Okay, so Lucy's bearings working in El Nido, in BGC-probably wherever she happens to be in these islands; not being finicky about balut, or balut with vinegar+salt; ordering food from Ate [ah-teh'] (sure, George, too, of course); the excellent Pinoy welcoe starter pack assembled for parents' arrival: Hey gurl, time to convince George to stay long[-er] enough to get yourselves resident visas, dive into conversational Tagalog and you're good to go, even notches up being more a Pinay when you're here than you ever were =D PS. The Ate said to you about the seaweeds: "sea grapes" (was pronounced "see-crepes"). Also, credits to whoever found the banana dip in place of turon past dinner time-George? ü. Because turon, bananacue et al. are "meryenda" food (more of afternoon snacks), it is not usual to have them for dinner or as dinner meal. So kudos to what looks like a yummy replacement!
Here in California, there's a company making a supplements from 15 day old ballot. They found that the choline in the unhatch ballot is very rich in protein, iron and choline which help prevents early onset of Alzeimer and dementia disease.
HAHAHAHAHA. I absolutely love you Lucy and George! But I almost want to create a Lucy fans club! 🙌🏼😆 I’m a Filipino married to a British, living in the UK but because of you guys we have now booked our Ph trip!!!! ❤
So emotional watching these videos. I went back home during covid for the first time in over 25 + years and im back in Canada now and all these experiences just makes me want to be back. El Nido was one of the places i visited while i was there. I love philippines.
I'd love to see your parents eating lechon cebu! Wheeww, I've been away for so long living here in Canada, and I miss lechon! Let your parents try it! I'd watch it many times over and will smell my screen as if I can smell the lechon in real life!
Lucy and George, I wish you have an idea how much Filipinos people appreciate you and so thankful for your Kindness and showcasing the country to your family. You guys are honorary members and we are forever grateful. More success, good health and more power to you and your family.
You're making me literally drool, I can almost smell the bbq from here! The folks seem to love them too. And what about that little - well, for now - Koda singing what seems like a bday song? He's absolutely adorable! ❤
With the way they enjoy the places and the foods in the Phil, I strongly think that Lucy’s dad and stepmom will come back to the Phil for another visit.
I love balut but I dont add vinegar, I just add a little salt that way you can really taste the flavour. I don't eat the tiny chick though, just the soft yellow part of it and the soup. Really good
I’m glad you are all enjoying the street food and the way of life out there . I’m sure the weather always warm whatever the case , I can’t wait to be there soon . We just came back , I was there in Nov and can’t wait to be back . Take care guys .
Wow, I just heard that closing music again. By now, I consider that "old school" as I've been listening to that for the past few years and I still love it! 🥰
I just love your family❤.. i hope you can also bring your parents to Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan.. that is such a wonderful place to visit..
Lucy and George, thank you so much for great videos! You really are getting to know and embracing the culture specially the food- you even prononce the names of the dishes well! Your Dad and stepmom are also so nice and open-minded! Koda is soooo cute. I love it when he is saying Ate and Kuya❤
I like how you Haggel for price, 4:27. but it's quite normal. As a matter of fact, when you go to open market like that, either for food or anything. And you guys eat balut? wow.
The lady at the first place was telling you that those were sea grapes 😅 They're delicious as a salad with some diced tomato and onion, served with a sauce of vinegar and black pepper. They have the texture of caviar, but the taste of very fresh seaweed. Perfect for pairing with barbecue! We always order that whenever we're in Palawan 😊
Huhuhu, its very unfortunate that i wasnt able to catch up with you guys. I was in el nido last march 12-20 and i have been your follower since you started vlogging before you have Koda and i always walk on that place where you are doing this vlog, sad to say i ended up my trip in el nido due to motorcycle accident. I made a wrong turn in a very curve road. So terribly wounded but thanks god im safe, no broken bones. Anyways, keep safe and enjoy your stay here in the philipines.
Dad is kinda moody tonight yeah You guys know where to go get some grilled deliciousness. I love Filipino barbecue Thanks for sharing. You all look stunning 🤩

I'm just wondering why you always opt for a San Miguel Light. Try the original flavor of the San Miguel Beer-The Pilsen..
I think you got the banana-rhuma for your dessert. It is a variation of turon with some hint of rhum.
