i got the vip lantern for 400 robux cuz there was a deal and it WAS the lantern with the most range until chapter 4 I think and I dont know if its really true but it can lag your game a lil too

its definitely not as bright as it was before but it is still bright in some situations plus it looks cool and its quite hard to get

@@eisensean3184 Yeah for sure it got nerfed. It was one of the lanterns with the longest range but now it's just bad and does not show as much as light as before.

saigomo lantern is the way to go now. its got the same lighting mechanic as kusonoki (like a torch instead of 360 degrees) but its white light not red (so not as distracting) and has further range and is brighter
