I think the hardest part about getting the shiniachi lantern for me was finding her in the first place because she had a VERY small rate of spawning in jigoku and even then, you also have to worry about aka manto's spawn rate which is really annoying having to watch the *same freaking intro cutscene 70 times just to see if aka manto is even there...*
I have to agree that Corrupted lantern was much harder to get (before revamp of course), and I think this's because of Mihari's part. I beat Chapter 3 before revamp and me and my mate stuck at that part because it was hard to collect those skulls... BUT AFTER REVAMP, MIHARI GOT WHAT SHE DESERVED.
Honestly before the revamp, I sucked at mihari’s part so I had to convince people to help me with chapter 3 NORMAL mode. After the revamp, I soloed chapter 3 in nightmare mode lol. Mihari’s part was easier and I had to avoid the lanterns for Omukade’s part.
Lampus is brighter than the normal lantern and candle and it's good for dark maps Also bunny lantern is basically just duality but a different texture Lampus,Ronnie balloon,2x lantern,VIP lantern,normal lantern,candle all have the same brightness and range so don't get those lanterns it's just the candle with different textures
The brightness does depend on the color though, since color of the lantern can make something darker or lighter in any appearance. For example, red and blue. Red would not work well in semi-light but would work in really dark areas. Blue can be visibily seen in total light and not as good in the dark. White vs red, red would lose because white would be a brighter color than red
bunny is way brighter than duality, and no, lampus, ronnie, 2x lantern, vip, normal and candle do not have the same brightness lmao, you clearly dont own them

kosunoki was the hardest lantern for me because of the bugs at the boss fight like it would shut my inter net or i would get cought in samas webs on her rage phase
the new mihari puzzle is more complicated than the old one like the old one i used to finish in4 minutes but the new one was kinda hard because you have to get close to mihari and get her soul but at elast the chances of here getting stuck are high but the old one dont bug out at all

3:37 i kind of disagree on this, yes, CT is easy but you have to wait until november and december to get the lantern. And if you beat it on any other month, you won’t get it. (Also really hard to get the key on mobile when you are soloing)
For me, saigomo was pretty easy to get, it wasn't hard or anything or easy, it was both, if u count kusonoki in, its still not hard, also you can get saigomo also by doing chapter 4 nightmare!
The normal lantern should be the best light for most lantern because the other ones have low light but the ronnie lantern has alot 2 lanterns that are actually good for light

Honestly I consider lampus as the best lantern if u aren't an og (Its design is very good and a yellowish light and good brightness which is useful for every chapters unlike hiachi which lightning is distracting or mio and ronnie which causes hitbox moment) Also saigomo is hard bc it has some bug where u can't deal dmg even if the slicing animation is going.. My favourite lantern has got to be bunny. It’s really bright and cute! It’s good in design in brightness even though it slightly blocks your fov.
