What was your favorite Shaquille O’Neal moment?
Dunking the rim while breaking it 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm celtics fan but I loved the kings lakers rivalry in the early 2000s and that western finals is my favorite series all time
When Andrew Bynum dunked on him and Shaq messed him up on the next possession.
The alley-oop from Kobe to cap off an epic comeback against Portland.
When he signed with the Lakers since we all watched him in the LSU purple and gold and envisioned him with the Lakers.
I love that Chris Broussard does these but now I feel old that he had to do one of these on Shaq 😂
El Jefe
Facts
Lol I’m saying like it’s too soon for Shaq
@@SuperWizzle85 you'd think that but my oldest is 11 and he's like who is that, oh the analyst🤣🤣
The most underrated comment I've seen in a long time they should have more likes on your 61st
Shaq playing with these guys today man he would eat them alive.
The rick fox Christie brawl with the kings rivalry was epic
Shaq underachieved in his career he could have been the goat...
it sucks he lost in 95 and wade got hurt in 2005.......if he had 5-6 rings people would take him more seriously as a top 4-5 player ever...
There is NO GOAT!! There are GOATS
Asmosis Jones He should have won 2 chips In Miami.. Stan van candy could not coach that team . Pat Riley had to come down. Stan use his White privilege card to to get that job him and his bro .
TheTopPromoter Kareem is the 🐐
@@MrBiggin49 no Kareem is a goat
wait whos out there in twitter disrespecting this man's name? I did not know Shaq haters existed.
People saying Draymond could guard him
@@MJW777 lmao
those people argue that centers today have good handle and can shoot 3. but they don't realize who dominant shaq was.
Idk why this is even an argument
kids don;t realize how good shaq was...they need to look up his 2000-2002 finals stats..man is putting up 36 point 17 rebs on 64% fg and 3.5 blocks and 3 asists per game like its nothing....no one compares
@@razkable Kids don't understand? Look up Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell, old man.
@Joshua Haynes You could make the same argument for shaq. He couldn't play in today's league.
Shaq could have been the GOAT or in the GOAT conversation if he was committed and took care of his body like Bron or MJ
If this was the case, there would be NO discussion whatsoever "":/
Wilt..no contest
Mr. Broussard I love this series, but I don't believe that ANY KIDS AT ANY AGE could don't know HOW GOOD AND DOMINATE THE SHAQ WAS ;)
You ain't in these streets with these kids lol
Shaq was a straight BEAST. Unstoppable. Watching him in some of those playoffs was unreal.
I was in college when my Rockets with Olajuwon swept him the finals (special thanks to Nick Anderson), but I knew he was the real deal and would become unstoppable.
Shaq even learnt some version of the dream shake from Hakeem himself "":/
Looking forward to the "You Kids Don't Know: Water Is Wet" video
And like biggie smalls said if you don't know now you know-😁😁
I'm 39 and I remember his rookie season.. omg the coast to coast ball handling skills! I was scared and yet baffled after the Rockets swept the Magic in 95 like how but like Chris said, he got The Dream later on with no prob and what he did to Duncan and Robinson smh Shaq to me, second to only Jordan. Thanks Chris
Great video! Bout time someone spoke up for the Diesel and his greatness!
Shaq was a beast I thought he would at least win 8 rings after Jordan retired the second time! Nobody was beaten Jordan in 96 97 98 nobody! Jordan was way too motivated!!
Mr O’Neal is quite a man. He is enjoying life! I don’t see him only as a basketball player. He seems to be enjoyable to be around, a good person and family man in his way. He has invested his money and talent in a commendable manner. Being a sommelier, I see him as a fine wine only getting better with time .
I grew up in East la and saw the entire Shaq Lakers era. Shaq in 00 was the greatest player of all time!!
Wilt vs Shaq would’ve been epic
shaq could not handle duncan or hakeem..how could he face wilt lol...
Wilt was stronger and faster than Shaq. Wilt ran a 4.4 40 and at the age of 50 according to Arnold Schwarzenegger Wilt did 150 Ib. triceps extensions and he and the top body builders could not do more than 120 lb.
Larry T
I know Wilt used to brag how much he could lift but everybody knows that he liked to exaggerate sometimes. (My money would be on Wilt though)
@@razkable Lakers swept the Spurs LOL in the playoffs
Larry T
Arnold also said Wilt lifted him up with one arm, if you want to believe that
Perhaps the main competition for "Most Dominant Player in NBA History" is Wilt?
I hate when people make up narratives and say "People keep saying....!!" Who said shaq wouldnt dominate in this era....
those people never saw prime shaq play from 1993-2007 I guess...my dude was handling the ball like a pg
Asmosis Jones I’ve never seen anyone say Shaq wouldn’t dominate today tho...
@@Howdidhenotseeme you just havent looked up.. during the dominance of GSW. Donkey even said they will just gonna pick and roll their way through Shaq and Kobe. Lmao
When he listed the Centers he dominated, y’all notice he didn’t name Hakeem lmao
hakeem should have 3 titles..everyone knows in 1986 his pg got suspended for drugs before the playoffs and he still took boston 6 games in the finals ...thats why his legacy is bigger..he should of won 4 cause ralph sampson broke down too....sad story
Yes He did dude at the end he said when Shaq got older he Dominated Hakeem. Hakeem said that dude Shaq was the hardest dude to Guard! When Hakeem beat them 4-0 Houston couldn’t stop him. Penny, D Scott , Anderson Those cowards could handle that pressure!!
Asmosis Jones his Legacy is bigger than Shaq you’re high.
But he did say later in his career he got revenge on Hakeem.
We need a hakeem episode
Chris "You kids just don't know" Broussard
Chris speaking facts. Let them young kids know.
If I had to win the NBA Finals, I don't think there are more than 3 players I would pick over Shaq.
@Roger Edgerton Definitely can't dispute these facts but I think if the Lakers had the requisite chemistry at the time amid all that drama with Kobe, they would have beat the Pistons "":/
in 2000 he joined MJ and Willis Reed as the only players to win MVP, All Star Game MVP, and Finals MVP in the same season
and everyone knows willis did not deserve either finals mvp
kmsideout yes it is accurate. only 3 players have done it
The turning point in Shaq's career came in 95 finals when they faced the Rockets. Hakeem was having his way with pump fakes, fade aways, spins. After that year, Shaq Diesel was truly born and dominant as ever.
👏You covered him pretty well
We need more of this !!!!
Shaq was a BEAST!
Not arguably, Shaq was the most dominating physical force I ever seen play. And just think, he did all that while not taking his body and conditioning serious. If he was as driven as Mike or Kobe, we’d be talking about Shaq being in the GOAT convos
Word is bond Chris !!!
man please do many more of these
Chris you need to do one on Karl Malone
I can’t even argue
Thanks Chris. Great job!
Every Generation thinks that the new one is the best. You have to look at history and see that great players will be great in any era. They will adapt. Put respect on the legends name.
Everything he said is spot on. NOBODY then and nobody now had a chance vs shaq 1vs1. He’d get triple teamed and all 3 defenders would be murdered. Believe me when I say he would do the same against any 3 centers today - likely at the same time. In 35 years of watching the nba he’s the only player I remember that if he got the ball within 6-8 feet of the rim just go ahead and put 2pts on the scoreboard before he started his dribble. Embid, joker, Giannis all would’ve got the same treatment vs shaq. Even more than Jordan and bron he was simply unstoppable.
This is just my two cents but the reason I think Shaq is overlooked by a lot of people is because he wasn’t a perimeter/wing player. I think people favor guards and people who can play away from the basket. That’s why a lot of people have Michael Lebron and Kobe as the three all time greats as if Shaq, Kareem and Duncan haven’t made a case for themselves. After Michael Jordan people just favor guards and forwards. My two cents
Facts!!!!
Its even blasphemous to question his skill set... let alone put the idea in you head
U dam right bruh
Yesss sirrr ...do more..
Preach!
Shaquille O’Neal was the most dominant player Of his era
Wilt Chamberlain is the most dominant player in NBA history
Bingo.
How these kids would say that Shaq won't dominate against Embiid, Jokic is crazy.
Oh we know that’s why I’m saying SHAQ is the most dominant center ever
Wilt
i hate how he tries to make a headline with possibly the most dominant lol..either say he is or don't..wilt says hi by the way
Coco Buff Shaq played in a much more difficult era then wilt
@@bunt2462 Shaq also couldn't get past Stockton/Malone.
AnObviousUsername against plumbers and only averaged 15 points
3 conversation I will not entertain to long with youth that only saw the last 3 years of Shaq Jordan.....
Shaq is the most unstoppable Center Ever both Ends of Court.
Jordan is the Adult GOAT PERIOD. Some baby goats yes.
However L.James Kobey Durant Curry Harden.... Are great!
The mid 90s-2002 players could dominate in this 2020-2021 Era as well they would have adjusted well.
Shaq would have made Embiid cry on the court I’m laughing imagining those two head to head😆
Shaq also finished college, earned an MBA, and at least so far hasn't said he hates America as current players do.
A Prime Shaq vs a fit Joel Embiid would be amazing to watch 💥
Preach
GOAT
Chris Broussard is right, right, and ummmmm. Right 💯💯💯🤷🏿♂️
Arguably???
Bruh he is by far the most dominant
Couldn’t shoot a lick! Greatest big man ever, most dominant player ever! Probably didn’t even take basketball serious, doing music & movies! One of the greatest product endorser ever! If Shaq worked out, ate right and only worried about basketball, he would have avg 40pts & 20 rebs! Probably had 8 championships! He definitely underachieved
I don't care if MJ wasn't playing with his Bulls all season, Shaq did beat him in the playoffs, and that's the only argument you need to prove Shaq is the best big man in NBA history
Them youngster don't know. If Kobe and Shaw could havr kept it together they could have been the greatest duo ever. I young Shaw played today no one in the NBA currently could keep him from getting to the basket.
I thought this was serious but then CB brought up the movie. 😂
Just by looking at him and looking at his rings, any person with a brain knows he was unstoppable
Chris, do one of those on Hakeem Olajuwan
Jordan had just came back after being gone most of the season playin baseball. (Worth Mentioning) , and all that stuff he "didnt mention" was mentioned immediately after the boast of "not mentioning". I dont think he would have been effective gaurding Embiid, unless my bias against him blocked a impressive perimeter defense from my memory of the time. Of course Embiid would of been thrown around while allowing 40 points on the other end. That being said Broussard was speakin the truth and I cant believe he actually had to say any of it to anyone. lol
PREACH!!!!!!
"I should've even do this one, is not that old but FOX is pushing me to put more content" lol let's be real "wait I didn't mentioned Kazam for a reason" LMFAO bruh I did there
I understand and agree with most of what was said however if you are not able to be on the floor at the end of close games because you are a free-throw liability then you cannot be considered dominant because you cannot dominate when it's time to win the game.
So much disrespect for the era of the 60's .. Wilt is the most dominant center in the history of the league. Shaq probably played against Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning & Mutombo in total, than Wilt's 142 career meetings against Russell
Most dominant player ive ever seen and i grew up watching mj
I would take Shaq in his prime to build a franchise around over any player that's ever played.
Dude. You couldn't get the Shaq highlights for the video?
Shaq is "arguably the most dominating big man ever". How you may ask?
*SCREAMS NUMBERS*
I simply love these segments from Chris!
Shaq would rag-doll centers today
He would get exposed badly on defense with the pick and roll
I think you could legitimately make the argument that Shaq is the most dominant center of all time. He made Robinson, Duncan, Yao, Mutombo, AND Olajuwon look like peewee players in his prime. If he'd had HALF of Kobe's work ethic, he'd be the greatest big man ever.
"EL SHAQ ATTACK"!!!🔥🔥💥💥💥🔥🔥💥💥💥🔥🔥
The black tornado!!
Only thing that stopped Shaq was Shaq...
"And if you dont know, now ya know" - Biggie
They still don’t know!
Why is this even a topic bro come on man. Shaq is a top2 center off alltime
I could imagine this segment in the future; YOU KIDS JUST DON’T KNOW HOW GOOD “insert name” WAS...
Steph Curry, LeBron James, James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Westbrook, Durant, Wade, and many more...
Yessir. Now we know.
we all know shaq was dominant why do they have to say it every 3 days?
Shaq is top 8 all time, noone is saying he isnt great.
Shaq was the most dominant player I've seen since MJ.
Sick video
More dominant than Wilt?
Bro SHAQ would be average 50pt with this skinny guys
This is crazy! People needed a video to know how great Shaq was? Man, how far have we fallen? I guess when you have people thinking MJ was the greatest college player ever.....
@Darryl Davis Thanks for proving my point. In no way am I going to bother discussing this topic with you.
@Darryl Davis You assume too much. Based on their respective COLLEGE careers, Kareem gets the nod in a draft. You are trying to use your knowledge of their NBA careers as a basis for your argument, which makes no sense. Plus, last time I looked, Kareem's NBA career wasn't too shabby.
Greatest college player imo...Kareem
Greatest pro player imo...Jordan
All this does for me is speak to how good that pistons team and Ben Wallace was for destroying the Lakers in 5
Shaq could hit 3s all day too. Coach wouldnt let him do it.
Yup his 3s came from all the And1s "":D
Cb i really don't know i started watching basketball in 2009
Shaq would avg 35 an 15
Stop ignoring Wilt!!!
Can you imagine Shaq playing in todays game in his prime with all the advancements in training and sports medicine? And actually taking it SERIOUSLY this time? Whichever kid said this musta had too much purple stuff inside that 🥛
Chris ...you made a great video on Wilt but you forgot to mention..Wilt is THE Most dominant player Ever...Shaq never put up the nrs that Wilt did
let this sink in...Shaq never had a game with 30 reb ..Never !
Shoot I thought I knew Shaq
There’s no argument
This has to be explained??????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don’t understand how this is a video? Who believes Shaq isn’t the most dominant 5 all time?
Hakeem was the best. Footwork. Inside Game. Jumpers. Defense. And he didn't have a superstar the level of Kobe or Dwayne Wade.
