. I've had the joy to visit the location many times. The scene of the first Viking raids in England. Great vid guys.

Thank Phil! After looking up Lindisfarne, it was the Lindisfarne Gospels illuminated manuscripts that I recall from art class.

We're seeing such great local artisan chocolate here in UK now. Glad they are finding their way over to you. Green & Black's chocolate has been one of my favourites for a long time. Particulary the milk chocolate. I fear the once small independent company has now been bought out. I hope the quality does not suffer.
When you make it over to the UK I highly recommend coastal Northumberland and The Holy Island (Lindisfarne). It's very beautiful. Have a great weekend guys. Btw loving your French Cheese t-shirt, Tina!

Hi Agranda! You have such a wonderful selection there, and thank you for the recommendations on coastal Northumberland and The Holy Island, I was just looking-up Holy Island and it looks beautiful, not to mention the history associated with it. We would definitely enjoy checking both out, thank you! Thank you for the compliment on the t-shirt, can never have too many :) Happy Friday and have a great weekend :)

The thing about chocolate is one piece is lovely and you get the taste, after that there is no way you can truly get the taste of the next piece that you try unless time has passed and your palate is ready. I have never understood how someone can eat a whole chocolate bar. I once received chocolate truffles from Paris that were divine and ate one a day. It was the perfect amount to enjoy the wonderful taste.

      @SiobhanHfuhruhurr-qe1ul 5 месяцев назад +1

Depends on the chocolate I think. I can easily eat a huge bar of chocolate if it's Cadbury or galaxy or such like. But if I'm gifted "nice" chocolate, I savour it and enjoy it.
I think you're missing out if you've never bought a hideous amount of crap and just pigged out for no reason lol

@@SiobhanHfuhruhurr-qe1ul That's true Siobhan it does depend on the chocolate. Now I did not say that I never had the pleasure of piggen out for no reason. I call those my endless pit day and love it.

After filming, we usually just have one or two pieces from a bar in the evening. Chocolate can be so rich and filling.

Here’s my list of a few of the places you might want to visit when you pop over to the UK, to sample and taste test all those traditional and place named treatos you love - plus a few more foods you might not know about…. 😉😃
Kent - in the Summer, for fresh fruit like Kentish strawberries and raspberries….and apples and pears
Cornwall - to sample a “proper” pasty, a clotted cream ice cream and a Cornish cream tea - just lush!
Cheddar - for the cheeeese Gromit! But please do not ask, as one young girl, a USA tourist visiting the caves did ‘does this come in as a spray cheese…?’ 😳😵‍💫
Melton Mowbray….. a Melton Mowbray pork pie and it’s the home of…….STILTON CHEESE!
Bakewell - to eat the famous Pudding
    Eccles cakes from Eccles
Welsh cakes in Wales …. Eaten Hot with lots and lots of butter- 😋
Whitby for the fish n chips, although the fish n chips in most seaside towns will be top notch
The little town of Branston in Derbyshire, to test the pickle 😄
Anywhere in Yorkshire - you will easily find a restaurant or pub serving a roast beef dinner with a crispy Yorkshire pudding and gravy
Anywhere in Lancashire for the traditional “hot pot”
This list is just from the top of my head but there’s lots more probably! I think you might need more than a fortnight’s holiday to visit all those places though! 😩🤣🤣

Hi Valerie, you have a sharp eye! Ross here, my mother has been in hospice care for some weeks now and it was her wish that I pass on her rings to Tina. When it came to deciding whether waiting to give them to Tina or present them now and have the chance for Tina to thank her while she's still with us, I went with the latter. No pressure from mom at all, no, not at all :) Happy Friday :)

@@FinnLovesFood Well they are 8.4 miles apart from each other so its enough to see both, Wookey Hole does have a paper mile museum which at one point did make the paper for some of the bank notes, they have been going about 400 tears now, the Mendip Hills in the same area is good for walking/hiking, and oh by do they have some epic scrumpy everything from 5 % or lower to one I found aged in ex rum barrels at about 12%.

    Hi both.
Hope you are well. It is wet, rainy and cold here in the UK particularly: in the West Midlands and the North.
My favourite chocolate is milk or dark chocolate, 70-80% is the highest I usually go for. I do like white chocolate but many I find to sickly.
My Left Foot is doing fine. Still have good and bad days. Went swimming for the first time post op surgery on tuesday. I am 27 weeks recovery. No date for the right foot yet.
Bungalow is coming along, still a lot to do but it's getting there hope to be in the next month or two.
Anyway, sending my love to.you both and finn. Leon 🇬🇧 xx
