Memento is a good Deck but like other Decks, not strong enough as SEFK/Yubel/Tear to come back from a board wipe.

I’d say adding to Typhon “This card cannot be destroyed in battle by a extra deck monster with over 3000 attack” wouldn’t be too busted since it would cement it as the Zeus counter while still allowing you to beat over it with stuff like Combined Creation or any main deck monster with 3000 attack.
Not many decks have 3k beatstick in maindeck though
@@nhatnamluong6294 ok change it to original attack of 3000 or higher so u can use attack boosts to get over it, plus its still vulnerable to effect removal provided the monster has under 3000 attack. So Little Knight, Mikialis, the Unchained link Monsters, SEFK’s backrow pushes, Promethian, Expurrly Noir, Epurley Plump’s suck effect, etc… should still remove him.
Really wish there was more support for Exosister. A field spell would be great.

Yes a field spell is needed for exosister. I would like Martha to receive her own xyz counter part too but one can only hope 😔

Yea 5 monster negates isn't enough surely. Surely what we need is a deck that puts up 5 monster negates AND spell/trap negates.
That's probably the worst way to make a deck. just because something hard counters it doesn't mean a deck needs something to protect it against that, you play around it. Look at Yubel, that deck is disgusting but it also dies to spells/traps.

It's not full power in Master Duel yet, either. I believe Memento Melodious is the "meta" variant
It's not good yet. It's still missing upcoming support.
Think Typhon should've at least get 1 additional summon after it's summon. That way you have a choice to 1 normal summon = zeus or return 1 card.
Plus, no reason why it shouldn't be a quick eff return 😂
Half the decks I play Evenly Matched in are just so I can use it as a Thrust or Crossout target. It might be non-HOPT, but it can be stupidly bricky to open.
Man Meta weekly could be so interesting to watch if the top 5 decks wouldn‘t exist. All these cool decks of the early rounds get clapped from SE, Yubel an tear
Its actually refreshing watching these from playing ranked master duel. All i play online is tear, yubel and some sort of stun deck

Memento can just sit on a light+dark summoned Chaos Angel and there is nothing Exo can do about it.

Exo has good traps that outs Chaos Angel, remember that chaos angel only makes synchros not affected by monster eff, traps outs it easily.

The trap ist not great tbh, has too many flaws... no omni, only monsters on the field. From my own experience, I can say that Memento looses hard to all board breakers like Raigeki, Evenly or Super Poly...
Like every single rouge deck probably.
@Jackinthebox1719 well some better than others... I don't know if a synchro negativ board counts as a rouge deck, but certainly handles board breakers better...
The combined creation doesn't even have inbuilt destruction protection 🥲

your deck must be really weak to only depend on evenly match
It also uses Shifter which is really strong in the current meta. I got to max lvl in the duelist cup with Exo and it was really easy lol. It’s also quick games so its ideal for an annoying grind like duelist cup
