Boats (Boat Pose & Bow Pose, Animated) | Kids Yoga Music and Mindfulness with Yo Re Mi

Going on an adventure? Let’s turn into all kinds of boats with Lauren and Dan! We’ll sail through different yoga poses and exercises as we stretch and strengthen together.
We’ll start with Boat Pose, which strengthens our core muscles and balance. Then, we’ll pedal through Bicycles to work on our abdominals, followed by a lateral stretch to lengthen our intercostal muscles. Next, we’ll flow into a Wide-Legged Forward Fold before finishing with Belly Boats (also known as Bow Pose) to stretch our tummies after all that core work!
This fun yoga sequence is perfect for classrooms, homes, or any setting where children can combine imaginative play, movement, and yoga to build strength, flexibility, and body awareness.

ABOUT YO RE MI:
Yo Re Mi is a musical yoga program for children. In each fun-filled session, we journey to new destinations using our bodies, voices, and imaginations. We collaboratively explore nature, geography, culture, rhythm, dance, songwriting and playing instruments. Through Yo Re Mi's unique combination of live music, movement and mindfulness, children develop self-confidence, focus, strength, communication skills and mind-body awareness.
