Bak Kee Teochew Satay Bee Hoon has been serving this unique delicacy since the 1960s. Satay bee hoon is a fusion of Malay & Teochew flavors, featuring silky rice noodles topped with a variety of ingredients such as cuttlefish, liver, pork, tau pok, blood clams & kang kong, all smothered in a rich & nutty peanut sauce. Bak Kee makes their signature peanut sauce from scratch using over 20 spices & ingredients, which makes it wholesome & flavorful. Try also their appetizing Cuttlefish kang kong Satay bee hoon, which is a delicious balance of sweet & savory🤤😋
Fu Ming Cooked Food, affectionately known as “Mickey Mouse” Chai Tow Kway by locals, is a Michelin Bib Gourmand stall. They serve both black & white versions of fried carrot cake, each with its own distinct flavor & texture. The black version is sweet & sticky, while the white version is savory & crispy. Both are fried with generous amounts of eggs & preserved radish and served with their spicy & tangy chili sauce. One of the secrets behind their amazing carrot cake is their homemade radish cake, which is prepared daily using premium flour & a traditional steaming method that takes up to 8 hours. This results in a radish cake that is soft & tender on the inside, and crispy & golden on the outside, unlike the mass-produced ones that are often dry & hard. They are one of the few stalls that still make their own radish cake from scratch, and you can taste the difference in every bite🤤😋
Rong Xing La Mian Xiao Long Bao serves authentic & affordable Chinese dumplings. They make their delicious Xiao long bao and Guo tie from scratch, using fresh ingredients & traditional techniques. Their Xiao long bao (soup dumplings) has thin & delicate skin, bursting with juicy broth & meaty filling on the inside. Their Guo tie (pan-fried dumplings) is crispy & chewy, with a generous amount of chives & pork. Both are served with their homemade chili sauce, which adds a spicy & tangy kick to the dumplings. They also offer a variety of noodle dishes, such as braised beef noodles, Sichuan noodles, and dan dan noodles, all with a rich & flavorful soup base & springy noodle🤤😋
Fei Zai Xiang Shao La Wanton Mee serves char siew & other roasted dishes. They make their mouth-watering char siew from scratch, using a secret recipe & a traditional roasting method. Their char siew is caramelized on the outside & tender on the inside, with a sweet & smoky flavor that will make you drool. They also serve their char siew with springy wanton noodles, crispy fried wontons, and a homemade chili sauce that adds a spicy & tangy kick to the dish. Their plump wontons are packed with flavorful meat & wrapped in thin and smooth skin.
