    This table looks really nice and I would like to get it. The only thing that concerns me is that the top leaves don't seem to be very water tight. They seem kinda wobbly, because they are held in place by magnets only. Also I don't see any notch and tounge or rubber seal on the top leaves.

      They are watertight like in other our tables. They're now wobbly either and they interlock with each other.

    Will the Bristol table come back for a 2nd round of funding? I missed out the first campaign, would absolutely like to get my hands on one sometime. Or maybe the table is coming to retail soon? I don't see it listed on the Geeknson site however.

      Hey Robert, do you know that at the moment there is Bristol Plus Late Pledge available? You can get the table with wooden legs and plethora of free accessories, you might want to give it a look!

    Ur table is cool but no room for books character sheets for dnd / pathfinder I see the plastic holder u have for character sheets but it obstructs the view of the board/ battle feild / dungeon. My prototype table has a raised playing surface for the battle grid/ battle sinarios , And the regular table height part of the table is just tall enough for a book to open and pleanty of room to roll dice and thumb through books and have ur character sheet in front of u it's not as pretty right now as urs but way more funtional.. I would say ur table is really really good for board games but not so much ttrpgs

    I’m looking to purchase this on Kickstarter. But how flat is the table surface? If you pause the video at 3.38 it looks like it has warped and has a ridge in the table top surface.

    • @Geeknson

      Hi Lee. The surface is flat and the top leaves interlock with each other, so they level themself.

    • @ziomalZparafii
      @ziomalZparafii 3 года назад

      Good catch! It looks like 3..5mm misalignment. Also, no interlocking seen at 1:11 so either they changed the shape of the leaves or there is no interlocking.

    • @jonny1speed85

      @@ziomalZparafii 1:11 shows the leaves interlocking with pins. I doubt they will sell a non-flat surface, and it would be an easy replacement if they did.

    • @ziomalZparafii

      @@jonny1speed85 ok, I guess by "interlocking" we had in mind some shape across the whole leaf to catch liquids (as other companies do with their tables), not just small magnetic pins.

    I’m curious as to what keeps the topper from sliding off? I can see how each leaf interlocks with one another through the magnetic pegs, but what keeps the topper attached to the table? Having toddlers who like to climb, my concern would be for safety.

      What you see on the video is our early version of table top leaves being held by very strong magnets - and it was enough to hold it securely. In the final version, there's much more to hold the leaves even if your table is half-opened.

      @@Geeknson Thanks for the reply! I’m very intrigued and would personally love to hear more details on the final version! Is there more information on this somewhere? I’ve already filled out a contact form on your site, but imagine others may be interested as well?
