Nearly bought the APL55, but opted for the Glacier since the 55 wouldn't fit in the space i had for it. Really satisfied with the Glacier even though i know others have had problems but perfect for me (usually solo camping) in size and temp control. The ice maker wasn't mandatory but nice bragging rites. If had to redo today the newer APL35 would be a contender.

Have you tried the Nemo pad? I wonder how that compares to the Expad?

@gabewake - NEMO Forte 20 with a NEMO Switchback, decent night's sleep.

@jovidjaya I use NEMO TENSOR INSULATED for the sleeping pad+ NEMO Forte 20 for the sleeping bags. They are comfortable, cozy and ultralight

We have the duo and love it! If you ever get the chance you should compare these with Hest as they seem like the best two mattresses for camping

Lost horizon on Amazon, basically same as exped at less than half the cost. The brown ones. I’ve had mine for about 4 years now and have had zero issues, I even use it as a mattress topper when I’m not camping!

When you put two ofuton together on exped duo 10, does it spill over on the sides? The ofuton is quite wide

@its_ma12isa my current set up is the cot from Costco and an inflatable sleeping pad. I like the idea of the cot being off the ground. But the tension points are difficult to set up by myself and heavy. I’ve been looking into a new sleeping set up. Great new video!
