- Pushback has continued to grow in recent weeks regarding a proposal for a migrant tent city in the Roseland community on Chicago’s Far South Side. NBC 5’s Christian Farr reports.

I live in roseland. we have so many homeless people and crime out here we do not need anything else to cause chaos. This isnt right and I hope our community can get together and make sure this doesn't happen here. Not only is it not safe for us who already live here but its extremely unsafe for people who aren't from here they dont know what goes on out here, and people who have children should never have to sleep outside in these streets its just unethical. It breaks my heart that we have elderly people who have lived in Roseland their whole lives who are homeless themselves and aren't given shelter.
