😊 Hey guys! We created the Chase Car channel to give viewers a broad overview of the upcoming new cars from the top car manufacturers. We are huge fans of pickup trucks of all sizes: compact, mid-size and full-size trucks. So mostly, we will cover new upcoming trucks, but besides that, here you can find a lot of content about new sedans and SUVs too.
The Electric Vehicle wave sooner or later will become huge, so this type of content might appear on this channel from time to time. But as we are still on the way to becoming fully electrical, we mostly cover fossil cars from many amazing brands.

So you can't use a Mobile Phone when Driving but using a Complex Touch Screen is OK? Great Logic there!
Engineers don’t have common sense a lot of times
The biggest tgrouble for me is there is no feel in a touch screen.
You cannot feel a "switch" so your eyes have to look at the screen to see what you are doing
You don't touch the touch screen whilst you are driving (at least not in a Tesla)
There is absolutely no reason to touch it.

@@alexd302
I've seen people touch it while driving, so no my comment is NOT disingenuous.
I rented a new car recently. My Jeep Grand Cherokee has controls on the front and back of the steering wheel and on the dash. Real knobs laid out in a logical fashion. The rental car was terrible. It was a several step process using the center screen just to get to the volume sliding fake control. Worse was I had to lean over far to the right because the fake slider control was at the far right of the dash. You had to take your eyes off traffic to run the control. If you hit a bump, that woulfd be reflected in the volume you were trying to adjust. I believe it was Norway that compared two similar sized autos, one with fake controls and one with real knobs, etc. The real controls took less time total, less distance and less time looking at the controls to make several adhustments. The fake controls took rhree times the distance to perform the same number of operations.

No US and EU R fine, but China will loose....
US and EU see EV as a cash cow to milk the consumer. They sell EV as the premium product. China makes EV for everyone at affordable price. US and EU are scared because their expensive EVs are technically inferior to the cheaper Chinese EV.
The Chinese smart phone company Xiaomi has release its first EV SU7. It has 664bhp, 0 to 60mph in 2.8sec and a range of 500 miles costing US$41,000. It sold out the entire year's production within 24 hours on the first day it was launched.
What planet are you on.?.EVs are tanking and Chinese EVs are in the worst shape of all car makers…so laff about that….
@@dougwright3287 We are in a planet where China accounts for 2/3 of the world's NEV production in 2023. The IEA 2023 report also stated half of the world's EV are running in China.
China in 2023 produced 30 million cars (US had about 10 million) and exported 9.5 million overseas. one in three exported is EV and that was achieved without touching the American market.

Tesla and FSD meet the requirement of lowering prices to meet lowering demand.

China is replacing ICE cars with EV. As long as the Chinese EV makers can produce better EV, with longer range, safer battery and at a lower price than the western manufacturers the Chinese EV will continue to expand in China. China also has the world's biggest renewable energy system, with each of solar, wind and hydro being the world leader, with the lowest electricity tariff among the industrialised nations so its EV development is a logical step to get rid of the fossil fuel which remains a headache for the west. The world's biggest metro system and HSR are in China and everything has been electrified.
Even a Chinese phone maker like Xiaomi is making EV. Its SU7 has 664bhp, able to reach 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 sec and has a range of 500 miles costing just US$41,000. Xiaomi sold it entire year's production on the first day the car was launched!
Wake up to the future!
As much as I like ICE powered vehicles I am fully aware that we need to look at better, cleaner and more efficient ways to power the future. Think EVs were simply a dumb, ill planned and delusional move. I’ve always believed we should have been looking towards bio and synthetic fuels. Looking at EVs they have been with us believe it or not since the 1880s and the several times they have been put to the test over the history of motoring they’ve always failed thanks to being unreliable, expensive and totally impractical which shows history never taught us anything when it came to them.
