Thanks Sam! It's really fun out there at the fort but really, really tough to find any repeatable signals anywhere. If you get one that even shows itself you dig it.
the iron disc at 7:45 min might be a 1943 steel penny, if its smaller than a nickel. If it's bigger, who knows, unless a punch out from an electric fixture box.
Some kind of punch out I think.....a really old one though. It is really, really thin and made of iron. I was really hoping for a coin or token but I think I got fooled.
Hello, PA Rick here. I had a thought about your camera. I am subscribed to Monterrey Magnet Man, he does MD beach hunts on the left coast. Anyway, he has a contraption he wears on his chest (I think) that holds his cell phone for him while he digs. Seems to work pretty well. MMM is a good guy, I’m sure he’d fill you in if you contacted him. Even so, I am impressed that you’re able to do a lot with one hand!
Awesome finds! Love the tokens! I just found my first token yesterday and see that you used lemon juice. I was thinking about using that for a little while too. I have figured out what the token says but it is a little hard to see.
Thanks! Lemon juice is a bit rough on the brass and copper tokens but it works very well on aluminum tokens and doesn't mess with their color at all. Tokens, I think, are my favorite thing to dig! I bet I've dug 60 or 70 of them now in the past 10 years of detecting......I love the history behind them. Thanks for watching!
Awesome digs!!! I wanna play too😂

Thanks Rick! I'll have to check him out....it is tough to do all that with one hand. I also thought about getting some of those video glasses maybe.
