This is my first boondocking camping trip for 2023. It's a beautiful lake front spot that's totally FREE! We enjoyed our time cooking and hanging out in the Snow Peak Mesh Shelter. Though it's windy, the Snow Peak Mesh Shelter held up extremely well with minimal guy lines. The ground was rock hard so I couldn't hammer my stakes at a lot of spots. Nonetheless, this trip is a great start to the summer camping season!

love your videos, but I'd love to see one about how you prep food ahead of trips. I keep everything super simple to avoid a mess in the basecamp's small kitchen, but i feel like if i got serious about dialing in my mise en place in tupperware ahead of camping it wouldn't be that difficult to cook well.

5:43 I love the entry IGT when setting up the campsite simply but this is one of the points that I annoying with it sometimes 🤣 That piece also conflicts with the TTA clamp.
